Lovni turizam u zaštićenim područjima Vojvodine / Hunting tourism in the protected areas of Vojvodina Province

<p>Predmet Disertacije je lovni turizam u za&scaron;tićenim područjima Vojvodine. Prostor&nbsp; Vojvodine dominantno čine poljoprivredne povr&scaron;ine dok se&nbsp; očuvani prirodni<br />kompleksi &scaron;tite kroz zakonski determinisana za&scaron;tićena područja. Na velikom broju za&scaron;tićenih područja odvijaju se aktivnosti lova i lovnog turizma. Kako Vojvodina tradicionalno ima razvijen lovni turizam u za&scaron;tićenim područjima, ovaj oblik&nbsp; turizma je<br />dominantan a često i jedini oblik turističkih aktivnosti. Odvijanje lova i lovnoturističke aktivnosti u za&scaron;tićenim područjima je, naročito u poslednjih, ne&scaron;to vi&scaron;e od dve<br />decenije, stalan izvor nesuglasica i konflikata. Sa jedne strane su protivnici lova i lovnog turizma koji smatraju da ovim aktivnostima nije mesto na za&scaron;tićenim područjima, dok su sa druge oni koji smatraju da ove aktivnosti nemaju &scaron;tetnih efekata po za&scaron;tićena područja. Postoje i oni koji smatraju da lov i lovni turizam, ukoliko&nbsp; se odvijaju uz po&scaron;tovanje zakonskih odredbi i akta o za&scaron;titi, kao i uz usklađivanje interesa svih<br />korisnika prostora, ne mogu da na&scaron;tete za&scaron;tićenim područjima. U radu su pored analize teorijskih sadržaja koji tretiraju predmetnu problematiku analizirani rezultati ankete ispitanika koji su radno angažovani u za&scaron;tićeni područjima, lovstvu i nevladinim<br />organizacijama koje se bave problematikom za&scaron;tite prirode kao i rezultati intervjua koji su urađeni sa eminentnim stručnjacima iz nave denih oblasti. Takođe je&nbsp; analiziran odnos lova i lovnog turizma na 15&nbsp; odabranih za&scaron;tićenih područja. Op&scaron;ti zaključak ovog<br />istraživanja je da je sprovođenje lovnog turizma u za&scaron;tićenim područjima Vojvodine moguće, opravdano i celishodno pod uslovom da se sprovodi u skladu sa naučnim standardima i relevantnim zakonskim propisima.</p> / <p>The Dissertation topic is hunting tourism in the protected areas of Vojvodina Province. Vojvodina region predominantly consists of agricultural areas while preserved natural complexes are protected through legally established protected areas. In a large number of protected areas there are activities of hunting and hunting tourism. As Vojvodina has traditionally developed hunting tourism in protected areas, this form of tourism is dominant and often the only aspect of touristic activities. The activities of hunting and hunting tourism in the protected areas are, especially in a few recent decades, a constant source of disagreements and conflicts. On the one hand there are opponents to hunting and tourist hunting who claim that protected areas are not&nbsp; the place for these activities at all, while on the other hand there are those who believe that these activities do not have any harmful effect on the protected areas. There are also those who think that hunting and hunting tourism, if enforced while respecting the law and the protection&nbsp; act, as well as with compromising the interest&nbsp; of all users of the region, that they cannot do any harm to the protected areas. Besides the analysis of the theoretical contents which deal with the issues on the subject, the work also analyses the results of a poll given by respondents who were hired to work in protected areas, in hunting and non-government organisations which deal with the problem of environment protection, and also analyses the results of the interviews made with eminent experts in the mentioned fields. Furthermore the ratio between hunting and hunting tourism was analysed in 15 selected protected areas. General conclusion of this research is that enforcement of hunting tourism in the protected areas of Vojvodina is&nbsp; possible, justified and expedient, if and only if it is enforced in accordance with the scientific standards and relevant law.</p>

Кинолошки аспекти ловног туризма у Србији / Kinološki aspekti lovnog turizma u Srbiji / Cynological aspects of hunting tourism in Serbia

