Příprava pórobetonu pro tepelně izolační účely / The preparation of cellular concrete for insulating purposes

In these days of economic crisis subsiding, in the civil engineering the attention is pointed especially to the systems, which effectively reduce energy and decrease costs associated with using of residential or industrial premises. Especially the heat-insulating systems are mentioned, because of their characteristics and construction which will be applied economical solutions. It is possible to use the materials based on aerated concrete which excel within construction materials due to its heat-insulating properties. The use of this material for clearly heat-insulations seems to be fully-fledged alternative to standard heat-insulating systems also due to combination of nature character and sufficient strength. This work deals with possibility of preparation non-bearing, heat-insulating material based on autoclaved aerated concrete with volume weight under 200 kg/m3.

Bezpečnostní politika Japonska na přelomu 18. a 19. století / Japan's Defence Policy at the Turn of 18th and 19th Century

This thesis discusses the topic of Tokugawa shogunate defense policy at the turn of 18th and 19th century. This period is defined by the arrival of Adam Laxman's expedition to Japan in 1791 and the year of 1825, which is defined by the adoption of the Edict to Repel Foreign Vessels (ikokusen učiharai rei 異国船打ち払い令) and the publication of the key work of the Confucian scholar Aizawa Seishisai (会沢正志斎, 1782-1863), the New Thesis (Shinron 新論). The aim of the thesis is to analyze in detail the steps of the shogunate government defense policy based on the analysis of specific historical events, and to answer the research questions. Given the topic of the thesis, I consider it necessary to put Japanese defense policy in a broader context. The first two chapters are devoted to the time period that chronologically precedes the period defined in the thesis topic and they analyze Japanese defense policy and foreign relations during the 17th century. Chapter 1 focuses on contacts in the southeast and the roots of Christian missions in Japan. Chapter 2 discusses the shogunate's contacts on the northern border. The following part of the thesis focuses on the intellectual tradition and the spread of the Dutch learning in Japan. This dissertation thesis deals with the measurement of insulation resistance for rotating electrical machines and polarization indices calculated from them. The first part contains a short theoretical introduction, methods of measurement and basic formulas for calculations. The second part discusses the results obtained in laboratory measurements in both the model and the real coil of high voltage machine. There are also elucidated some of the principles and causes of some phenomena with which the measurement of insulation resistance is encountered. The third part deals with the results of measurements on real machines. There are mainly discussed the dependences of insulation resistance and polarization index on the influences that occur in measurements such as temperature measured insulation, moisture in the insulation, but also the influence of measuring instruments on the measured values. It is also expressed how much these factors affect the measurement results. In addition, this part deals with some other influences that have a negative affect on the measurement of insulation resistance. There is processed a new methodology for measuring insulation resistence in the fourth part of this thesis. The need to develop a metodology of measuring is based on the needs of engineering practice, where is considerable inconsistency of measurement in the present time. Measurement, and often performed on the same machine, are not nowadays often comparable, because measurements are not met even the basic rules resulting from the findings of research and development, which were discovered in the last few decades. Measurement of insulation resistance in our nowdays methodology stagnated on the level of the seventies of 20th century. For this reason, we have developed a new methodology of measurement that takes into account all significant influences affecting the measurement. The purpose of the methodology is to ensure full repeatability and comparability of measurements not only on the same machine but on machines of the same type, in optimal cases, the machines of different types. There are the chapters "The objectives of the work" and "Conclusion" the part of the work. A very important chapter is "The contribution of thesis", which summarizes the original results of this work and results, the use of which is expected in engineering practice.

Tomáš Horák, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma paper is focused on morphological aspects of the Sino-Korean lexicon in modern Korean, the main topics are Sino-Korean word-formation and Sino-Korean classification of parts of speech. Hereby considered are the typological differences between Korean, an agglutinative language and Chinese, an isolative-polysyntetic language. The problem with Sino-Korean words is their ambiguity and vagueness, they appear in various grammatical and syntactical functions with their form unchanged. One morpheme can simultaneously function as an affix and root. This paper analyzes forms of function units, it deals with ways of word-formation (composition and derivation). The ways of prefixation and suffixation are researched. Based on the results of this analysis an adequate classification of Sino-Korean parts of speech is aimed to be established. Both the original Korean and the Chinese systems of parts of speech are taken into account but neither of them corresponds with the characterics and functions of the Sino-Korean words. The main aim of the thesis is a detailed economic evaluation of the energy saving measure, which was compared with the original state before the reconstruction. The economic evaluation is based on the physical calculation performed in DEKSoft. The effectiveness of the solution was determined by calculating the discounted payback period based on the estimated energy cost savings in each year of operation and initial investment costs. The work includes the use of a mortgage loan and grant programs as financial resources.

The diploma thesis deals with study of behavior of fibrous organic insulants under greatly reduced pressure (even to vacuum). Development, production and durability of vacuum insulating panels are described in the theoretical part as well as principles of heat transfer. Method for production of core of VIP, created using waste fibers from textile industry and agriculture, is described in the practical part. Verification of behavior during normal and reduced pressure (even to vacuum) was carried out on experimentally made core insulants.

In it´s first part, this presented master´s thesis focuses on the problematics of actions taking place in dielectric materials and phenomenons on the surface of real insulators placed in electric field. This research is followed by selection and rating of appropriate ceramic materials for the actual design of the metal – ceramic assembly. The greatest emphasis is given to design of the optimal configuration of the insulator and electrode, which is supported by simulations from the software that implements finite element method. Eventually, the high voltage tests of the assembly used for measuring leakage currents are performed.

This semestral paper deals with the issues of testing and requirements examinations for cables and cable harnesses. These terms are defined in the work and the difference in their meaning is described. The work also describes the characteristic features of cables and cable harnesses, explains their importance and focuses in more detail on the variable properties that may change over time or that are dependent on manufacturing errors. The principles and procedures of tests of these properties are covered in the work and are the essence of the subsequent practical part. In this part, the work deals with the design of the measuring circuit prototype for testing of the insulation resistance of cables and their desired continuity in bundles. This design is then physically implemented, the processes of designing and implementing are described in detail and finally its functionality is tested and presented to the reader.

This graduation theses in introduction deals with principle and problems of electron signal detection in scanning electron microscopy and charging of insulating specimens in SEM. The experimental part of the thesis describe the methods of qualification and quantification of insulating specimen charging effect observed in environmental scanning electron microscope through the use of ionisation and scintillation detector in dependence on water vapour pressure in specimen chamber. The goal of the thesis is formation of the methodics useful to evaluate charging effect at insulating specimens observing and on the basis of measuring, determine optimal conditions for insulating specimen observation with ionisation and scintillation detector.
