Rios, Adriana Carrillo January 2008 (has links)
In this dissertation we are concerned with the following two classical results on duality: the Cohen-Montgomery duality and the Blattner-Montgomery duality; and we present their corresponding versions in the context of partial action of groups and partial actions of Hopf algebras, respectively. The subject of this dissertation is based on the C. Lomp’s paper: "Duality for partial group actions", arXiv: 0711.0849v1 [math.RA], 2007.

Álgebras de Hopf quase cocomutativas e quasitriangulares

Dylewski, Vanusa Moreira January 2018 (has links)
In this work we present a study of algebras, coalgebras and Hopf algebras, introducing examples and some of its properties. Also, we expand this study presenting almost cocommutative and quasitriangular Hopf algebras, showing that the antipode of these algebras satis es determined conditions.

Hopf algebróides

Silva, Ricardo David Morais da January 2016 (has links)
Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências Físicas e Matemáticas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Matemática Pura e Aplicada, Florianópolis, 2016. / Made available in DSpace on 2016-09-20T04:42:43Z (GMT). The main objective of this work is to dene and exemplify Hopfalgebroids, which are one of the generalizations of Hopf algebras overan noncommutative basis, that is, which are constructed from bimodule sover a ring R, not necessarily commutative. To this end, we also dene and exemplify bialgebroids that are the best generalization ofthe concept of bialgebra. We explore a number of notions equivalent to bialgebroid, as Takeuchi's R-bialgebras. Along this work, we present some results of the theory of bialgebras and Hopf algebras which are extended to the scope of bialgebroids and Hopf algebroids. As an example of an important result, we can mention the fact that the category of modules over a bialgebroid B is monoidal, such that forgetting functor MB - RMR is strictly monoidal and analogous to the case of comodules over bialgebroids. At the end of the work we present the notion of a R-Hopf algebra, proposed by P. Schauenburg, which is amore general concept than of Hopf algebroids.
