This diploma thesis is focused on a domestic violence. This topic was chosen to find out wether or not the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia have the appropriate knowledge about this topic. The thesis consists of the theoretical and the practical parts. In the theoretical part, we can find a comprehensive overview of the issue of domestic violence. It is focused on the different forms of violence, the personality of the offender and the victim. One chapter is dedicated to organizations that provide help to victims of domestic violence. There is also given a recommendation on prevention, which helps to avoid many things. In the research part, my goal is to find out the differences in recieved information about the issue of domestic violence from the students of the aforementioned faculties. Two hypotheses related to the goal of the thesis were chosen. In the first one, it is believed that the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia have more information about domestic violence than the students of the Faculty of Economics of South Bohemia University. In the second one, it is assumed that the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences know the organizations that the victims of domestic violence can turn to, the students of the Faculty of Economics do not know these organizations. Based on the statistical evaluation via chi quadrate test, I managed to confirm both hypotheses. In conclusion, it is clear from the results that the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences have extensive knowledge about this issue. Students of the Faculty of Economics have heard about domestic violence, but greater knowledge about the issue has not been proven. They responded quite differently to various types of questions compared to health and socially oriented students. My work could serve students from different faculties to obtain more professional information about domestic violence issues. At the same time it could be used as a suitable source of information for clients of intervention centers, but also for the general public.

L’affaire Guibord a un rôle d’importance au Québec au cours de la deuxième moitié du dix-neuvième siècle. Malgré ceci, ce cas judiciaire se retrouve souvent dans l’ombre du fameux combat entre ultramontains et libéraux. Cette étude démontre le procès Guibord et ses répercussions, exposant la place grandissante du clergé au sein de la société québécoise. On observe une Église catholique ultramontaine triomphante sous la direction de Mgr Bourget, évêque de Montréal. Cette recherche présente d’abord les sources du conflit jusqu’à l’année 1869, lorsque l’Institut canadien de Montréal est condamné par l’Église catholique, peu avant la mort de Joseph Guibord, membre de l’organisation. Une analyse est ensuite faite concernant la question d’excommunication qui l’aurait frappée. Le cas de refus de sépulture étant porté en cour civile, il est alors possible d’observer les décisions des différents tribunaux jusqu’au verdict du Comité judiciaire du Conseil privé à Londres qui tranche en faveur de l’Institut canadien, héritier de la veuve Guibord. Cependant, une émeute aux portes du cimetière catholique, en septembre 1875, va reporter de deux mois son enterrement. L’incident est largement repris dans les journaux d’un bout à l’autre du Canada, mais aussi aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni, révélant l’opinion de sources externes sur l’affaire Guibord et le catholicisme au Québec.

V práci se jedná o roli interního auditu v organizacích a zvlášť v českém bankovnictví, o rozvoji interního auditu. Jednou z kapitol je právní a písemná úprava interního auditu; stručný popis zákonů a Standardů, kterými se praxe interního auditu řídí. Značnou části je podrobný rozbor činnosti následujících institucí: finančního arbitra ČR, bankovního ombudsmana České spořitelny, bankovního ombudsmana Komerční banky. Práce také zahrnuje průzkumy trhu, které byly uskutečněné společnostmi Ernst&Young a PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Czech Republic presides over the European Union in the first half of 2009. The aim of thesis is characteristic of the Institute and its implications for the Czech Republic. This work provides a comprehensive material on the history and importance of the Presidency. It answers to the questions what it yields, how it is carried out due to his preparation for the organization and content, analyzes and evaluates the course of the Czech Presidency in the first three months of the mandate.

The thesis deals with preparation, process, results and evaluation of the first Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The aim of my work is mainly to capture the evolution of statutory minimum wages and unemployment in the European Union and determine whether and under what situations can affect unemployment. The Thesis describes the establishment and gradual extension of the minimum wage over the world. In additional, I deal with legal regulation and its mechanism of implementation of the EU, the Czech Republic is always devoted a separate chapter. Completes the entire Thesis description and subsequent analysis of the impact of minimum wages on employment.

Das Institut für Zeitungsforschung in Dortmund intensiviert seit einigen Jahren die Bestandserhaltung. Hierbei stehen die restauratorischen Maßnahmen – auch in Zusammenspiel durch Förderungsmöglichkeiten der Koordinierungsstelle für die Erhaltung des schriftlichen Kulturguts (KEK) –, das Magazin und die Notfallvorsorgeplanung im Zentrum. Der Beitrag beleuchtet die Maßnahmen und Projekte am Institut vor dem Hintergrund von internationalen und nationalen Standards sowie von etwaigen Kooperationspartnern.
