Erkers, Axel, Karlsson, August January 2024 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to answer the research questions by examining how different leadership styles manage and influence the expedient a reorganization is carried out. The study has used a qualitative method which includes semi structured interviews to collect the empirical data. A thematic analysis with an inductive approach was used to analyse the data. The findings highlight that expedient reorganizations depend on a combination of autocratic and democratic leadership, with transformational and participative approaches enhancing employee motivation, productivity, and a sense of belonging. Research questions: What type of leadership leads to an expedient reorganization?
