PROTOTYPISK LEDARSKAPSSTIL I ÖREBRO KOMMUN : Hur kan en podcast stärka bilden av en prototypisk ledare som är konstruerad ur ett top-down perspektiv?

Eriksson, Frida, Olsson, Martin January 2022 (has links)
This qualitative study aims to gain an understanding of how different identity-creating attributes can contribute to create a prototypical leadership style. To achieve the purpose of the study a conversation analysis of the material is performed. The material is 7 selected sections in Örebro municipality's podcast, "Sveriges viktigaste chefspodd", and is compared to their leader platform that forms the basis for the prototypical leadership style in the municipality. The study approaches the purpose through the following questions: Which identity-creating components can be identified in "Sveriges viktigaste chefspodd"? How do the identified components contribute to creating a prototypical leadership style? The analysis in the study highlights attributes and characteristics in the participants' statements about leadership and is compared with the prototypical image that Örebro municipality has of a leader via their leadership platform. The results of the survey shows that all components of an identity (given, chosen and core) are identified in the interviewees' opinions, but it is the core identity that permeates the results. How interview participants view and shape a prototypical leadership style is largely based on core identity. The participant’s characteristics and values form the basis of how they handle their professional role and their view of leadership.
