The first part of work examines Spanish postmodern literature after 1975 and its characteristics which can be found in the work of Millás. Identita členů evangelického reformovaného sboru v Zelově / Identity of the Czech Evangelical Reformed Congregation members in Zelow

Kučerová, Barbara January 2016 (has links)
Based on field research among Czechs living abroad, the diploma thesis introduces the offsprings of the Czech 18th -century exile, members of the Evangelical Reformed Church in Poland, is. While the community decreased due to massive re-emigration after the Second World War, at first it remained endogamous. Eventually though, interfaith marriages with Polish Catholics increased and language usage shifted. However, offsprings of Czechs from Zelów who stayed true to the reformed faith still maintain and pass on their faith which is the main part of their identity even nowadays. Furthermore, some of them still adhere to their Czech origins. They established the Association of Czechs in Poland in 2010 and then the Czech Club in Zelów. This study refers to how members of the Evangelical Reformed congregation in Zelów see their own identity and the existence of mixed marriages within the community of the congregation.

Změny v časování klíčení způsobené interakcemi se sousedními semeny vzhledem k vlastnostem druhů. / Changes in timing of germination caused by neighbouring seeds and how it is connected with species traits.

Kos, Pavel January 2017 (has links)
The time when the seed germinates is very important. Ability to change the time of germination may be very advantageous. It allows the emerging seed to choose the best time according to abiotic conditions, and also to avoid of competition with neighbouring individuals. The seed reacts not only on adult plants and seedlings, but also on other seeds, with which is able to communicate. For a better understanding to this mechanism I conducted an experimental study with twenty-six species. The species were selected according to their position in long succession seres of mesic/xeric abandoned fields in Český kras. The seeds were left to germinate in pairs in all combinations among them. Here I present the results where I show how the time of emergence changes, depending on presence of neighbouring seed. Also, I show how these changes in germination are related to species specific traits. Out of this, I tried to influence communication between seeds by adding activated carbon. Activated carbon should stop the communication by highly absorbing surface. The time of germination of seeds which germinated alone was not proportional to the time of germination of seeds which germinated with neighbours. This correlation showed up like nonlinear, late-emerging seeds emerging unproportionally later when emerging...

"Heimat in Ketten": Vývoj ideové konstrukce německého hraničářského románu v době První republiky / "Heimat in Ketten": Development of ideological construction of german borderland novel in the First Republic

Pípalová, Anna January 2017 (has links)
(in English) The presented diploma thesis analyzes German borderland novels (Grenzlandroman) of the interwar period, namely Robert Hohlbaum's Grenzland (1921), Rudolf Haas' Heimat in Ketten (1924), Das Dorf an der Grenze (1936) by Bruno Nowak, writing under the pseudonym Gottfried Rothacker, and Die Brüder Tommahans (1937) by Wilhelm Pleyer. As a literary genre, the borderland novel took conflict between nations as its central theme, while addressing contemporary or recent social evolution. German borderland novels from interwar Czechoslovakia give evidence of how not only the authors but also the whole social groups reflected societal changes in the aftermath of 1918. An analysis of the narratives typical of this segment of literature confirms its relevance to the formation of the German population's identity in interwar Czechoslovakia. Stereotyping mechanisms play a crucial role in instilling abstract notions of nationality in the everyday perception of ordinary people. The borderland novels' narrative practices contribute to the reconstruction and fixation of this stereotypical perception of reality. This perception not only affects the way individuals and social groups view their surrroundings, but also interferes with the interpretation of events. Analysis of the selected texts enables us to...

Strategická komunikace firem na Instagramu / Strategic brand communication on Instagram

Marková, Kateřina January 2017 (has links)
The main objective of this master thesis is to describe the way Czech brands are using Instagram in their strategic communications. Instagram allows brands to share information about their products, communicate with fans and to gather feedback. This two-way communication also influences the development of a brand identity. The theoretical frame focuses on concepts related to strategic brand communications on Instagram and it describes tools and features that can be used in this process. Collaboration with influencers is also mentioned as one of the crucial strategies. Qualitative research was conducted using in-depth interviews with curators and strategists responsible for Czech brand accounts on Instagram. The sample consists of six brand accounts, representing various industries (fashion, car industry, photo products, electronics, food and FMCG). The data obtained from these interviews were divided into six groups where the role of Instagram, content creation, hashtags, the use of Instagram features, collaboration with influencers and future predictions were mainly emphasized. The results of this thesis could potentially serve as an inspiration and recommendation for smaller companies or brands that just started using Instagram in their communication plan.

Média jako zprostředkovatel národního sebevědomí: analýza vítězství československých hokejistů na mistrovství světa 1947 / Media

Mareš, Michael January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Media as an Agent of National Self-Confidence: Analysis of the Victory of the Czechoslovak Ice Hockey Players at the 1947 World Championship" deals with the reflection of the major sport event in the Czechoslovak media and how this reflection inspired the audience. The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the dependance between the media coverage and the national self-confidence, which results from the national identity. Therefore, I focused on the chosen newspaper titles to analyze the content they produced during the 1947 Ice Hockey World Championship. I defined a hypothesis, based on observation and scholarly literature, that the media used the coverage to strengthen the national self-confidence and redefine the national identity. My second hypothesis was the idea, that this kind of coverage led to an active response among the audience. Before I started analyzing the three chosen titles (Lidova demokracie, Rude Pravo, Prace), I delivered complex structure of theoretical concepts, describing the influence media have towards the audience and also reasons why the members of the audience use media in their everyday life. I also focused on the historical and political context, as well as the media landscape that shaped the content of that time. I conducted the analysis and...

Tommy Wieringa jakožto autor (pro) 21. století: spisovatel uvnitř a vně literárního provozu / Tommy Wieringa as a 21st century author: the writer within and outside the publishing sphere

Vítek, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
(English) The aim of this master thesis is to analyse the fiction of Tommy Wieringa, specifically in relation to the concept of the posture developed by Jérôme Meizoz. The distinction between the internal posture and the external posture is essential in this theory. Therefore, there can arise a tension between both images of the author (i.e., in the terminology of Daniël Rovers, between auteursfiguur and figuurauteur). This thesis is based on the question if this statement is valid in case of the work of Wieringa. Keywords: Wieringa, author's posture, author's image, literary identity, self-fashioning, authorship, the literary field