<p>Циљ докторске дисертације је да прикаже везу између кинологије, ловног туризма и других облика туризма, а ова проблематика није досад обрађивана у домаћој и страној литератури. Анализом садржаја и карактеристика пролећних, јесењих и свестраних узгојних испита ловачких паса представљен је значај ловачких паса у&nbsp; ловним активностима, а анализа резултата рада немачких оштродлаких паса, као свестрано употребљивих ловачких паса, на пролећним и јесењим узгојним испитима одржаним у Србији у периоду од 2006. до 2013. године показала је колико је популација ових паса у Србији способна да допринесе ловнотуристиким активностима. Резултати анкетних истраживања спроведених међу&nbsp; српским ловцима,&nbsp; домаћим и иностраним учесницима кинолошких манифестација, као и међу српским кинолошким судијама, допринели су&nbsp; схватању значаја и утицаја организовања и одржавања кинолошких манифестација на ловно-туристичка кретања и туристичка кретања уопште у Србији и дала смернице организаторима кинолошких манифестација&nbsp; за&nbsp; побољшање&nbsp; понуде тј. организације и спровођења манифестација, као и туристичким посленицима у местима одржавања кинолошких манифестација у&nbsp; проналажењу конкретних смерница у креирању и побољшавању укупне туристичке понуде и ефеката туристичке потрошње.</p> / <p>Cilj doktorske disertacije je da prikaže vezu između kinologije, lovnog turizma i drugih oblika turizma, a ova problematika nije dosad obrađivana u domaćoj i stranoj literaturi. Analizom sadržaja i karakteristika prolećnih, jesenjih i svestranih uzgojnih ispita lovačkih pasa predstavljen je značaj lovačkih pasa u&nbsp; lovnim aktivnostima, a analiza rezultata rada nemačkih oštrodlakih pasa, kao svestrano upotrebljivih lovačkih pasa, na prolećnim i jesenjim uzgojnim ispitima održanim u Srbiji u periodu od 2006. do 2013. godine pokazala je koliko je populacija ovih pasa u Srbiji sposobna da doprinese lovnoturistikim aktivnostima. Rezultati anketnih istraživanja sprovedenih među&nbsp; srpskim lovcima,&nbsp; domaćim i inostranim učesnicima kinoloških manifestacija, kao i među srpskim kinološkim sudijama, doprineli su&nbsp; shvatanju značaja i uticaja organizovanja i održavanja kinoloških manifestacija na lovno-turistička kretanja i turistička kretanja uopšte u Srbiji i dala smernice organizatorima kinoloških manifestacija&nbsp; za&nbsp; poboljšanje&nbsp; ponude tj. organizacije i sprovođenja manifestacija, kao i turističkim poslenicima u mestima održavanja kinoloških manifestacija u&nbsp; pronalaženju konkretnih smernica u kreiranju i poboljšavanju ukupne turističke ponude i efekata turističke potrošnje.</p> / <p>The aim of the dissertation is to show the relationship between&nbsp; cynology, hunting tourism and other forms of tourism. The importance of using hunting dogs in hunting activities is presented by&nbsp;&nbsp; analyzing the content and characteristics of spring, autumn and versality breeding tests for hunting dogs. One of the task was to determine the quality German wirehaired pointers population in Serbia and its capability to&nbsp; contribute hunting and touristic activities in Serbia. For the purpose of the study, surveys were conducted among&nbsp; serbian hunters, local and foreign participants of kennel events, as well as the Serbian kennel judges and hunters. Results could contribute to the understanding of the importance and impact of the dog event organization and maintenance on hunting tourism trends and the tourist industry in general. Results of the study could, be helpful to dog event organizers and tourism workers in destination for improving organization of events and finding specific guidelines in creating and improving tourist offer.<br />&nbsp;</p>

Pernata divljač kao deo lovno-turističke ponude Vojvodine / Game birds in Vojvodina as a part of hunting-touristic offer

