The aim of the experiment was to assess the dependence of selected metals (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ni and Pb) for the quantity of organic matter and its quality on arable land. Soil sampling was conducted in Starý Hrozenkov and Žítková, located in the White Carpathians. Soil samples were collected during the growing season of 2012, on a monthly basis (April to October) from a depth of 0-30 cm. To determine the content of available metals by AAS, soil samples were extracted with 2M HNO3. Determination of the amounts of soil organic matter was performed by an oxidometric method (Cox), for determining the monitored fractions of soil organic matter (humic substances, humic and fulvic acids) was used the method of short fractionation. The results of analyzes of soil samples revealed that the supply of all monitored metals was in Žítková lower than in Starý Hrozenkov. Like the metal was also the quantity of each fractions of soil organic matter at the site Žítková lower than in the soil Starý Hrozenkov. In both localities were found a positive correlation between Cox and almost all the monitored elements. In soil in Žítková was found medium strong dependence metals (r = 0.4339 to 0.6675) on the content of humic substances in soil and medium dependence Zn, Cu and Fe on fulvic acids. In the Starý Hrozenkov was medium dependence Pb, Ni and Mn on humic acids and medium strong dependence Fe on fulvic acids (r = 0.4459).

Memory structure, memory assessment, Grober-Buschke paradigm, Alzheimer disease, and vascular dementia were discussed in the first part of the present thesis. Present study aims to examine the relationship between white matter changes, hippocampal atrophy and the performance in Enhanced Cued Recall test in nondemented geriatric population (n = 104). Partial neparametric correlations were used while controlling for age and Fazekas score. Medium correlations were found between left/right hippocampal volumes and free and total recall. No correlations were found between Fazekas score and ECR scores while controlling for age and left and right hippocampal volumes. Metamorphic processes can transform the organic matter in sedimentary rocks into structurally organized carbonaceous matter, in ideal conditions to graphite. In the centre of West Alpine arch, the metasedimentary rocks are rich in dispersed carbonaceous matter and were used in this thesis to specify the thermal range of metamorphism based on the structural state. Previous studies have used mainly the Raman spectrometers to determine the structural state of carbonaceous matter. Unfortunately this method doesn't allow in-situ analyses which, in addition to Earth studies, can be essential for studying other planetary bodies and moons of our solar system. As only the smallest and lightest instruments are required for analyses during potential planetary missions to Mars, it is important to verify that the small instruments are able to detect even the small concentrations of carbonaceous matter. Currently available miniature and portable Raman spectrometers have started to become more precise but are still not as precise as laboratory Raman microspectrometers. The aim of the thesis was to analyse dependency between setting of the price level and gasoline quantum sold at a chosen distributor in the Czech Republic and in Poland. In the first part of the thesis, there are characterized price theory, tax theory, theory of state interventions, supply, demand and price elasticity of demand. In the second part, first, there is analysed whole market with fuels in both countries with their comparison. These markets have had slightly different development and they do have different market structure, because of the existence of the market leader in Poland. Second, there are analysed the data of the chosen distributor and analysed dependencies between price and quantum sold. Research showed that there is an existence of dependencies of quantum sold on both change of the absolute price and change of the relative price. These dependencies and the impact of the relative price change is more significant in the Czech Republic than in Poland.

This diploma thesis deals with the separation process of air polutant on air scrubber. Absorption of carbon dioxide was carried out into 1 % solution of sodium hydroxide. Theoretical part is aimed at mass transportation, theory of absorption and examples of scrubbers. Experimental part focuses on some operating characteristics of scrubber and on optimisation of two-phase flow. The influence of hydrodynamic conditions on the absorption efficiency was found.
