Den digitala järnridån under distansundervisning : En förståelseinriktad studie om hur lärare i samhällskunskap realiserar bedömning i den svenska gymnasieskolan under covid 19-pandemin

Jönsson, Oskar January 2022 (has links)
This study seeks to bring understanding in how teachers in civics, in the context of the Swedish secondary school curriculum, handled and what strategies they employed in relation to teaching, assessment and legal certainty during the covid-19 pandemic when lessons and education was conducted while pupils’ and teachers where separated both in space and time. The theoretical perspectives are primarily that of frame factors and process variables and theory of assessment which seeks to explain how the teachers changed their didactics and came to terms with fruitful teaching under a new set of conditions. The empirical evidence is gathered through interviews from five civics teachers. The analytical work has been conducted by analyzing the teachers’ statements in relation to didactics, assessment, and legal certainty. The result shows that the teachers could conduct education in line with the laws and decrees that regulate the teachers work. However, the pupils showed lower results and had overall learned less. This was primarily due to social dealignment that came with lessons performed in a digital format.
