Bakgrund: Personcentrerad vård förknippas med ett humanistiskt vårdande där utgångspunkten är patienters perspektiv. Sjuksköterskor ska synliggöra den hela patienten och visa en ömsesidig respekt för att kunna bevara patienters värdighet. Patienter och familjemedlemmar erfar att det är viktigt att sjuksköterskor kan se till den unika människan. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelse av att arbeta med personcentrerad vård. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats med en beskrivande syntes har använts för detta examensarbete. Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna beskrev att arbeta med personcentrerad vård gav dem upplevelser av inre tillfredställelse. Upplevelsen av underlättning uppkom när patienter blev delaktiga och en relation kunde växa fram. Resultatet visade även på att sjuksköterskorna upplevde att de var otillräckliga i den hektiska arbetsmiljön som fanns och att det fanns organisatoriska hinder som försvårade utövandet av personcentrerad vård. Slutsats: Det var främst positiva upplevelser som framkom genom resultatet. Sjuksköterskor upplevde dock att det var svårt att arbeta med personcentrerad vård när organisationen inte tillhandahöll med tillräckliga resurser och utbildning. En översikt av sjuksköterskors upplevelser ger möjligheter för att lyfta fram brister och bidrar till en förståelse över att kraven inte endast ligger hos sjuksköterskorna utan även hos organisationen. / Background: Person-centered care is associated with a humanistic view, where the starting point is the perspectives of the patients. The nurse has to make the whole patient visible and show respect in order to preserve the dignity of the patients. Patients and family members experiences that it’s important that nurses can see the unique human. Aim: To describe the nurses' experience of working with person-centered care. Method: A systematic literature study with qualitative approach and a descriptive synthesis has been chosen. Results: Nurses described that a person-centered care gave them experiences of satisfaction. Experiences of relief arose when patients became involved and relationships could emerge. The result also showed that nurses felt that they were inadequate in the hectic working environment and that there were organizational barriers that hampered person-centered care. Conclusion: There were mainly positive experiences that emerged from the result. However, nurses felt that it was difficult to work with person-centered care when the organization didn’t provide adequate resources and education. Overviews of nurses' experiences provides opportunities to highlight deficiencies and contributes to an understanding that the requirements doesn’t only depend on nurses but also on the organization.
