Title: COMPETENCY PROFILE OF FITNESS INSTRUCTOR Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out competencies of fitness instructor and make a competency profile, containing competencies, which are important for excellent fitness instructor. Methods: I applied the method of interview and the method of research in my thesis. The interview was used to make a list of competencies of fitness instructor. The research was applied in the final part of making competency profile, for an attestation of explorative competency profile of fitness instructor. Results: The result of the thesis is competency profile, respectively a list of competencies, which distinguishes an excellent fitness instructor from an ordinary one. Marketingový mix fitness centra / Marketing mix of the fitness centre

The aim of the thesis is to define and evaluate the marketing mix of the fitness centre World Gym Fitness Group Inc. and to recommend changes that would increase the efficiency of the marketing mix. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters and focuses on marketing mix of services and marketing environment. Within the crucial practical part there has been run a research to determine the mission of the company and clients´ satisfaction. The research is based on direct observation. The practical part contains at first general characteristics of the World Gym company. The next chapters are focused on the individual parts of the marketing mix of the fitness centre. The marketing mix includes services, price, promotion, distribution, physical environment and people. At the end all findings are summarized in the SWOT analysis and recommendations are designed to increase the efficiency of the marketing mix of the fitness centre.

Title: Customer satisfaction with the services of sports and relaxation club I'M FIT Wellness Fitness Objectives: The thesis is dedicated to a survey of customer satisfaction level regarding the services of sport and relaxation club called I'M FIT Wellness Fitness. The level of satisfaction was measured by a service quality survey which was carried out by the questionnaire method SERVQUAL. The clients of the club compared the actual perceived quality of services provided by above mentioned sport and relaxation facility to the expected quality of services they assign to an "outstanding" fitness centre. Based on the results taken from this survey it was possible to classify the service quality of I'M FIT Wellness Fitness and to suggest certain recommendations which should lead to a higher level of service quality and also a higher level of customer satisfaction with the services provided there. Method: The service quality survey in the sport and relaxation club I'M FIT Wellness Fitness was carried out by the standardized SERVQUAL questionnaire which was focused on the actual perceived quality of services and was comparing it to clients expectations they assign to "outstanding" fitness center. Title: New product implementation into fitness centre marketing strategy This thesis is focused on the issues of attendance of fitness centres predominantly by male population. Especifically, I will look into Fitness Power, which is located in Prague. Objectives: Using strategic analysis and marketing research, respectively using a survey to assess the current state of the fitness centre and its services and try to propose changes to the fitness centre so that it will be attended by both men and more women. My thesis will contain a proposal to create an exercise room, which has not been built yet in this fitness centre. Methods: There will be used following strategic analysis: PEST analysis, analysis of resources, analysis of competition and also marketing research, respectively a survey. The sample for the research will be selected from the group of customers who visit any service in the fitness centre. Customers will be able to fill in the questionnaire directly when visiting the fitness centre. Based on the analysis above and marketing research will be developed SWOT analysis. <p>Tidigare studier visar att förekomsten av ätstörningar är högre inom idrotten än i samhället i stort och är enligt Riksidrottsförbundet en viktig fråga för idrottsrörelsens arbete. Träningsanläggningar är en arena där många individer befinner sig dagligen. Studier kring träningsanläggningars förebyggande arbete mot ätstörningar saknas idag. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i så fall hur instruktörer på träningsanläggningar arbetar med insatser kring ätstörningar bland sina medlemmar. Studien genomfördes med enkät som datainsamlingsmetod där 26 instruktörer från tre olika träningsanläggningar i Sverige medverkade. Urvalet baserades på bekvämlighetsskäl efter anläggningarnas belägenhet och av tidigare personliga kontakter. Enkäten bestod av 11 frågor som utformades utifrån uppsatsens syfte och frågeställningar. Resultatet visade att ingen av de tre anläggningarna hade någon skriftlig eller dokumenterad handlingsplan/policy eller förebyggande arbete mot ätstörningar. Kunskap och medvetenhet om ätstörningar fanns hos flertalet av respondenterna. 23 av de 26 respondenterna såg sig själva som förebild för sina deltagare.</p>
