Realistická krajina s vegetací / Realistic Landscape with VegetationZelený, Jan January 2009 (has links)
There is enough rendering power to draw more than only simple indoor scenes today and it can produce very realistic images of landscape with vegetation. Moreover, there are new sophisticated methods for generating of such landscape and simulation of plants ecosystem. This text explains few algorithms for generating and methods for interactive rendering of landscape and vegetation.

Multigramatiky a syntaktická analýza založená na nich / Multigrammars and Parsing Based on ThemFiala, Jiří Unknown Date (has links)
This document deals with introduction focused on pragmatically oriented research at branch of theoretical computer science and with presentation of designed methods for chosen application topics. At this study the theoretical subject is represented by kind of generative system - multisequential grammar and application topics are chosen according to possibilities supported by multisequential grammars. In order to follow results published by Thompson (see [9]), Lindenmayer (see [26]), Mandelbrot (see [8]) and also studies published by Morneau (see [17]), which shows the relation between natural laws and human discipline - mathematics, we study the applications of multi-sequential grammars from two points of view: generative L-systems (which further includes applications of fractal geometry and biomathematics) and natural language processing (which further includes the design of proper abstract language). Some problems related to compiler construction are also mentioned.

An investigation of the association between toxin producing staphylococcus, biochemical changes and jaw muscle pain.McGregor, Neil Roland January 2000 (has links)
Objectives: To assess the expression of the symptoms of jaw muscle pain and its association with alterations in biochemistry, other symptoms and the carriage of staphylococci. Methods: Three different study populations were assessed. The first was selected and examined by the author and consisted of 43 pain and 41 age and sex matched controls. The second was a study of CFS patients who were blinded to the author and the author subsequently examined the associations between jaw muscle symptom reporting and the standardised biochemistry measures. The third study was also blinded to the author but included an investigation of staphylococci and certain cytokine and biochemistry measures. Results: The three studies clearly establish an association between the carriage of toxicogenic coagulase negative staphylococci and the expression of jaw muscle pain in both males and females. These associations were homogeneous and were found whether the patients were selected on the basis of having jaw muscle pain or selected from within a population of patients selected on the basis of having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The studies associated the changes with variations in biochemistry and these were in turn associated with symptom expression within the jaw muscle pain patients. These biochemical alterations included the dysregulation of immune cell counts, cytokines, electrolyte and protein metabolism. These symptoms and biochemical changes were associated with pain severity and illness duration and staphylococcal toxin production. From the data a model was developed which shows the mechanisms involved in the development of chronic pain in the jaw muscles. Conclusions: The carriage of toxicogenic coagulase-negative staphylococci were found to be associated with the expression of jaw muscle pain and the alterations in biochemistry associated with these symptoms.

Sekvenční a paralelní gramatiky: vlastnosti a aplikace / Sequential and Parallel Grammars: Properties and ApplicationsKlobučníková, Dominika January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the topic of sequential and parallel grammars. Both of these groups cover a large number of grammar families, most of which, however, are not widely used because of the difficulties related to their processing. The thesis examines some of these grammar types, such as scattered-context grammars, multigenerative systems, and interactive L-systems, with focus on their normal forms. Subsequently, it introduces a set of algorithms utilising properties of the discussed grammar types as well as their normal forms. These algorithms are based on the Cocke-Younger-Kasami algorithm for context-free grammars, and are capable of parsing any grammar in the corresponding normal form. Finally, a program implementing the proposed algorithms is presented.

Procedurálně generované město / Procedurally Generated CityPanáček, Petr January 2011 (has links)
This paper deals with problem of procedurally generated city. There are described steps of creation of city. These steps are: road generation, extraction of minimal cycles in graph, division of lots and generation of buildings. Road and buildings are generated by L-system. Our system generate a city from input images, such as height map, map of population density and map of water areas. Proposed approaches are used for implementation of application for generation of city.

Fraktály v počítačové grafice / Fractals in Computer GraphicsHeiník, Jan Unknown Date (has links)
This Master's thesis deals with history of Fractal geometry and describes the fractal science development. In the begining there are essential Fractal science terms explained. Then description of fractal types and typical or most known examples of them are mentioned. Fractal knowledge application besides computer graphics area is discussed. Thesis informs about fractal geometry practical usage. Few present software packages or more programs which can be used for making fractal pictures are described in this work. Some of theirs capabilities are described. Thesis' practical part consists of slides, demonstrational program and poster. Electronical slides represents brief scheme usable for fractal geometry realm lectures. Program generates selected fractal types. Thesis results are projected on poster.
