This thesis deals with designing of an induction heating of small iron parts. This device should be primarily designed for a farrier practice or an artistic blacksmithing. Considering the practice, the referential heated iron part will be a horseshoe. The basis of this device is a power inverter with serial resonant circuit connected to inverter as a load. This thesis contains designing and development of electrical and mechanical parts of whole device. It means control circuits, resonant circuit, box for heated part, etc. At the end of this thesis is realization of the device, electrifying, optimization and testing. During the test the horseshoe was heated close to demanded temperature.

The device design is based on simulation results from the FEMM program, with which a focussing coil for induction heating has been designed. The parts of the thesis are the realization of the designed device, its putting into operation and the programming of the control.

This experimental diploma thesis investigates the changes in the metrological characteristics of the electromagnetic current meter of velocity. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a brief summary of technical and metrological characteristics of these types of devices. In addition, it describes the tested device, the test track, and the measurement procedure, which consists of two variants: long-term monitoring with a relatively regular monthly measurement interval and short-term monitoring with a regular daily measurement interval. The evaluation of the experimental work focuses on the repeatability and variability of the displayed point speed values and their stability over time. Furthermore, the parameters reported by the meter during long-term and short-term monitoring are compared to each other. The results are also compared with similar experiments.

This Diploma thesis deals with design of for power factor correction device for mid-frequency-range induction heating and also with assessment of correction device influence in harmonically distorted environment from the distribution net point of view. Research chapters contain of main characteristics of electrical power quality and theoretical background of reactive power, which is in our case caused by driven non-linear elements. Further, the heating power supply block is explained and simulations of power consumption in Matlab - Simulink is done, within the prove of corrective tools design. After the build of corrective tool assemblies, measurements are matched with the simulation results.

The first two chapters are devoted to general issues relating to the Achilles tendon and brings important insights that are required for subsequent practical part. To the practical part is also devoted the following chapter. The first chapter is more of a medical nature. It explains the function and location of the Achilles tendon. Above all, the nature of the examination. Then follow chapters dealing with the assembly of functional devices for sensing the Achilles tendon reflex. This section begins in the third chapter discusses the preparation and block diagrams for the sensor and its technical solutions. The following chapter is about constructing electrical circuits, calculation of component values for the device of Achilles tendon reflex. The fifth chapter deals with the ability to view the scanned signal and the final chapter is devoted to measurements of the device on a group of volunteers.

This work is dedicated to small distance contact-less measurement. Especially the surface detection of the commutator or collector of the electrical machines was described. The probes utilising the induction principle of the distance measurement have been developed. The part of the work described the history of the induction distances sensing in FEEC BUT and the using of the induction principle in the industry small distances sensing nowadays. The paper concretely determines the possibilities of the small distances measurement using mentioned probes. The sensitivity for different materials was investigated and the error of the measurement for different measuring object was investigated, too. The effects, that could affected the measurement error, were described in the work. The contribution of the each effect for the total measuring error was specified. Next part is including the description of the measuring workstation and of the hardware and software. At the end the verification of the measuring principle and measuring workstation is presented. The verification has been made on three different commutator types. The verification results are in the conclusion.

The aim of this work is optimalisation of induction furnace in foundry for company PROMET FOUNDRY a.s. The company has two induction furnances. There are installed as identical construction. They have 2 modes of operation. First mode is founding and second mode is mode, where is temperature in maintain mode. Only one induction furnance can work in the founding mode at a time though. Inducion furnances are in the single-phase connection and they cause unbalance in the distribution network. Near the foundry there is a small network area whitch it is operated by company Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. The consumption of electrical energy in foundry so big, that in the year 2009 was made elaborate for Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. It was write at Laboratoře diagnostiky výkonů (Laboratory of performance diagnostics), which is a part of Electrotechnic Department at Technical Univarsity of Ostrava. The ordered study was named “Verification of causes of increased reactive energy consumption during transition from electricity delivery to electricity consumption”. The conclusion of this assignment confirms that in distribution network in the Jiráskova area in Vsetín there is unbalance of electrical energy and there is high part of reactive power. The next conclusion is crucial to find the customer who made the unbalance and to set relevant remedy. The last step will be the identification whether such device can actually be effectively balanced. It was subsequently proved that the Promet Foundry was causing the unbalance and that balanced consumption would be reasonable. Promet Foundry thus addressed Autel a.s. company with an inquiry to make a study of removing the causes of the unbalance which is caused by current induction furnaces operation at a minimum possible cost, least possible influence on the performance and minimum construction changes concerning the building. In this thesis there will be some topics. The result of which will be introducing of used heating technology, introducing of company and of effective plant performance and subsequent suggestions of possible unbalance removal or reactive power decrease. Several ways which are being implemented in the industry in order to balance consumption will be described. A suitable balancing plant will be subsequently chosen and its parameters will be calculated.

This thesis deals with numerical solution of an integral equation of the second kind with special singular kernel function related to induction heating. The numerical solution is based on collocation and Nyström methods. The idea of collocation methods is to choose a finite-dimensional space of candidate solutions (usually polynomials up to a certain degree). The Nyström methods are based on approximation of the integral in equation by numerical integration rule. This thesis describes and gives error estimates of both methods. Error estimates are compared to the exact solutions in simple cases.

There are lot of accessible methods like best applicable reflect method inductive, based on change inductivity and method capacitive, based on change capacities tabular condenser. Capacitive sensing should be realized by the plate couple, where stiring electrode supplies signal.Sensing electrode receiving this signal. On the basis changes thorough electrostatic field measures change capacities. By the changes capacities fit algorithm we can evaluate, whether is in sensing field visible foreign subject – dart. For capacitive method is also designed driving and scanning unit. Various method were to be laboratory tested and was achieved satisfactory results.