<p>Većina zemalja koje imaju uslove za razvoj turizma zalažu se za dovođenje &scaron;to većeg broja turista. Zbog ovoga, inostrani lovni turizam u Vojvodini, prevashodno na pernatu divljač počinje da se razvija krajem pedesetih i početkom &scaron;ezdesetih godina, da bi ekspanziju doživeo krajem sedamdesetih pa do početka devedesetih godina. U periodu od početka &scaron;ezdesetih pa do kraja osamdesetih godina, lovni turizam je imao, pored povećanja broja inostranih lovaca, i povećanje odstrela pernate divljači. Međutim, od početka devedesetih godina pa do danas broj turista je smanjen iz poznatih razloga. Lovačke organizacije su zbog nedostatka lovnog turizma ostale bez značajnijih sredstava a time i mnogo manje ulagale u lovi&scaron;ta. Lovnim turizmom u Vojvodini su se lovačke organizacije bavile vi&scaron;e od četrdeset godina. Od lovno turističkih organizacija koje su pioniri u ovom poslu svakako treba istaći &quot;Lovoturs&quot; koji je u ovoj oblasti prisutan vi&scaron;e od četrdeset godina. Ovaj rad predstavlja doprinos savremenim istraživanjima iz oblasti lovnog turizma Vojvodine i čitave na&scaron;e zemlje. U Vojvodini postoje potencijali koji su podstakli lovno turističku privredu, a za Vojvodinu je najznačajniji lovni turizam. U Vojvodini postoje potencijali koji su podstakli lovno-turističku ponudu koja se odvijala intenzivno od kraja &scaron;ezdesetih pa do kraja osamdesetih godina.</p> / <p>Most of the countries with conditions for tourism development are supporting bringing as much tourists as possible. Foreign hunting tourism began to develop in Vojvodina, mostly to game birds, at the end of the 50s and the beginning of the 60s and reached its peak between the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 90s. In the period between the beginning of the 60s and the end of the 80s, hunting tourism have noted, apart of increase of foreign tourists number, an increased catch of game birds. But after beginning of 90s number of tourists had decreased due to well-known reasons. Hunters organizations were left without significant resources and consequently invested less in the hunting grounds. Hunters&amp;apos; organizations in Vojvodina have been in hunting tourism for more than 40 years. From pioneers in this business, the &quot;Lovoturs&quot; must be mentioned, as organization being present in hunting tourism for over 40 years. &quot;Lovoturs&quot; is considered a pioneer in development of hunting tourism in Vojvodina, especially on game birds and a specialized house with considerable results in this field. This work is a contribution to contemporary investigation in a field of hunting tourism in Vojvodina and in the whole country. The main reason is that one of the Republic of Serbia&amp;apos;s strategic directions of development is aimed at tourist economy, and in Vojvodina the hunting tourism is most important part of it. Vojvodina has potentials encouraging hunting-touristic offer intensively from the end of the &amp;apos;60s to the end of the &amp;apos;80s.</p>

