It shows a ponderation on the musical education in Brazil focused in the formation of the musical educator. In this interrelation, education and music, it was sought to understand how some professors/teachers of a musical academic course became educators in this field taking an account their life trajectories. In this manner, the objective of this study is to find out the process of the building of the hábitus and the pedagogical-musical field in the trajectories of a group of professors of the Musical Education Course of Federal University of Ceará. The theoritical support of this paper is the Praxiology or the Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of the social structures, which tries to unfold which is beneath the phenomena and social manifestations. This approach has proved to be of great value because it seeks, through the interaction between the agents(individuals and groups) and the institutions, to acheive the historical structure that has influenced greatly the thoughts and actions. The bibliography available on this theme has showed the musical field as an area of knowledge(SOUZA, 1996, 2001a, 2001b and DEL BEM 2001, 2003); as an enviroment of local relations,(BOZON, 2000) and the musical field of Fortaleza from the 1950’s(MATTOS, 2007 and SCHRADER, 2002). Therefore this research has proved to be of great importance because it fills a gap that exists in the literature available, once it takes in consideration the social context of the musical education course of the Federal University of Ceará. This fact is explained by emphasis put on a context of discussions not elucidated so far related to the late emerging of this agent[musical educator] in the musical arena of Fortaleza. This investigation has used procedures indicated in the approach of the quality research because its major concern is focused more in the process than in the results itself and for the researcher considerated the “meaning” people give to things and to their lives points of special attention(LUDKE and ANDRÉ, 1986). So the narrative interviews of the life stories were the elements of data gathering. A diary camp and a tape-recorder were used as devices of registration. The research shows that the subjects were formed in diverse places, time and contexts. It was observed that this formation of the being does not happen based on great happenings or was shaped as a result of great rupture and revolutions. It emerges in a subtle form from the daily experiences that the agents lived in their own stories. It begins in the familiar circle, in a basic process of social relation, and provides the support to the subsequent experiences, verified in the ambit of school learning. From these experiences, a great number of mechanisms that have already been manifested as expressions of cultural achievements like habits, beliefs, behaviors, values, institutions and moral rules are built. In this sense, the habitus became very similar to the culture and the way that they[the agents] were assuming these cultural components has mold the subtle nuances of a cognitive, social and spatial/corporeal shaped in the context of theirs trajectories / Esse estudo se desenvolve no âmbito da Educação Musical, fundindo, portanto, em sua discussão, dois campos: o campo da Educação e o campo da Música. Apresenta uma reflexão sobre a educação musical no Brasil a partir do recorte da formação do educador musical. Nessa inter-relação, educação/música, buscou compreender como os professores de um curso de educação musical se constituíram em docentes dessa área, detendo o olhar sobre suas trajetórias de vida. Assim, o objetivo do estudo foi investigar o processo de constituição do habitus e do campo pedagógico-musical na trajetória de docentes do curso de Educação Musical da UFC. O aporte teórico que sustenta essa pesquisa é a Praxiologia ou Teoria das estruturas sociais de Pierre Bourdieu, por procurar desvelar o que subjaz aos fenômenos e manifestações sociais. Essa abordagem mostra-se também de grande valor por buscar na interação entre os agentes (indivíduos e os grupos) e as instituições, encontrar uma estrutura historicizada que se impõe sobre os pensamentos e as ações. A literatura encontrada sobre a temática, apresentou o campo musical, como área de conhecimento (SOUZA,1996, 2001a, 2001b e DEL BEM, 2001, 2003); como espaço de relações locais, (BOZON, 2000) e o campo musical de Fortaleza a partir da década de 1950 (MATTOS, 2007 e SCHRADER, 2002). Nesse caso, o estudo mostrou-se oportuno por preencher uma lacuna existente na literatura, ao abordar a leitura social do contexto do curso de Educação Musical da UFC. Tal fato se explica pelo foco dado a um contexto de discussões até então não elucidadas, quanto à tardia emergência desse agente no campo musical de Fortaleza. A investigação adotou procedimentos indicados pela abordagem de pesquisa do tipo qualitativa por interessar-se mais pelo processo do que pelos resultados e, por considerar que o “significado” que as pessoas atribuem às coisas e à sua vida são focos de atenção especial para o pesquisador (LUDKE e ANDRÉ,1986). Assim, as entrevistas narrativas de história de vida compuseram os instrumentos de coleta de dados, sendo utilizados como ferramentas de registro o diário de campo e o gravador. A pesquisa mostra que os sujeitos se formam em