The thesis focuses on the barriers to the internationalization of SMEs. The theoretical part consists of four chapters outlining the basic theoretical resources necessary for the practical part. The first part explains the nature of internationalization and globalization, the second defines SMEs in the Czech Republic and the European Union, the third section presents the most important and most common barriers to the internationalization of SMEs, the last fourth part provides an overview of the institutions involved in export promotion in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis consists of an analysis sample of four companies that led to the determination of the largest and most common barriers to the internationalization of Czech SMEs.

Nekvindová D. Change Management of Business Strategy and Internationalization of Trading Company, Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to create a complex methodology for the change of business strategy when a company wants to internationalize which will be applicable and utilizable in SMEs. The principles of the theory of change management and project management will be used. The change management will be based on Lewin's Three-Stage Model of Change completed by the project management and risk management, and the situation analysis will help the identification of the company's position. A partial purpose of this thesis is to define conditions of internationalization for enterprises specified above which is closely connected with the change management of business strategy within the European Union. The last part of the thesis is focused on the application of the methodological proposal to a real company under real market conditions.

The diploma thesis deals with the problem of the attitude of small and medium-sized enterprises of textile industry and their factors of success. The aim of the thesis is to identify the differences how Czech internationalized small and medium-sized enterprises and Czech small and medium-sized enterprises operating only on domestic market approach to the factors of success of the internal environment. The first part of the thesis will be focused on the definition of basic concepts related to the small and medium-sized enterprises and the issue of internationalization from available printed and electronic sources. The second part will be focused on primary quantitative and qualitative data processing between small and medium-sized enterprises operating in textile industry. Last but not least, there will be elaborated individual recommendations for Czech small and medium-sized enterprises.

This diploma thesis is focused on the identification of barriers and risks of internationalization processes between small and medium-sized enterprises of engineering sector in Czech Republic. The thesis contains technical terminology related to the internationalization process, internationalization models, internationalization motives as well as risk management. The thesis deals with identification of barriers and risks of internationalization process using questionnaire survey. On that basis the maps of risks and barriers are created. To obtain sufficient information about analyzed problem the thesis is complemented by in-depth interviews that make a contribution to the identification of barriers of international trade, to the determination of the subsequent measures and to the fullfimlent of the objectives of this thesis.

The thesis fetches the overview of achievable support for Czech small and medium enterprises, what can be used as a guide. The profit of this thesis the author brings in the analysis of the Philippines for potential Czech entrepreneurs. Cluster policy is one of the tool for the support of enterprises, what is in European context currently very actual. The analysis of Philippines is applied in a proposal of internationalization study for Czech cluster CREA Hydro&Energy to the Philippines. The internationalization study contains especially identification of an opportunities and a SWOT analysis. The added value of thesis is own experiences of the author achieved during internship in the Philippines. During the internship the author was collaborating with CREA Hydro&Energy on the European cluster association NATUREEF on project Go International.Formula clause:The thesis contains commercially exploitable information obtained and analyzed in collaboration with the cluster manager and financial support cluster CREA Hydro & Energy. Dále je v práci analyzována současná situace na trhu podílových fondů, marketingová strategie rakouských investičních společností a jejich marketingový mix. Důraz je kladen především na hodnocení základního produktu, možnosti jeho adaptace, distribuční cesty a jejich řízení a specifické vlastnosti služeb. Práce shrnuje možnost vzniku strategických oken v oblasti kolektivního investování v ČR a schopnost rakouských investičních společností tento potenciál využít.

Thus, the importance of studying the internationalization process has become with the increasing competitiveness very important. This diploma thesis deals with risk of the internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises that is a process of entry to the foreign markets. Moreover, it deals with what is the role of the European Union in the internationalization process. The goal of the thesis is to identify the risks of the internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises and to find out if the European integration helps small and medium-sized enterprises in this process. The suggested recommendations are intended to show how to support the small and medium-sized enterprises in the internationalization process.

The topic of this diploma thesis is how is the fact that Czech Republic is member of the EU influencing internationalization of Czech SMEs operating in ICT industry. EU has opened and unified the internal market a lot which gave new possibilities of internationalization for member countries. Importance of the topic is also given by the facts that small and medium-sized companies have crucial importance for Czech economy and ICT industry is growing and has crucial influence on increas-ing effectiveness of companies. Sub-goals of the thesis concerns with the motiva-tion, barriers and risks of internationalization process within the EU. Literature review provides insight into globalization and internationalization itself, possibilities and theoretical approaches to internationalization process. In the literature review are also described different theoretical approaches to risks, barriers and motives of internationalization with emphasis on small and medium-sized companies. Next part of the thesis is focused on the situation of SMEs within EU and Czech Republic, on the ICT industry within the EU and Czech, its im-portance and development in Czech Republic and on the own primary research.
