Detta är en textanalys av svensk kriminalfilm. Den här studien undersöker hur våld skildras i svensk kri-minalfilm, hur våldet motiveras och vilka skillnader det finns mellan kvinnor och mäns motiv, och om våldskaraktärerna innehar stereotypa könsrelaterade egenskaper. Studien görs utifrån ett genusperspektiv med inslag av teorin om intersektionealisering. Textanalysen görs genom analys av nyckelscener i filmen, det vill säga våldsscener, scener där karaktären agerar i enlighet med Bems (1974) maskulina eller femi-nina egenskaper, och scener där karaktären agerar könsstereotypt. Filmerna som analyseras är Hypnotisören (Hansson, Possne, Ohlsson & Hallström, 2012), Snabba cash II (Wikström, Nicastro & Najafi, 2012), Irene Huss - Tatuerad torso (Fälemark, Råberg & Asphaug, 2007) och Solstorm (Rehnberg & Lindblom, 2007). Studien kommer fram till att svensk kriminalfilm skildrar allt från psykiskt våld i form av hot till fysiskt våld i form av tortyr och mord. Studien kommer även fram till att kvinnor och mäns motiv till våld ser olika ut och att våldskaraktärerna inte är stereotypa men att de innehar främst maskulina egenskaper. / The essay is a text analysis of Swedish crime film. The essay examines how violence is portrayed in Swedish crime film, how the violence is justified and what differences there are between women's and men's motive to use violence, and if the violent characters hold stereotypical gender-related characteristics. The study is done from a gender perspective with elements of the theory of intersectionality. The text analysis is done through analysis of key scenes in the film, ie, scenes with violence, scenes where the character is acting according to Bem's (1974) masculine or feminine characteristics, and the scenes where the character acts gender stereotypic. The films analyzed are Hypnotisören (Hansson, Possne, Ohlsson & Hall-current, 2012), Snabba Cash II (Wik-ström, Nicastro & Najafi, 2012), Irene Huss - Tatuerad torso (Fälemark, Råberg & Asphaug, 2007) and Sol-storm (Rehnberg & Lindblom, 2007). The study concludes that Swedish crime film depicts everything from psychological abuse in the form of threats, and physical violence in the form of torture and murder. The study also found that women's and men's motives for violence are different and that the violent characters are not stereotypical but that they hold primarily masculine characteristics.
