Zkoušky rozprašovacích hlav kapalných paliv / Testing of liquid fuels atomizers

Suchánek, Petr January 2010 (has links)
This thesis is dealing with testing of two atomizers in combustion of liquid fuels and natural gas. There is a simple analysis of problems, principles and methods of atomizing liquids executed. Problem of pneumatic atomizing liquids is also described in detail. In the next chapters there is a plan and running of testing processed. Overall behavior of the atomizers and flame is evaluated from the outcome measurement and the power characteristics of atomizers and influence of GLR on the quality of combustion are determined. Overall rating of the testing is presented in conclusion this thesis.

Spalování kapalných paliv z obnovitelných zdrojů / Combustion of renewable liquid fuels

Nejezchleb, Radek January 2011 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with combustion of liquid biofuels, and possibility of using liquid biofuels for lower heat output power units. Overview of basic usable liquid biofuels in Czech Republic is executed in the beginning of the thesis. This part is focused especially on production method and energy effectivity of rape-oil methyl ester (RME) and bioethanol production. Overview of basic atomization method of liquid fuels is executed in next chapters. The focus is stressed on pneumatic atomization, especially effervescent atomization method, which was used in practical experiment. Practical part contains fossil fuel and selected biofuel (RME) combustion test executed on burner testing device. Basic combustion properties was found and test plan was made before executing the test. Various operating conditions are compared in terms of atomization quality, combustion quality and geometrical characteristics of flame. Usability of tested liquid biofuels for lower heat output power units is evaluated in the conclusion.

Adaptivní simulace rozsáhlého povrchu oceánu / Adaptive Simulation of Large-Scale Ocean Surface

Krijt, Filip January 2014 (has links)
Physically-driven methods of simulating fluid dynamics and frequency-based ocean surface synthesis methods are of long-standing interest for the field of computer graphics. However, they have been historically used separately or without any interaction between them. This thesis focuses on the possibility of combining the approaches into one adaptive solution by proposing methods for unified surface representation, method result blending and one-way interaction between the methods. The thesis also outlines several future developments of the combined method and proposes a level-of-detail approach taking advantage of hardware tessellation that can be used regardless of what method was used for the simulation. Sensor pro analýzu kapalin / Liquid analysis sensor

Hanus, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This thesis deals with the mixing of liquids issues. The simulation of structure for mixing of liquids and evaluation of parametres which have most significant influence on mixing of liquids was made with help of COMSOL programm. In the next section of thesis the quality of electrodes used for cyclic voltammetry made on LTCC by thick layer technology was determined. In the end of this thesis the 3D structure for mixing of liquids was made. The quality of mixing was controlled by cyclic voltammetry.

Optimalizace tvaru mazací mezery hydrodynamického ložiska s využitím metamodelování / Lubricant gap shape optimization of the hydrodynamic thrust bearing using the metamodeling

Přibyl, Jan January 2019 (has links)
The aim of my diploma thesis was to optimize the gap shape of a turbocharger thrust (axial) bearing using the metamodeling. In its first part, the thesis focuses on introduction of optimization and metamodeling, description of different metamodeling techniques and description of a turbocharger with focus on lubrication of thrust bearing. The second part contains a calculation model of flow through the lubrication gap, use of the techniques for compiling a metamodel and the evaluation of individual techniques. Specifically, the methods used are response surfaces and kriging.

Studium proudění na rozhraní nemísitelných kapalin / Study of the flow at the interface of immiscible liquids

Lunda, Filip January 2021 (has links)
This theses deals with flow of two immisible fluid in horizontal pipeline. First part teoretically describes immisible flow. What follows is experimental measurement in wich experimental track was adjusted for inlet of oil from the top. Water and corn germ oil were used as fluids. There were observed many modes of flow on the track. After that PIV was described and measured. PIV was done for measurement of values of velocity vectors. Simulation of one chosen mode was developed in the last chapter. This simulation was done in Ansys Fluent with help of VOF method. Simulation was done both in 3D and 2D pipeline. In the end these simulation were compared with experiment measurement and were critically evaluated.

CFD modelování mísení kapalin v potrubí / CFD modelling of pipe flow mixing of liquids

Pavlíček, David January 2018 (has links)
This work is focused on computational modelling of mixing fluids in pipeline with static mixers. Main objective is to analyze several selected static mixers in a particular industrial application, namely dosing of the aluminium sulphate solution in the clarification process for potable water treatment. The analysis focuses on the degree of mixedness and pressure loss of individual mixers. Further, the aim of this work is to process the search of available types of static mixers. The benefit of this work is at least an effort to motivate the reader to deeper understanding of the mixing fluids, especially by static mixers.

Vytváření kapalinové clony pro absorpci plynných exhalací / Development of a Fluid Curtain for Gaseous Exhalations Absorption

Krištof, Ondřej January 2020 (has links)
The dissertation thesis deals with the application of absorption methods for the separation of gaseous pollutants from polluted gaseous mixtures using a pilot plant scrubber. The efficiency of the gaseous pollutant removal was determined based on the hydrodynamic distribution of fluids inside the spray chamber. A TF-28 150 spiral nozzle, which was used to spray the absorption liquid, was experimentally characterized. Specifically, the pressure impact pattern of the liquid produced by the nozzle was investigated using intrusive methods and the effective spray angles, the modes of primary and secondary atomization, the droplet size and liquid velocity distributions were determined using non-intrusive optical methods. Numerical simulations of flow of model gas phase inside the sprinkler head and spraying of the liquid through the spiral nozzle were also carried out. The obtained data can be applied to estimate the interface area and together with the determination of the coefficient of total mass transfer thus define the kinetics of chemisorption for a given absorbent/absorbate combination.
