In addition, heat calculation, design of the combustion chamber dimensions and dimensioning of heat surfaces were accomplished. The boiler has an evaporator with natural circulation and a fire grate.

The topic of this thesis is the calculation of the steam-boiler. The begining of the thesis deals with stoichiometric calculations. In the second chapter is performed the heat balance of the boiler. In the fourth and fifth chapter are defined dimensions of the fire and is established the temperature of a combustion gas in the outlet from the fire. The fifth chapter includes the balance calculations of the particular heating surfaces of the steam-boiler. As a conclusion of the calculations of the steam-boiler is performed the total balance. In the last chapter are proposed the methods for a reduction of the quantity of NOx contained in the combustion gas.

For the parameters of the stoichiometric calculations are carried out and enthalpy calculations of combustion and air. The collected data is then made It a diagram of air and flue gas. The following are the calculations with the heat balance calculations of losses and determination of the boiler thermal efficiency of the boiler. It is made of the combustion chamber design and its thermal calculation. After determining the main dimensions of the combustion chamber moves continue the calculation of boiler heating surfaces. At the end of the calculations are controlling the overall energy balance. Boiler output parameters as temperature, pressure and quantity of the steam.

It proposes a variety of drying options for use of different drying media. In the end, an economic evaluation of the combustion system uses a belt dryer, and a system without any possibility of drying the fuel before it enters the boiler.

In sequence, there is designed and solved the configuraion of the steam-boiler, so that the result design and the number of the heat-delivery surfaces can be determined, in dependence on the required inlet parametres of the air and outlet parametresof the water vapour. These parametres mean the amount, the temparature and the pressure. The aim of the thesis is to make a design of the steam.boiler burning biomass according to the set parametres. This very ecological fuel can really substitute the fossil fuel and friendly respect the environment.
