The diploma thesis was focused on identification of economic factors in the lumber factory and their influences on economic efficiency and competitiveness under real company conditions. The other aim was in the field of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector. The sawmill Javořice, Inc. became the selected company because of its komplex history. The sawmill was analyzed by financial indicators for period 2003 - 2014. The axis was divided in three time frames, of that two periods are evaluated (1/2 - 2003 - 2006; 2/2 - 2011 - 2016). The second step gives a defines the current competitive environment, for the identification SWOT analysis and 5F were used. Results of thesis contribute to the issue of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector in the Czech Republic. The impoving trend of financial stability with the deleveraging of the fianancial situation, which is a residue of the insolvency period, follow from the economic analysis of the sawmill Javořice, Inc. In the field of competition the situation in the company is relatively good. The thesis can be a valuable tool, with which everyone can evaluate the company and a partner with who can trade.

La publicación en el diario oficial la ley de firma electrónica (19.799), ha cambiado el escenario tradicional de las actividades comerciales, situando a Chile en una posición de vanguardia tecnológica entre sus pares. Este nuevo entorno sin duda traerá innumerables beneficios para las empresas desde el punto de vista económico, con importantes ahorros en costos y un mayor nivel de competitividad. Pero también involucra nuevos desafíos legales, tecnológicos, en los procesos de negocios y en la cultura. Hasta hoy, la legislación Chilena vigente, exige que cualquier operación comercial sea respaldada a través de Documentos Tributarios previamente autorizados por el Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII). Estos documentos son autorizados por el SII a través de un timbre cuño que el contribuyente está obligado a aplicar sobre sus documentos en papel antes de utilizarlos. Tanto para el SII como para los contribuyentes, especialmente para los que requieren timbrar un gran volumen de documentos, éste es un procedimiento engorroso y con un elevado costo administrativo. Como una manera de optimizar y facilitar las operaciones comerciales entre las empresas, la relación de ellas con el SII, y en concordancia con la política adoptada de modernizar su gestión y utilizar la tecnología y las telecomunicaciones actuales como herramientas efectivas facilitadoras de procesos, el Servicio de Impuestos Internos propicia la implementación de un modelo de operación con Documentos Tributarios Electrónicos (DTE) que aproveche las bondades de la red Internet como canal de comunicación, definiéndose como un Documento Tributario que es emitido por un contribuyente, y cuya generación, almacenaje y/o transmisión se realiza en forma electrónica. Una solución flexible permitirá a las empresas integrar el sistema con otros sistemas existentes (contabilidad, ventas, compras, etc.) automatizando los procesos, ahorrando burocracia innecesaria y reduciendo los errores propios del manejo manual. El SII, por su parte, podrá tener un mejor control sobre las operaciones comerciales, reduciendo la evasión y el fraude a medida que el sistema logra penetración. Adicionalmente es sabido lo difícil que es vigilar personalmente todas y cada una de las actividades de una gran empresa, por eso en estas existen varios departamentos y empleados responsables de todas sus actividades. Entre ellos tenemos al auditor, que en definitiva, es un analista que investiga el control de todas las operaciones en su detalle y en su raíz Asimismo es tarea de la auditoria determinar la adecuación y fiabilidad de los sistemas de información y de las políticas y procedimientos operativos existentes en los distintos departamentos de la empresa, y es aquí donde recae la responsabilidad de analizar, controlar y ayudar a una correcta adaptación de esta nueva metodología de hacer negocios, con los Documentos Tributarios Electrónicos.

Goal of our work is to introduce analyses, methods and instruments, which we use for strategic analyses of our firm. Furthermore, those instruments we apply on our analyses-tic company; with the help of those instruments and also with financial indicators we can find out not only strong sides and opportunities, but also concentrate on the weak side. At the end of the text will be shown direct proposals and suggestions of our management. That should guarantee next development and planned growth of the company.

A partir de lo expuesto, nos parece queda en evidencia que la masificación de un instrumento como la firma electrónica exige un acabado estudio sobre su valor probatorio, poniendo un énfasis especial en cómo, a partir de nuestra actual normativa referente a los medios de prueba, se resolverán los problemas que surgirán con la implementación de este nuevo instrumento, y qué cambios o adecuaciones legales deberían hacerse previos a su implementación. / Memoria (licenciado en ciencias jurídicas y sociales)

This dissertation aims to provide guidance to research and practice in regards to the co-operation form of the virtual organisation and the insight that virtual organisation forms could prove to be a viable alternative to classic and traditional cooperation forms such as mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and others in business practice. Although the classic and more traditional cooperation forms are widely known and often discussed in the relevant press, the same does not seem to be true for the cooperation form of the virtual organisation. The explanation of the emergence and the theoretical foundation of the virtual organisation are mentioned in this dissertation. After that, typical characteristics and chances and risks of the organisation form follow. Empirical studies with business professionals and stock exchange listed companies in Europe prove that the concept of the virtual organisation is not so widely known in the public and in the business praxis as other classic and traditional cooperation forms. It is shown that on the other hand, many characteristics and aspects of the virtual organisation, as they are described in the relevant business and management theory, can also be found in business praxis and in real life companies. Case studies from modern business praxis will be discussed in order to further highlight the concept of the virtual organisation and its inherent characteristics via real examples from the business world. This dissertation aims to make clear this discrepancy of a lack of public conscious awareness on the one hand and representation of relevant characteristics of virtual companies on the other hand. The comparison with other forms of cooperation shows that virtual corporations can be clearly distinguished from other forms of cooperation, despite the fact that significant similarities and common grounds can be partially observed. The relevance and the potential of the cooperation type of the virtual organisation can have in the present and in the future is also discussed.

This thesis titled New-build Firm Property is going to deal with the building proposal of the administrative building – i.e. firm property - and its detailed construction documentation. The building is going to be a wooden structure, located on a specific site with its foundation already being dealt with. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the selected construction method, its features, and the construction process. The administrative building itself will include two possible layout variations which will be compared against each other. The most suitable variation is going to be selected and developed further in the drawing part of the thesis. Drawing part is divided into a written part - accompanying report and technical summary report – and drawing part, including the following: coordination state consisting of foundation construction, foundation ground plan, floor ground plan, sectional view, angles, documented construction of all sections, documentation of materials used, and five details concerning subsequent design solutions. The conclusion of the thesis aims at the summary of the topic discussed, its evaluation, and works cited.

The aim of this thesis is the work out of the economic analysis of the management of the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic during years 2011-2015, as a government department and departmental organization of Ministry of the Environment. Furthermore, it was needed to find suitable methods to evaluate the effectiveness of state management of the non-profit organizations. First of all, available literature sources were searched. In the practical part the financial analysis method of the municipal organisation was applied. Analysis part-indicators got into the creditworthiness assessment models of the selected organization. The last part of the thesis contains recommendations, which should increase effectiveness of management.

This Thesis deals with the issue of the provision of sick days (days of paid medical leave). The main objective is the assessment of potential consequences of the introduction of paid medical leave for small and micro businesses. The research part looks at paid medical leave from two angles, from the perspective of employers but also from the perspective of selected employees who already use the employee benefit of paid medical leave, so-called sick days. Based on the data obtained from the surveys, this Thesis includes a detailed analysis of the results, which lead to the conclusion not recommending the introduction of paid medical leave. Concrete recommendations for employers are presented.
