Drivers influencing the end price of fuel in the Czech Republic and implications for relevant businesses / Elementy ovlivňující koncovou cenu paliv v České republice a implikace pro relevantní společnosti

Fingl, Filip January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with understanding drivers influencing the end price of fuel in the Czech Republic and ramifications for relevant companies. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of all relevant elements have been influencing end prices of gasoline and diesel during last 8 years, understand their leverage and uncover which of those were the most important for this development. These are then researched using mainly graphical analysis and basic statistical tools. The delivery is that both prices of gasoline and diesel are highly correlated with the price development of crude oil and the prices of their respective commoditized barges expressed in the nominal value of CZK. It was also discovered that there are visible tendencies for asymmetrical pricing reaction and reaction lags, which could serve as a basis for a follow-up work. Based on these findings several conclusive recommendations for relevant companies were built and delivered.

Použití kapalinových scrubberů při odstraňování plynných polutantů ze vdušin / Using of liquid scrubbers for the removing of air pollutants

Straka, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
Diploma thesis concerned with separation of carbon dioxide from gas mixture. Elimination of gas is made by absorption into liquid phase. Theoretical part is based on study of mass transport through gas and liquid interphase. Experimental part deal with absorption of carbon dioxide to caustic soda solution via gass scrubber.

Eliminace přídavných zatížení při zkoušení podvozkových komponent / Additional Load Elimination at Suspension Components Testing

Brychta, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
The thesis first provides a survey of acceleration tests with the focus on automotive component testing. The survey covers multiple types of acceleration tests and sources of stress. The thesis then includes a MATLAB application for the removal of inertia forces, which is applied on two shaft configuration models developed in Pro Engineer. Both models are subjected to stress analysis using FEM in Ansys. The thesis has been carried out in collaboration with TRW-DAS Dačice.

Návrh rozšíření výroby nátěrových hmot ve firmě Sherwin - Williams Czech Republic / Proposal for the expansion of the manufacturing process of paint coating material at Sherwin - Williams Czech Republic company

Vávra, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
This master´s thesis is aimed at the analyse of the production of lacquers and paints and at its expansion in the Sherwin-Williams Czech republic company. At first particular activities of the company are presented and then several variants of the expansion are suggested, among them belongs the implementation of the operation in shifts, the modernization of equipment and the increase in the number of workers. After the exploration of influences of these variants on logistic processes and the exploration of related costs and merits the modernization is chosen as the optimal variant for the expected level of the demand.

Vliv způsobu vypalování na kvalitu laku / Influence of the burn method on varnish quality

Svačina, Roman January 2015 (has links)
The thesis deals with the influence of the curing process on varnish quality of paint powder coating. The thesis includes a literary study focused on the issue of powder coating. In the experimental part of the work will be done curing of two different materials in three technically different kilns and compare the effect of firing.

Mléko a mléčné výrobky a jejich vnímání mladými dospělými / Milk and dairy products and their perception by young adults

Valchová, Jana January 2020 (has links)
Early adulthood is a period of peak bone mass formation, which is one of the basics in prevention of osteoporosis onset in older age. Milk and dairy products intake as a source of well-absorbed calcium is still very substantial at this age, as it was in the previous period of adolescence. However, it is also often a time of finding a person's own diet and a time of eliminating certain food groups from the diet, which is often due to succumbuing to widespread myths. Thus, milk is one of the most controversial foods for the public. The aim of the questionnaire research, which was part of the thesis, was to find out, how many young adults believe and succumb to these myths. Questions were asked about eating habits and respondents' views on the health benefits of milk. The survey shows that a significant percentage of them are misinformed by such myths and exclude milk from their diet, often for no reason. Although campaigns to promote milk consumption are still ongoing and have undoubtedly had a positive effect on public perception of the benefits of milk, it is certain that this activity needs to be continued and myths (not only) about milk still need to be debunked. keywords: milk, dairy products, early adulthood, myths, peak bone mass, calcium

Záření v hvězdných větrech / Radiation in stellar winds. Resonance line formation in inhomogeneous hot star winds

Šurlan, Brankica January 2012 (has links)
Title: Radiation in stellar winds. Resonance line formation in inhomogeneous hot star winds Author: M.Sc. Brankica Šurlan Department: Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Supervisor: RNDr. Jiří Kubát, CSc., Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Abstract: To incorporate the three-dimensional (3-D) nature of stellar wind clump- ing into radiative transfer calculations, in this thesis a newly developed full 3-D Monte Carlo radiative transfer code for inhomogeneous expanding stellar winds is presented and used to investigate how different model parameters influence reso- nance line formation. Realistic 3-D models that describe the dense as well as the rarefied wind components are used to model the formation of resonance lines in a clumped stellar wind. Non-monotonic velocity fields are accounted for as well. It is shown that the 3-D density and velocity wind inhomogeneities have very strong impact on the resonance line formation. The models show that the line opacity is lower for a larger clump separation and shallower velocity gradients within the clumps. They also demonstrate that to obtain empirically correct mass-loss rates from UV resonance lines, wind clumping and its 3-D nature must be taken into account. 1

Porovnání klasických a současných povrchových úprav stavebně-truhlářských výrobků v exteriéru

Luňáček, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This thesis compares the differences between the use of classical and contemporary treatment practices of woodwork surfaces in carpentry, focusing on wood products made of acacia, oak, and spruce. Ox blood and used automotive oil were used for classical surface treatment whereas water-soluable pigment paints were used for contemporary treatment practices; choices were based on various conditions, such as weather, wind, or cardinal directions. Changes of the surface conditions were monitored and form the basis of this thesis; experimental measurement of samples, which were exposed to exterior conditions for ten months, form the basis of research data. A set of samples which were kept under constant environmental conditions with no access to light were stored in a laboratory in order to provide a set of contrasting samples to samples exposed to exterior conditions.

Posouzení fyzikálně-mechanických vlastností a trvanlivosti pojivových koncepcí na bázi účelového vzniku ettringitu / Assessment of physico-mechanical properties and durability of binder concepts based on purposeful creation of ettringitu

Pupíková, Petra January 2012 (has links)
Masters`s thesis deals with study of binder concept based on purposeful creation of ettringite, assessment of physic-mechanical properties and durability. The teoretical part is the mention of ettringite and his function in building materials, are described binder concepts based on purposeful creation of ettringite and self-levelling screed for which the controlled formation ettringite typical. In the practical part are did analysis of raw materials and the composition of the mixture, including types corrosive environment for the assessment of durability. In addition are checked properties of the proposed mixture and evaluated the appropriateness of use of each type of waste materials with regard to the resulting properties.