<p>Услови који владају у одређеном станишту дивљачи (ловишту) зависе од многих фактора. Ти фактори су храна, вода, тло, вегетација, мир у ловишту, клима и др. Основни предуслов одрживог газдовања ловиштем је и адекватна оцена свих фактора. То се ради у поступку бонитирања на основу чега се даље раде пројекције капацитета ловишта. У основи ове докторске дисертације је да у процес бонитирања укључи географске информационе системе. То подразумева приказ новог метода бонитирања који би користио ГИС. У оквиру дисертације је приказана методологија методе бонитирања применом ГИС-а, као и његова примена у истраживаном подручју - равничарском ловишту &bdquo;Капетански рит&ldquo; Кањижа. На крају су презентовани резултати о анализи и оцени сваког од фактора, као и о могућој примениприликом утврђивања капацитета ловишта.</p> / <p>Uslovi koji vladaju u određenom staništu divljači (lovištu) zavise od mnogih faktora. Ti faktori su hrana, voda, tlo, vegetacija, mir u lovištu, klima i dr. Osnovni preduslov održivog gazdovanja lovištem je i adekvatna ocena svih faktora. To se radi u postupku bonitiranja na osnovu čega se dalje rade projekcije kapaciteta lovišta. U osnovi ove doktorske disertacije je da u proces bonitiranja uključi geografske informacione sisteme. To podrazumeva prikaz novog metoda bonitiranja koji bi koristio GIS. U okviru disertacije je prikazana metodologija metode bonitiranja primenom GIS-a, kao i njegova primena u istraživanom području - ravničarskom lovištu &bdquo;Kapetanski rit&ldquo; Kanjiža. Na kraju su prezentovani rezultati o analizi i oceni svakog od faktora, kao i o mogućoj primeniprilikom utvrđivanja kapaciteta lovišta.</p> / <p>Game habitat quality depends on numerous natural and human-induced conditions. Recent researches have determined that available food, land cover, human&nbsp; disturbance, topography and climatic factors are essential factors. Its analysis is necessary for sustainable management of natural areas, including hunting grounds as game habitat. Hunting is an activity that is closely associated with forestry, water management, agriculture, tourism, etc. GIS is widely applied in the above-mentioned&nbsp; activities and therefore in the field of hunting. Past practice has shown that the classical methods for evaluating habitat factors involve a lot of subjectivity and often leads to unrealistic determination of hunting ground capacity. The aim of this dissertation is to assess evaluation of the essential factors fordetermination the capacity of hunting ground. Instead of the classical analyses, project proposes assessment of this factor using Geographic Information System (GIS) which have never been used for this purpose in hunting ground before. Researched area was hunting ground &ldquo;Kapetanski rit&rdquo; &ndash; Kanjiža, Serbia. Comparing classical methods for evaluating habitat factors and use of GIS for this purposes, obtained results indicate to adventages of new imrpoved GIS methodology<br />&nbsp;</p>

types of tourism. For these reasons, in order to more closely meet the needs of tourist-hunters, but also and hunting staff, it is necessery to apply geographic information technologies to hunting tourism. The subject of thesis is the application of geographic information technologies in hunting tourism in Vojvodina.Precisely, the work includes application of GIS and GPS in several separate segments of the hunting economy. Thus, the study presents the application of these technologies in the hunting ground &quot;Apatinski rit&quot;, in the reservation for red deer within the National Park &quot;Fruska Gora&quot;, and hunting grounds of hunting associations in Vojvodina. The paper deals with the use of geographic information technologies in the areas of harvesting and protection of the game animals, hunting ground management, hunting tourism, and in the field of promotion of this kind of tourism. The research results may help further for the study of cause-effect relationship between hunting tourism and hunting resource of destination, in order to design and proper placement of hunting tourism.</p>

Des voyages de la fin du XVIIIe siècle au tourisme cynégétique contemporain, les relations entre l’Europe et le continent africain ont été marquées par la pratique de la chasse. Le terme safari, qui désigne la formalisation dans une activité codifiée de ces séjours de chasse, suffit à incarner une certaine image romantique de l’Afrique sauvage. À travers une ethnographie dans des zones de chasse du nord du Bénin et l’analyse de sources textuelles et iconographiques diverses, il s’agit d’interroger le sens que donnent les chasseurs d’hier et d’aujourd’hui à leur engouement pour le safari de chasse. Lié historiquement au colonialisme, celui-ci peut être interprété comme une forme symbolique d’appropriation, à travers la mise en trophée de l’animal, d’un continent réduit à sa nature sauvage. Mais cette conquête, malgré sa facilité apparente, nécessite toutefois une contextualisation permettant d’actualiser des représentations du sauvage : y compris dans sa version commerciale, le safari ne peut se réduire à l’acquisition d’un trophée à prix d’argent. Les chasseurs associent de plus à leur pratique tout un discours de légitimation tournant autour de l’éthique de la chasse, qui emprunte, de nos jours, à des registres humanitaires ou écologistes. Si le tourisme cynégétique est relativement marginal et contesté dans le monde occidental contemporain, les représentations qui l’accompagnent et le fantasme d’un sauvage à conquérir incarné par le continent africain semblent, pour leur part, particulièrement répandus. / Hunting has had a prominent place in the relations between Europe and the African continent, from the expeditions of the end of the 18th century through to contemporary hunting tourism. The word safari alone, which refers to the formalisation within a codified activity of these hunting trips, evokes a fairly romantic image of wild Africa. Using data from an ethnography in the hunting areas of north Benin, and with the analysis of various textual and iconographic documents, it is worth questioning the meaning that hunters of yesterday and today give to the their infatuation for safari hunting. Historically linked to colonialism, safari hunting can be interpreted as a kind of symbolical appropriation, in the shape of the hunting trophy, of a continent reduced to its wildness. This kind of conquest, however, in spite of its apparent ease, calls for a contextualisation to actualise the representations of the wild; even in its commercial version, a safari cannot be reduced to acquiring a paid-for trophy. Hunters furthermore link their activities to a legitimising discourse revolving around the ethics of hunting, a discourse which, nowadays, borrows from humanitarian or ecological discourses. Even though, on the one hand, hunting tourism is relatively marginal and controversial in the contemporary western world, the representations that go with it and the fantasy of a wilderness to be conquered – embodied by the African continent – are, on the other hand, particularly widespread.

