The Master Thesis deals with main topic of Ivestment plan of company XYZ. The investment plan relates to connection water tanks for selected municipality (villages, cities, etc.) and conclusion of this project. The first part is theoretical and the investment plan of a company as the topic of this master thesis is based on these theoretical information. Analysis, statistics, risk analysis, investment project effectiveness and other research methods are set in the middle part. The last part is conclusion of all mentioned data. The result should establish if the investment plan is suitable for this specific company.

Práce analyzuje problémy spojené s předinvestičním hodnocením IS/ICT projektů, zejména v oblasti veřejné správy. Stručně představuje co CBA je a k čemu se používá, spolu s možností jejího využití v IS/ICT oblasti. Nabízí postup zpracování CBA projektu veřejného informačního systému, její obsah a nejdůležitější součásti včetně analýzy rizik, spolu s výslednými ukazateli a jejich vyhodnocením. Prezentuje některé nástroje pro odhad nákladů a přínosů budoucí investice, a hodnotí jejich užitečnost a vhodnost využití. Popisuje hlavní důvody proč by zpracování CBA mohlo být užitečné z pohledu jak dodavatele, tak zákazníka v projektu informačního systému. Stanovuje kritické faktory úspěchu při zpracování analýzy.

Přehled problematiky lidského kapitálu a jeho vliv na hospodářský růst.Odhalení důležité souvislosti mezi systémem finančních toků, v rámci nichž dochází k nabývání lidského kapitálu (konkrétně pak souvislost zejména s problematikou financování terciárního vzdělání), a tím, jak se role lidského kapitálu projevuje i jak ji lze identifikovat či kvantifikovat.

The aim of diploma thesis "The incidences of financial crisis on the firms ability to finance their needs" is to make readers acquainted with alternative methods of financing with foreign capital. Above all, point to the ability of the firm to optimise the capital structure and to minimize costs resulting from foreign capital. Practical part contains the analyse of present and future financial situation of the firm, including the concept of suitable capital structure of chosen company.

Expropriation and investment protection Abstract This dissertation deals with the issue of protection of foreign investments, especially the issue of the expropriation of foreign investments. The basic terms related to investment protection and expropriation are defined. Legal expropriation and its conditions are described at first. In the case of illegal expropriation, the state is forced, besides compensation for expropriation, to cover the damage caused by the unlawful interference. The history of investment protection is briefly presented. The next chapter deals with the legal sources in which we can find conditions of expropriation and investment protection. Attention is paid to the legal regulation of expropriation in Czech law. The thesis also focuses on investment cases, where expropriation was the main issue. Finally, the disputes that are currently brought against Czech Republic by foreign investors are mentioned. The conclusion of the dissertation deals with the problems de lege ferenda and the expected development of the legal regulation. Key words: expropriation, investment protection, investment disputes

The topic of this thesis is evaluation of the total cost of city of Olomouc for the operation of an electric bus in comparison with a diesel bus. The evaluation was based on operating data monitored by the company. The results show that investment in an electric bus pays off only in the case of a subsidy. In conclusion, there is a recommendation for the Dopravní podnik města Olomouce, a.s., which can be used in public transport of other cities.