múltiplos espaços, tempos e contextos, observando que essa constituição do ser não se dá com base em grandes acontecimentos ou forjada por amplas revoluções e rupturas. Ela emerge sutilmente das experiências cotidianas que os agentes vivenciam em suas histórias. Inicia no ciclo familiar, que em um processo de socialização básico, fornece o suporte para as experiências subseqüentes, apreciadas no âmbito das aprendizagens escolares. A partir destas, são construídos uma série de artefatos que já se manifestam como culturais na expressão de costumes, crenças, comportamentos, valores, instituições e regras morais. Nesse aspecto, o habitus se assemelhou à cultura e a forma como eles foram se apropriando desses componentes culturais esculpiu os sutis contornos de uma identidade física/espacial, social e cognitiva, forjada no contexto de suas trajetórias

Currently using specialized sites, people gather in virtual communities that occur on the Internet. Some examples of those virtual communities are forums, bulletins and chats. They have created special ways to work with information in texts, sound and images. In that perspective, what knowledge and processes of apprehension/transmission of music can be revealed in forum Violão.org? That question leads this dissertation to its general objective that is to carry out an exploratory study to reveal knowledge and processes of apprehension/transmission of music developed in the forum Violão.org. Originated in the late 90s of the 20th century, it is the main forum of classical guitar in Brazil. The research has a qualitative character having a case study as methodological option. It contains a bibliography study; elaboration and applying of a questionnaire; interviews with moderators and analysis of a virtual scene as an example for understanding the forum dynamics on knowledge and processes of apprehension/ transmission of music. Data were interpreted being observed the different sources and research procedures. The analysis emerged from the contribution of Music Education scholars that have conducted their studies on new technologies related to apprehension/transmission of music, still considering the experiences of the author with the research object. The first chapter discusses Musical Education, interactive society and cyberspace, and issues related to the interactivity provided by the web as well; the second one presents the forum Violão.org; the third one approaches the base categories for the interpretation. The fourth chapter describes the methodology used for the investigation development and the fifth chapter develops the description and discussion of data collected. The results show that the exploratory exercise on the forum Violão.org has been a way to extend the studies and discussions on knowledge and processes of apprehension/transmission in virtual communities in the area of Musical Education. / Atualmente por meio de sites especializados, as pessoas se reúnem em comunidades virtuais que acontecem na Internet. Os fóruns eletrônicos de discussão, quadros de avisos eletrônicos bem como os chats são alguns exemplos de comunidades virtuais. Elas criam modos próprios de trabalhar com as informações sejam em texto, sons, imagens. Nessa perspectiva, que saberes e processos de apreensão/transmissão da música podem ser desvelados no fórum Violão.org? Esta questão de pesquisa orienta a dissertação que tem como objetivo geral desenvolver um estudo exploratório para desvelar saberes e processos de apreensão/transmissão musical desenvolvidos no fórum Violão.org. Este é o maior fórum de violão clássico no Brasil e teve sua origem nos finais dos anos noventa do século passado. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e tem o estudo de caso como opção metodológica. O planejamento da pesquisa envolveu um levantamento bibliográfico, elaboração e aplicação de questionário com os participantes do fórum, entrevistas com moderadores e análise de uma cena virtual que serviu como exemplo para estimular a compreensão da dinâmica do fórum no que diz respeito aos saberes e processos de apreensão/transmissão musical. Os dados coletados tiveram como recurso metodológico para interpretação, a análise de conteúdo e a triangulação tendo em vista as diferentes fontes e procedimentos da pesquisa. Os dados foram interpretados à luz das contribuições do pensamento de autores da Educação Musical que tratam sobre a inclusão das novas tecnologias nos processos de apreensão/transmissão da música e de teóricos de áreas afins considerando ainda neste debate as experiências do autor com o objeto de pesquisa. O primeiro capítulo faz reflexões sobre a Educação Musical, a sociedade interativa e o ciberespaço, bem como questões relacionadas à interatividade proporcionada pela rede de computadores. O segundo apresenta o fórum Violão.org. O terceiro capítulo destaca as categorias de análise que serviram de base para a interpretação. O quarto capítulo descreve a metodologia utilizada para o desenvolvimento da investigação e o quinto capítulo desenvolve a descrição e discussão dos dados coletados. A pesquisa mostrou que o exercício exploratório sobre o fórum Violão.org foi uma maneira de ampliar os estudos e discussões sobre os saberes e processos de apreensão/transmissão em comunidades virtuais na área de Educação Musical. / Mestre em Artes