A la rencontre de l'animal sauvage : dynamiques, usages et enjeux du récréotourisme faunique

Historiquement, les animaux sauvages ont toujours représenté une ressource pour les hommes, assurant la sécurité alimentaire des sociétés locales et traditionnelles. L’exploitation touristique de la faune implique dès lors une évolution dans les modes de vie, la culture et les identités locales. L’objectif de cette recherche doctorale est d’analyser le récréotourisme faunique. Les activités récréotouristiques autour de la faune sauvage traduisent une requalification de la ressource faune, ce qui a des impacts à la fois sur les espaces humains et non humains, les jeux de construction territoriale et sur les rapports développés à la faune sauvage. Ce travail analyse les rapports que les sociétés entretiennent avec la faune sauvage à travers les activités récréotouristiques de chasse et de vision. Ces deux formes de tourisme sont généralement opposées car le tourisme de vision est présenté comme un usage non-consomptif de la ressource alors que le tourisme de chasse est reconnu comme un usage consomptif de la ressource. Dépassant certaines idées reçues sur les pratiques de la chasse et une approche manichéenne entre ces différentes activités, il convient d’interroger les distinctions et / ou le rapport dialogique entre ces pratiques. Afin de conduire cette recherche, le choix d’une analyse comparative a été retenu, laquelle se propose de mettre en perspective différentes études de cas en France et au Canada. Ce travail comparatif permet de mieux comprendre les enjeux touristiques et territoriaux associés à la gestion de la faune sauvage et de penser la transférabilité des processus observés entre différents terrains d’études. D’un point de vue méthodologique, ce travail doctoral nous a conduite à définir un cadre analytique organisé autour de quatre entrées croisant des (i) aspects conceptuels, (ii) l’analyse d’archives, (iii) des méthodes d’observation ainsi que (iv) des outils d’analyse des rapports homme / faune via l’analyse de discours des populations touristiques. La première partie de ce travail présente le contexte théorique de l’étude et la démarche systémique de cette recherche (chapitre 1, 2 et 3). En termes de résultat, ces présupposés méthodologiques et théoriques nous ont permis d’analyser comment les dynamiques du récréotourisme faunique agissent, réagissent et rétroagissent sur l’ensemble du système territorial. Ainsi, la deuxième partie interroge l’organisation socio-spatiale des activités récréotouristiques de chasse et de vision (chapitre 4 et 5). Ces différentes formes de tourisme sont analysées en prenant en compte l’implantation de ces activités au sein des territoires, les attentes touristiques de la part des visiteurs, et les effets des différentes pratiques sur les populations fauniques. La troisième et dernière partie s’intéresse à l’évolution des rapports hommes / faune sauvage dans le temps et l’espace au regard des activités récréotouristiques développées. Le chapitre 6 s’intéresse aux rapports dialectiques entre processus de patrimonialisation et les usages acceptés ou non de la ressource faunique, alors que le chapitre 7 propose une réflexion sur les rapports hommes / animaux à l’échelle de l’individu en interrogeant l’éthique de chacun dans ses usages, ses comportements et ses pratiques développés autour de la faune sauvage. / Historically, wildlife has always been a resource for mankind by ensuring food safety to local and traditional societies. Wildlife tourism represents an evolution in the use of wildlife and affects livelihoods, culture and the local identities. The aim of this PhD research is to have a better understanding of what is wildlife tourism. This specific tourism causes a requalification of the resource, which has some impacts on human and non-human spaces, on the territorial building processes and on the relationship between men and animals. This research focuses particularly on these issues by studying wildlife viewing tourism and sport hunting tourism. These two kinds of tourism are usually in conflict because wildlife tourism is viewed as a non-consumptive tourism whereas hunting tourism is viewed as a consumptive tourism. Going beyond some common preconceptions on these different tourisms, we question the differences and/or the dialogical relationship between these practices. To conduct this research, we chose to lead a comparative analysis putting into perspective different case studies in France and in Canada. This comparative work allows a better understanding of tourism and territorial stakes linked to wildlife tourism and it allows to reflect on the transferability of processes observed between different fieldworks. From a methodological point of view, we have defined a framework to analyse wildlife tourism. This framework is based on conceptual aspects, analysis of archives, observation methods and discourse analysis. The first part of this work presents the theoretical context and introduces the systemic approach of this research (chapter 1, 2 and 3). These methodological and theoretical presuppositions are used to analyse how wildlife tourism dynamics act, react and retroact on the whole territorial system. The second part questions the socio-spatial organisation of wildlife viewing and hunting tourisms (chapters 4 and 5). These forms of tourisms are studied taking into account the settlement of these activities on space, the visitors’ expectations and the impacts on wildlife populations. The third and last part discusses the evolution of the relationship between humans and wildlife in time and space according to the tourism activity. Chapter 6 looks at the dialectical link between heritage processes and the uses of wildlife resource that are accepted or not, whereas chapter 7 suggests a reflection on human / animal interaction at the individual level questioning the people’s ethic in their use, behaviour and habits developed around wildlife.

