Simulace kapalin na GPU / Fluid Simulation Using GPU

Frank, Igor January 2021 (has links)
This thesis focuses on fluid simulation, particularly on coupling between particle based simulation and grid based simulation and thus modeling evaporation. Mentioned coupling is based on the article Evaporation and Condensation of SPH-based Fluids of authors Hendrik Hochstetter a Andreas Kolb. The goal of this thesis is not purely implementing ideas of the mentioned article, but also study of different methods used for fluid simulation.

Problematika nakládání s dešťovými vodami z komunikací / Problems of disposal with rainwater from a communication

Oprchalová, Marie Unknown Date (has links)
Transportation has unfavorably influence on a quality of enviroment. Increase of traffic leads to construction of new motorways and to intensify the traffic on current comunications. A consequence is more polluted hard surfaces, when surface-wash contaminate soil, surface water and underground water. Devices for treating contamined water, such as oil-separators, are very actual in these days. The subject of this thesis was to test the possibilities of increasing effectiveness of mechanical separator for light liquids by installing various types of constructions. Target was to determine effectiveness of this conventional technology, which is energetically and technically simple and find out applicability for first step cleaning and further usage.

Tlakové a rychlostní pulsace kapaliny v tenké válcové oblasti / Pressure and velocity pulsations of liquid in thin cylindrical domain

Oborná, Eliška January 2018 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a dynamic analysis of phenomena occurring in the thin cylindrical region, ie in a gab, which flows liquid by the given parameters. Through the simplifications introduced, it comes to the problem of structural and forced vibration for both the horizontal pulsation in a tube and the area of a compensating piston. The described method uses the separation of variables for pressure function. The speed function is derived from the already known pressure field distribution using the Navier-Stokes equation.

Studium proudění nemísitelných kapalin / Study of the flow of immiscible liquids

Malá, Kateřina January 2020 (has links)
This thesis explores the topic of flow of two immiscible liquids in horizontal pipeline. For this purpose, the experimental apparatus has been set up, that allows to observe the flow of mixture through the transparent pipe. Moderately viscous oil and water (viscosity ratio: 52,81, density ratio: 0.86, interfacial tension: 41,64 mN/m) have been chosen for the experiment. Both fluids were introduced into the pipe through a T-junction. At the end of the apparatus, a mixture of liquids flowed into the separation tank, where both phases were separated. The separated oil was then reused for further measurements. The oil and water flow rates could be individually changed by use control valves, that led to identification of different flow regimes. These varied from stratified flows to fully dispersed ones as the mixture speed increased. All observed flow regimes were plotted in the flow map, that is a function of the inlet velocities of both fluids. For further analysis, a second type of flow map has been created that displays rates as a function of mixture velocity and phase volume fraction. Selected regime was also simulated using software ANSYS FLUENT. The VOF method was used to simulate multiphase flow. This thesis critically evaluates the results of the study and shows the direction for further research in the field of immiscible liquids flow.

Senzor pro měření průtoku / Flow sensor

Symerský, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
This diploma thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In its first, theoretical part, deals with the theory of fluid and gas flow, heat transfer and diversification of sensors for flow measurement working on the electrical principle. It also deals with thermodynamic principle, which can be used for measuring very small flow and low-temperature ceramics that is used to implement microcanals for sensing very low flows. The practical part of the thesis deals with the very simulation of the entire structure in the program “COMSOL Multiphysics” - both in 2D and 3D views. Then there is shown the implementation and measurement of the flow sensor in a low-temperature ceramics, working on a thermodynamic principle.

Požární stanice - stanice typu P / Firehouse - station type P1

Tuza, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis solves creating of the layout study and creation of documentation for the realization of a new fire station. In the building, the location of the JPO I rescue units is considered. The territorial jurisdiction is usually considered to be within 20 minutes of dislocation. The category of the fire station will be considered as P1. The object consists of two structurally and functionally different parts. The first part is designed as a one-storey reinforced concrete skeleton roofed with pre-stressed ceiling panels. This section includes technical background and garages. The cladding of the skeletal part of the building is solved by a masonry block made of lime-sand blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. The second part is walled from lime-sand blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. There are spaces of administrative and operational character. This section has two above-ground floors. The ground plan is fractured, the maximum dimensions are 45.59 x 28.34 m. The building has no basement, roofed only with flat roofs. The object is situated in the peripheral locality of Příbor, the terrain is slightly sloping.

Výběr vhodného uspořádání toku pracovních látek s laminárním režimem proudění v trubkovém chladiči / Selection of suitable fluid flow directions in laminar flow tubular cooler

Krobot, David January 2009 (has links)
This master’s thesis is devoted to problematic of selection of suitable flow directions in double pipe heat exchanger. First chapter is oriented to the construction of tube heat exchangers. It is also discussed impact of construction solution to the flow character and changing of his process parameters. The difference between parallel and countercurrent flow is also occurred in this parts. The next chapter is focused to the basics of heat-hydraulic calculations of heat exchanger. This also means explanation of ways of heat transfer and heat exchanger function. There are told about specific access to the solving problem of fluid laminar flow. The third chapter is detailed focused to the calculating of heat exchanger. At first is discussed factors, which have impact to the flow character. Next are detailed descriptions of design and controlling calculations, including more alternative ways to solve it. Next chapter exploit those results for deciding, which flow arrangement will be better for given case. Last chapter contain realization and reformulating of process heat exchanger calculating to the program code in Maple. There is also description of used algorithms and operating with them, so any user could be able to work with it. In this master’s thesis are used many examples from attached programs on different parts.

Pokročilá simulace a vizualizace kapaliny / Advanced Simulation and Vizualization of a Fluid

Obr, Jakub January 2011 (has links)
This thesis concentrates on physically based simulation of fluids followed by its photorealistic visualization. It describes one form of Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics methods for viscoelastic fluid simulation and includes its extension for multiple interacting fluids. It also deals with SPH boundary problem and investigates its solution by fixed boundary particles. For visualization of fluids there is a method of Ray Tracing described in detail and it's extended with light absorption in transparent materials. In connection with this method there is also discussed a problem of infinite total reflections and some solution techniques are offered. To extract the surface of the fluid there is used a Marching cubes method and its discussed in terms of Ray Tracing.
