The assignment of diploma thesis was processed the area of the textile factory in Náchod – named Tepna. As part of this work I tried to suggest a live continuation of the historical core of city Náchod and connect the new district to the Plhov housing estate. As a goal I have set revitalization of building Bílá Tepna whitch is actually abandoned. Bíla Tepna is the last standing object from original development and it indicates the indentity of the place. In one part of territory I put a new block bulding with mostly residential function. This area surrounds the main square and object Bíla Tepna. The second part of area consists of terraced family houses with children’s playground. By my suggestion I wainted residents to show how it is possible design the development if object Bílá Tepna will be preserved.

The subject of the thesis is a part of the South Center of Brno. After a long period of time, the locality is starting to "wake up to life", thanks to the fact that after a few decades it was finally decided on the fate and location of the Central Station. Thus, it is expected to expand the city in a southern direction. Then incorporate adjacent areas to the center. The thesis follows the project from 2018, the subject of which was the design of an urban concept of a territorial unit defined by Opuštěná Street, the Lower Railway Station, the Svratka River and the planned new urban class located on the visual axis of Cathedral (st. Petr and Pavel). Therefore, the thesis deals with the architectural study of a part of this area, situated near the river Svratka, on the border of the newly emerging city embankment. It is a multifunctional block, with predominant use for housing with 136 apartments for about 450 inhabitants. This block is further divided into 3 buildings, which have two underground floors providing technological background, and parking spaces for the entire multifunctional block. Further, the architectural study focuses on one of these polyfunctional block objects and processes it in more detail. The building of the residential building, called "A" in the study, provides a total of 47 apartments. And in the ground floor of the building there are rentable spaces for various uses. The effort of the proposal was to create quality living in a unique location on the waterfront and provide the inhabitants with a view of the Svratka River and the park on the opposite bank, even though it is almost in the city center.

The aim of the master project is to design a mixed- use building in Brno – Žebětín. The project has three parts: architectural design of the building, HVAC design and HVAC performance simulation of kindergarten. The building is in shape of letter L. It has three floors and flat green roof. The building site includes a car park and playground.The building includes a kindergarten and flats. The ground floor is separated into two parts. First part includes the kindergarten, while the second includes entrance hall and the technical facilities for the flats in second and third floor. Both parts have separate entries. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from Porotherm ceramic blocks and the horizontal load-bearing structures from reinforced concrete slab. The HVAC includes gas condensing boilers as heat source and photovoltaics for electricity supply on the roof. The HVAC performance simulation of kindergarten is created in DesignBuilder software and includes analyses of internal environment.The project is elaborated in AutoCAD, Revit, Deksoft, BuildingDesign and DesignBuilder.

Revitalization of the former Jaselské barracks located in Brno in the area between Staňkova and Štefanikova street needs brand new project of urban structure and its functional scheme.New urban project of structure proceeds from pluses of block housing project and town houses. On the contrary it tries to eliminate its own minuses. The functional concept consists mainly of living function. This function is completed with daily life services. Because of bad noisy enviroment with public transport along Staňkova street it was necessary to replace block of flats with house for administrative and seniors or young couples. The main concept of this project is the idea to return to the living in communities. It tries to support social comunication and public life. And thus returning the desappearing local identity of the place. Project follows the aims of spacial planning policy in Brno by designing the leisure time centre for youth and public. That is the pivotal project of diploma thesis.

