Změna parametrů výbojových světelných zdrojů s frekvencí napájecího proudu / Influence of Change in Frequency of the Supply Current to the Operational Parameters of the Discharge Light SourcesKuptsov, Alexander January 2014 (has links)
The master’s thesis is devoted to exploiting of gas-discharge lamps and their dependence on frequency of the supply current. The first part describes the theory of discharge, its types and properties, terms of its origin, and ways of its exploitation. The second part concerns electrical ballast systems of gas discharge light sources, inductive (reactive) and electronic ballasts, principles of their functioning, advantages and disadvantages, and the comparison of their properties. The following chapters deal with low-pressure and high-pressure gas-discharged lamps, compare their properties and describe exploitation of fluorescent lamps. Before conducting the experiment we have described the influence of frequency of the supply current on fluorescent tube lamps. Preparations for laboratory measuring have been also implemented. During the experiment the two types of lamps have been analyzed, the results of the research are summed up in the conclusion.

Klimatizace administrativní budovy / Air - conditioning of office buildingBirhanzl, Petr January 2011 (has links)
The thesis describes the various ventilation and air conditioning systems used to maintain suitable, temperature-humidity parameters of air in office buildings. The thesis deals with their advantages and disadvantages and assessing the suitability of using several systems for the application. The main task is to choose the most suitable system and it's calculation. For the actual system design is needed to detect a heat loss and gains the specified object and calculate the minimum amount of ventilation air. There will also be given psychrometric calculation of a device and drawing documentation, including draft of an engine room.

Klasifikace vozidel na základě odezvy indukčních senzorů / Vehicle classification using inductive loops sensorsHalachkin, Aliaksei January 2017 (has links)
This project is dedicated to the problem of vehicle classification using inductive loop sensors. We created the dataset that contains more than 11000 labeled inductive loop signatures collected at different times and from different parts of the world. Multiple classification methods and their optimizations were employed to the vehicle classification. Final model that combines K-nearest neighbors and logistic regression achieves 94\% accuracy on classification scheme with 9 classes. The vehicle classifier was implemented in C++.

Hodnocení stability vybraných rostlinných olejů / Evaluation of stability of selected vegetable oilsNěmečková, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on issues concerning the stability of selected vegetable oils which are used in cosmetic industry. The stability of eight oils without additives were determined by a differential scanning calorimeter. In the first phase, the temperatures of oil degradation were determined for different rates of heating, i.e. nonisothermal stabilities. They were consequetly used to calculate isothermal stabilities alias induction periods. The calculation of induction periods was completed by using integral isoconversional methods, which applied four different temperature functions. One of the temperature functions corresponded to Arrhenius equation while the others to non-Arrhenius functions. The confrontation of induction periods under standart conditions showed that an optimal temperature function to calculate oil stabilities is one of the non-Arrhenius functions in exponential form. We can state that all oils are degraded by similar, if not the same, mechanism. The specified stabilities, in periods of months, have proved the importance of using stabilizers and other additives in the commercial and technological use of vegetable oils.

Indukovaná RNAi proti esenciálním genům metabolismu dusíku jako nástroj pro kontrolu GM rostlin / Inducible RNAi against essential genes of nitrogen metabolism as a tool for control of GM plantsKobercová, Eliška January 2017 (has links)
Uncontrolled spreading of genetically modified (GM) plants is one of the main concerns about their cultivation. Inducible RNA interference against an essential gene could be a tool for control of GM plants. After spraying with a chemical inducer, the essential gene will be silenced so the treated GM plant will die. For testing this strategy we chose two key enzymes of nitrogen metabolism, glutamate synthase (GOGAT) and glutamine synthetase (GS). GS processes ammonium ions into glutamine, then GOGAT transfers the amide group from glutamine to 2-oxoglutarate to form two glutamates. GS/GOGAT cycle is the main pathway for assimilation of ammonium ions, which could be toxic to plants in a higher concentration. Disruption of ammonium assimilation during photorespiration causes a strong inhibition of photosynthesis. The aim of this work was to describe the effects of silencing GOGAT and GS genes in Arabidopsis thaliana. To induce silencing, RNAi hairpin constructs under a control of constitutive or estradiol-inducible promoter were prepared. In selected independent transformants with the inducible hairpin against GOGAT, chlorosis and reduced growth were observed after the estradiol treatment in in vitro conditions. However, the spraying with estradiol was tricky, at the whole plant level, the induction of...
