Metodika řešení masivních úloh v GIS / Methodology for the solution of massive tasks in GISOpatřilová, Irena January 2015 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with the issue of solving massive tasks in GIS. These tasks process large volumes of geographic data with different formats. The thesis describes a theoretical analysis of the complexity of tasks and the possibilities to optimize sub-processes which lead to an acceptable solution. It considers the possibility of using parallelism in GIS, which leads to an acceleration in the processing of large volumes of geographic data. It also proposes a method for the optimization of processes through an algorithm which determines the number of means necessary for the successful solution of a task at a specified time and assigns processes to these means. Additionally, there is a proposed algorithm for the optimization of the preparation of data for extensive GIS projects. The algorithms have been validated by the results of a research project, the aim of which was to analyse the terrain surface above a gas line in the Czech Republic. The primary method of analysis was the classification of an orthophoto image, which was further refined through filtration using the ZABAGED layers. Therefore, the thesis deals with the possibility of improving the results of image classification using GIS instruments as well as dealing with the determination of the error rate in analysis results. The results of the analysis are now used for the strategic planning of maintenance and the development of gas facilities in the Czech Republic. The results of the work have general importance regarding the performance of other operations of the same class in GIS.

Hodnocení a klasifikace ve školní TV / Evaluation and classification in academic physical educationLonská, Julie January 2011 (has links)
Title: Evaluation and classification in academic physical education Goals: The main goal of this work is to analyze the opinion of the current teachers of physical education on the methods of evaluation and classification in academic physical education within elementary and high schools. How is the relation of the tutors towards classification and verbal evaluation of the students within physical education and what are their main criteria for evaluation. Further, evaluate students questionnaires related to their opinion on given classification. Methodology: The methodology used in this work was a research questionnaire within 20 schools in Prague (10 elementary and 10 high). The first questionnaire, which was created for teachers, had 40 questions where the first 36 had a closed form and the remaining 4 questions had an open form, where respondents answered with their own opinion. The second questionnaire was created for students and had 39 questions. Only one answer was possible for each question. Only the last question had an open form. The questionnaire was focused on the ways of the evaluation of students within physical education, criteria for classification within physical education, scarcities and priorities of these ways of evaluation. Results: It was proven from the analysis of the results...

Analýza emocionálních stavů na základě obrazových předloh / Emotional State Analysis Upon Image PatternsPřinosil, Jiří January 2009 (has links)
This dissertation thesis deals with the automatic system for basic emotional facial expressions recognition from static images. Generally the system is divided into the three independent parts, which are linked together in some way. The first part deals with automatic face detection from color images. In this part they were proposed the face detector based on skin color and the methods for eyes and lips position localization from detected faces using color maps. A part of this is modified Viola-Jones face detector, which was even experimentally used for eyes detection. The both face detectors were tested on the Georgia Tech Face Database. Another part of the automatic system is features extraction process, which consists of two statistical methods and of one method based on image filtering using set of Gabor’s filters. For purposes of this thesis they were experimentally used some combinations of features extracted using these methods. The last part of the automatic system is mathematical classifier, which is represented by feed-forward neural network. The automatic system is utilized by adding an accurate particular facial features localization using active shape model. The whole automatic system was benchmarked on recognizing of basic emotional facial expressions using the Japanese Female Facial Expression database.

Deep neural networks and their application for image data processing / Deep neural networks and their application for image data processingGolovizin, Andrey January 2016 (has links)
In the area of image recognition, the so-called deep neural networks belong to the most promising models these days. They often achieve considerably better results than traditional techniques even without the necessity of any excessive task-oriented preprocessing. This thesis is devoted to the study and analysis of three basic variants of deep neural networks-namely the neocognitron, convolutional neural networks, and deep belief networks. Based on extensive testing of the described models on the standard task of handwritten digit recognition, the convolutional neural networks seem to be most suitable for the recognition of general image data. Therefore, we have used them also to classify images from two very large data sets-CIFAR-10 and ImageNet. In order to optimize the architecture of the applied networks, we have proposed a new pruning algorithm based on the Principal Component Analysis. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Praktické uplatnění technologií data mining ve zdravotních pojišťovnách / Practical applications of data mining technologies in health insurance companiesKulhavý, Lukáš January 2010 (has links)
This thesis focuses on data mining technology and its possible practical use in the field of health insurance companies. Thesis defines the term data mining and its relation to the term knowledge discovery in databases. The term data mining is explained, inter alia, with methods describing the individual phases of the process of knowledge discovery in databases (CRISP-DM, SEMMA). There is also information about possible practical applications, technologies and products available in the market (both products available free and commercial products). Introduction of the main data mining methods and specific algorithms (decision trees, association rules, neural networks and other methods) serves as a theoretical introduction, on which are the practical applications of real data in real health insurance companies build. These are applications seeking the causes of increased remittances and churn prediction. I have solved these applications in freely-available systems Weka and LISP-Miner. The objective is to introduce and to prove data mining capabilities over this type of data and to prove capabilities of Weka and LISP-Miner systems in solving tasks due to the methodology CRISP-DM. The last part of thesis is devoted the fields of cloud and grid computing in conjunction with data mining. It offers an insight into possibilities of these technologies and their benefits to the technology of data mining. Possibilities of cloud computing are presented on the Amazon EC2 system, grid computing can be used in Weka Experimenter interface.

Studium přesných prostoročasů / Study of Exact SpacetimesŠvarc, Robert January 2012 (has links)
In this work we study various aspects of the behaviour of free test particles in Einstein's general relativity and analyze specific physical properties of the background spacetimes. In the first part we investigate geodesic motions in the four-dimensional constant curvature spacetimes, i.e., Minkowski and (anti-)de Sitter universe, with an expanding impulsive gravitational wave. We derive the simple refraction formulae for particles crossing the impulse and describe the effect of nonvanishig cosmological constant. In the second part of this work we present a general method useful for geometrical and physical interpretation of arbitrary spacetimes in any dimension. It is based on the systematic analysis of the relative motion of free test particles. The equation of geodesic deviation is rewritten with respect to the natural orthonormal frame. We discuss the contributions given by a specific algebraic structure of the curvature tensor and the matter content of the universe. This formalism is subsequently used for investigation of the large class of nontwisting spacetimes. In particular, we analyse the motions in the nonexpanding Kundt and expanding Robinson--Trautman family of solutions.
