In this way, the research had as a pretension to seek, within the foundations of the creation of the theory of the regulation, if this base that bases the theory should or not be observed by the monetary authority when the formulation of the policy that involves the currency, in opposition to the application of orthodox theory, such as that of general equilibrium. In this sense, being the theoretical framework of the research the theory of regulation, the problem arising from its implementation for the conduction of monetary policy presents itself as a prominent theme, as the currency is important in the formation of the state, being one of the components of its sovereignty, and also the assumptions of the pillars of theory, ie, whether the accumulation regime, the mode of regulation, and the institutional forms, would contribute to the national monetary authority's fulfilling its legal role in of the national economy, with special emphasis on procedures aimed at preventing outbreaks, correcting the direction of the economy in inflation, deflation or even stagnation, of the actions required due to the occurrence of crises, which are specific to the system capitalist and which need to be evaluated in the near future, forming a set of actions that, when launched for the conduct of monetary policy contribute to the central institution's promotion of social justice. / A moeda, a teoria da regulação e a formação da política monetária no país, pilar da política macroeconômica, junto com as políticas fiscal e cambial, formam o conjunto objeto do trabalho. Desta maneira, a pesquisa pretendeu buscar, dentro dos fundamentos da criação da teoria da regulação, se esta base que alicerça a teoria deveria, ou não, ser observada pela autoridade monetária quando da formulação da política que envolve a moeda, em contraponto à aplicação de teoria ortodoxa, como a do equilíbrio geral. Neste sentido, sendo o marco teórico da pesquisa a teoria da regulação, o problema decorrente da sua implantação para a condução da política monetária apresenta-se como tema proeminente, como a moeda é importante na formação do estado, sendo um dos componentes da sua soberania e, ainda, levantando-se as hipóteses referentes aos pilares da teoria, ou seja, se o regime de acumulação, o modo de regulação e as formas institucionais contribuiriam para que a autoridade monetária nacional cumpra seu papel legal na condução da economia nacional, destacando-se procedimentos que visem à prevenção de surtos, de correção do rumo da economia em quadros de inflação, deflação ou até mesmo estagnação, das ações necessárias em virtude da ocorrência de crises, que são próprias ao sistema capitalista e que necessitam de avaliações conjunturais para serem enfrentadas, formando-se um conjunto de ações que, ao serem lançadas para a condução da política monetária, contribuam para que a instituição central promova justiça social.