The goal of the study was to conduct a survey on the extent and nature of poly-victimization of adolescents in Heideveld. This researcher used a quantitative approach, administering an altered form of the Juvenile Victimization Questionnaire to achieve the goal. This questionnaire had 34 screener items exploring victimization events across a broad range of possible victimization types. Convenience sampling of grade 8-10 learners was used from a school in Heideveld. Ninety-one respondents completed the questionnaire, the age range spread from 13 – 18 years of age. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the results. Responses of respondents to victimization (directed either at themselves or a peer) were explored through open-ended questions. Content analysis was performed to describe the data collected. The results showed that the extent of poly-victimization of adolescents in Heideveld is high. The topic of this diploma thesis is to revitalise of one city block and to maximise of its utilisation with combination of many different functions on this concrete area. This work is based on pre-diploma project in previous semester. This project ensures many possible functions for the inhebitants and also reflects natural differentiation between privat and public usage with impact on high quality of living space and appropriate public transport. Designed build-up area is situated betveen Veveri, Kounicova and Pekarenska streets in Brno. Patterns of this area are essential for the treatment of this project when both diagonaly and verticaly crosses whole area. Substance and space treatment reflects nearby structures and is naturally connected to it. Main substance of object is divided to three blocks via communications which crosses the area. Innerblock is sedated with green vegetation, connected to transit parter with shops and services. On the parters roof there is green walk-designed cover for inhabitants and after there are higher houses. Whole building complex is closed with rambling fractional roof covers with terraces of storeyed flats. This space structure is horizontally divided by its functions. In this project there are underground garages, shops and services, administrative spaces and space for rent and mostly flats for living. Fundamental look of the building is created by external rendering covering most of building which is connected to nearby structures. Shopping mall and separate blocks and also entrances to buildings and terraces/balcony are formed by taking off the substance by which leads to its fractionalism.

Content of the Diploma thesis is the design documentation a block of flats with trade gallery in Tábor. The design documentation and annexes of diploma thesis are elaborated according to present valid laws, goverment´s restrictions and standards. This object is located on plot no. 1457/33 and 1457/1 cadastre unit Tábor. The building is situated in area designated to housing development. Next to the land are there public infrastructure. The apartment building is divided into 20 flats including one accessible flat and café for 60 customers and max 5 employees. Flats are located from second floor except accessible flat, which is in grounfloor. In grounfloor is common storage area and utility room. Building has four (above-ground) floor. Object is dimensioned 31,7 x 25,2 m and high 13,6 m.The object is builded on finished grade. Load-bearing structural systém is from hollow bricks. Building has flat roof and whole object is thermal insulated.

The subject of proposal is a new dominant of the city of Brno. It is a building which will affect panorama of the city, a building which will be important part of a new South district and a new Brno Railway Station. The building will become orientation point in long-distance views as well as in the area. The proposal works with a building which is open and alive thanks to mix-use and public access on different height levels. Greenery forms the corner of the building and creates it’s identity. The base for architectural study became urban concept designed as a pre-diploma project. Important element of the concept is axis which draws the greenery from the river Svratka into the area and connects it with the new station. The Europoint – proposed building – becomes termination of the axis. The building is situated on a unique site which requires unique concept. The motive of the house is greenery and future vision of buildings which enrich surroundings in some ways. The basic volume is triangular and uses area of the site on maximum level with corner towards boulevard. This corner becomes the central element, especially from entry and view from the boulevard. I recreated the corner using vegetation into green and living. The green corner gives a new perspective on creating exposed corners, adds value to the urban area and creates identity of the building. The green motive intertwines with the building from entrance hall up to the bar at the highest floor. The volume of the building is defined by the inside usage and then form follows function. When choosing the functions I took into account needs of the area and took advantage of high-rise building. Commercial areas in the ground floor, administration centre of Czech Railways and conference rooms were created. The administrative use is added by co-working in the middle if the building, the upper part offers flats with view over Brno and in the crown is the highest placed bar in Brno.

This diploma thesis deals with the development of the real estate market in selected urban areas of Brno and its surroundings. First of all, it defines the basic terms and definitions that relate to the real estate market and real estate valuation. The development of factors that affect the real estate market is examined. In the next part there is an analysis of the development of realized purchase prices of flats in Brno and also a thorough analysis of the development of average offer prices of flats in Brno and in the cities of Rousínov, Šlapanice and Slavkov u Brna to compare price differences. To compare prices, three basic criteria are set, on which the development is noticeable. The last part of the work presents a comparison and evaluation of realized purchase prices and offer prices of apartments according to selected criteria in selected city districts of Brno in the years 2018-2020.