Podnikatelský koncept zařízení lovecké turistiky - Plzeňský kraj / Business koncept of facilities of hunting tourism - Pilner region

The general aim of my diploma thesis was to create a business concept of facilities of hunting tourism in the Pilsner region. Klatovské rybářství, a.s. was selected as a cooperative company, which deals with agricultural activities, especially fish and poultry breeding. The company operates some services of hunting tourism, but it is not the main field. The thesis will serve as a manual for "non-experts" who are interested in expanding their range of travel services. The resulting business concept will consequently be presented to the management of the company in order to demonstrate how the company can further develop. While writing this thesis I got several perspectives on the issue of hunting tourism in the area. The first view was provided by the existing clients of the company who filled in questionnaires which were designed to determine their interest in these services. In addition, three representatives were selected from age groups who were asked for ideas about how the device should look. Another view was obtained through an interview with the director of the company and the employee responsible for the current planning and management of hunting activities. Next view on the issue of hunting tourism, which should be independent, was provided by an employee of Infocentre Bor. Here it was revealed that hunting tourism is not popular with everyone and that it is a rather controversial topic. However, we can say that if done correctly and with concern for the countryside, it can bring many benefits to the given region. These include attracting visitors of other segments of the society, the development of the region, expansion of tourism services and expansion of cooperation between entrepreneurs. Last view was represented by my own experience that I gained during working participation in hunting tourism events. At the beginning of my diploma thesis I determined three working hypotheses. All available resources helped me to evaluate the present circumstances and I can confirm all three hypotheses. The general aim was to create a business concept of facilities of hunting tourism in the Pilsner region. I was able to realize the general aim thanks to the cooperation with the company and by means of utilizing all available information. Now the diploma thesis will be handed over to the management for consideration and possible implementation
