Interactive Preview Renderer for Complex Camera Models / Interactive Preview Renderer for Complex Camera Models

Zámečník, Bohumír January 2012 (has links)
Title: Interactive Preview Renderer for Complex Camera Models Author: Bohumír Zámečník Department: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor: Dr. Alexander Wilkie Supervisor's e-mail address: alexander@wilkie.at Abstract: An interactive renderer was implemented that allows users to preview the effects of imaging with lenses, such as depth of field, bokeh (defocus highlights) and tilt-shift lens configurations. It is based on a state-of-the-art method which com- bines the power of GPU rasterization and ray tracing. Many models and interactive visualizations were created. A non-interactive simulation of a complex geometrical lens model has been made which is able to produce optical aberrations. Also a prototype implementation of recent fast spreading filters is available. A thorough summary of the principles of optical image formation, lens models and depth of field rendering methods used in computer graphics is given along with a comparison of the approaches and new insights. New possibilities of representing the behavior of complex lenses are suggested, which could be employed to accelerate the rendering. Keywords: image synthesis, camera models, depth of field, GPU, image-based ray tracing

Analýza chování subjektů v období zveřejňování makroekonomických zpráv na futures trhu / Behavioral analysis of individual market players on futures market during macroeconomic news publication period

Fyrbach, Filip January 2010 (has links)
Interest in the results of important macroeconomic information is in relation to the financial crisis deeper than usual. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the behavior of individual players on the market during the time of publication of these reports. It uses the standard tools that are available in commercial platforms. Literature, which addresses this area of trading, is not widely available. I dare to say that this thesis offer to the reader non-traditional view on this issue.

Experimentální stanovení hloubky ostrosti optických systémů / Experimental depth of field determination of optical imaging systems

Kubáček, Svatopluk January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this work is to introduce the principle of scanning in optical microscopy. This thesis deals with problem of parameters of display process and their influence on the results and measurements of these parameters. In detail there is analyzed the depth of field of the optical system and there are established some possibilities of theoretical and experimental determination. Part of this thesis is the realization of the measurement work place and program providing experimental depth of field based on different measurement methods. The conclusion is devoted to the practical part, which has the task to monitor settings and optical systems and their impact on depth of field.

Vliv hloubky dezénové drážky na dosažitelné zpomalení vozidla / Influence of tread grooves depth on achievable vehicle deceleration

Kejíková, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is devoted on passenger car tyres. Theoretical part covers description of production, construction and tyre parameters. Practical part is comprised experimental measurement of influence of tread grooves depth on achievable vehicle deceleration. First, it is focused on preparation conditions of measurement, with subsequent processing and evaluation of the data obtained.

Skin efekt ve vysokootáčkových elektrických strojích. / Skin effect in high-speed electrical machines.

Klíma, Petr January 2019 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the suppression of the skin and proximity effects in high-speed machines. The first part summarizes the general knowledge of high-speed machines. The second part is devoted to the principle and possible suppression of consequences caused by skin and proximity effects. The third part shows the simulation results of models of a synchronous machine with permanent magnets. The results of these simulations reveal the consequences of skin and proximity effects. In addition, design measures are proposed to limit these and other undesirable phenomena to achieve the highest possible efficiency.

Chemicko-tepelné zpracování ocelí / Chemical-heat treatment of steels

Rozum, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with study of surface layers of low-carbon steels formed by chemical-heat treatment. The first three chapters consist of theoretical part of the thesis, there are explained basic physical principles of these technologies and described individual types, the third chapter deals with the application of chemical-heat treated low-carbon steels in mechanical engineering. The experimental part of thesis deals with analysis of surface layers of two low-carbon steels formed using plasma nitrocarburizing and gas nitrocarburizing. The properties of these layers are evaluated based on the results of mechanical tests (hardness tests) and observation of microstructure. The thesis is completed by discussion, where the achieved results are evaluated.

Hodnocení vlivu různých aspektů na kvalitu v 3DTV: Subjektivní testy / Assessment influence of the various aspects on the QoE in 3DTV: Subjective tests

Slíž, Martin January 2014 (has links)
This thesis studies aspects influencing image quality 3D TV systems. Thesis is focused on comparing TV´s of the same brand with different diagonals and compares the change in perception of the evaluators by this parameter. The basic evaluated parameters are image depth, contrast, color rendition, image crossover and overall impression. Describes the creation of testing sequences for subjective tests, testing and evaluation of testing.

Metody ditheringu obrazu / Methods of image dithering

Pelc, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
Master’s thesis discusses methods for dithering image. The basis is the explanation of the theory of digital images, color models, color depth and color range. Followed by the dismantling of the basic dithering methods which are a thresholding method, a random and matrix diffusion. Discussed are advanced methods of dithering with error distribution, bee with best known method Floyd-Steinberg. Included is a comparison of different methods including subjective comparison using a questionnaire. Program part is JAVA applet that shows the possibility of generating images using various dithering methods.

Representace specialnich trid kombinatorickych objektu / Representation of special classes of combinatorial objects

Scholleová, Barbora January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to bring together two areas of the graph theory. We first give a brief exposition of graph homomorphisms and related notions that directs to the definition of the replacement operation by using an appropriate replacement graph. The tree-depth is investigated as one of considerable chara- cteristics of each graph. Finally we focus on category representations in the category Graph of all finite graphs and Graphk of all finite graphs with tree-depth at most k.

Role imaginace v estetické zkušenosti u Mikela DuFrenna / The Role of Imagination in Aesthetic Experience in Mikel Dufrenne's Thought

Borecký, Felix January 2017 (has links)
1 Summary: F. Borecký, The Role of Imagination in Aesthetic Experience in Mikel Dufrenne's Thought The aim of this dissertation thesis is to present Dufrenne's original conception of imagination and to highlight its significance for philosophical aesthetics. We focus on a critical interpretation of two alternative approaches which Dufrenne considers in his work. The first approach is based on a noetic perspective, the other on an ontological one. In both cases, Dufrenne claims that imagination is a productive, effecting activity which in a formative manner participates in knowledge of a priori truths regarding human being in the world. Such knowledge is most fully accomplished in the aesthetic experience. Only there a man opens oneself to the external world while maintaining with it a relation of primordial corporeity, which they both - i.e., both humans and the world - share. Imagination and its correlate, the imaginary, in an aesthetic experience stimulate each other and enable a reverberation of the most fundamental possibilities of human being in the world. It is imagination and the imaginary which enable a man to penetrate the superficial empirical level and reach the deep level of the a priori. On the level of the a priori, a man can experience the original corporeal unity which is of the same kind...
