The dissertation deals with the management of risks occurring in the internation-alization process of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the engi-neering industry. In the first part, the characteristics of the engineering industry in the Czech Republic are outlined on the basis of secondary data. In the second part and on the basis of obtained primary data, the internationalization process of Czech engineering SMEs is characterized and the important risk factors in this process are identified. Risk factors are seen as areas from which arise the specific risks in the internationalization of enterprises. The dissertation also addresses the key risks of the internationalization of engineering SMEs and describes how these firms currently manage risks in their internationalization process. The dissertation also addresses the question of whether the internationalization of engineering SMEs can be explained by the Uppsala model, which is based on the concept of psychic distance closely related to the perception of risks. The final part proposes an easily-applied methodology adapted to the conditions of engineering SMEs for the management of risks in internationalization.

Diploma thesis is focused on the function of the small town Ivančice as a center of a rural micro-region. In my work, I evaluate the literature on problems of small towns and rural areas. Then I describe demographic and environmental characteristics of the area. Based on my own research and questionnaire survey, I present the development potential of the microregion Ivančice.

Cílem práce je porovnat efektivnost dvou možností pořízení majetkové části - a to buď na leasing nebo na úvěr; tento cíl se opírá o sledování základního cíle podniku, kterým je růst hodnoty firmy. V první části je obecné vymezení leasingu, jeho historie, předmětu, typů, stavu současného trhu v ČR. Zvláště je zaměřena na finanční leasing z pohledu české legislativy. Druhá část je věnována bankovnímu úvěru, zvláště pak spotřebitelskému úvěru. Třetí část má za cíl porovnat leasing se spotřebitelským úvěrem a vyvození závěrů, která forma je výhodnější za daných okolností na příkladu - pořízení osobního automobilu. Dále si klade za cíl zjistit, zda leasingový trh disponuje potencionálem usnadnit malým a středním podnikům financování investic.

This master thesis deals with the creation of chosen urban spaces with a specific example showing a model object square in the town Tišnov. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The content specifically reviews the theme of urban spaces within the town. The thesis deals first with basic terms, followed by historical development of the town with an input focus on the public spaces, contemporary issues, trends, and reviews in urban space solutions. Finally, the literature critically evaluates the chosen examples of completing central urban spaces of the small cities. The chosen squares in the Czech Republic and abroad were the inspiration for my design for the practical part, there the basis is determined, and the last chapter reviews the approach for the architectural study. The practical part of the master thesis contains a complete analysis, including broader relations of the subject. The problematic drawings and design concept was based on the research and analysis. The area of the model object takes part in central Tišnov, and the architectural study deals with the area complexly in parts. The area is divided into 5 parts for better understanding - 28th October Square,street toward the Square od Peace, Square of Peace, Komensky's Square, and the area near The St. Wenceslav Square. The aim of the study was to create a pleasant, safe, and high quality designed living area for its inhabitants and visitors.

The systems of greenery in Czech republic have a lot of specific qualities, which make the image of the city.Urban interior environment mostly serves as a place for various meetings and social events. These spaces come alive thanks to people, who give them reason and meaning. According to the planning of urban space is most importatnt to create it for the people, for their requirements, relax and activities. Greenery with furniture is tha mean factor which makes urban spaces inhabitable and makes cities better. This thesis presents results of field research and shows positive and negative examples.

This work is focused on a topic of public spaces in small towns. Aim is to give a summary of teoretical basics that will create the foundation of research the topic public spaces in small towns and will simplify their subsequent assessment. Authoress of this work describes a term "public space" in general in the introduction of this topic. Definitions of inland authors that indicate on small differencies in importance of used terms in czech language, are presented. Next term is "small town" whose public spaces are beeing prefered too. Basic dividing of public spaces followed. Ph.D.thesis deals with hictorical development of public spaces and basics of town arrangement, completed by thoughts of important authors from architecture, urbanism a and sociology field. Importace of specifics and problems of small towns are highlighted. Authoress points on role of public spaces in the town-environment and summarize aspects of their arrangements. Attention is focused predominantly on squares that are the main public spaces of small towns. Role of park or town-garden, as a town-creating element, is debated too. In conclusion authoress gives a basic thesis for public spaces in small towns and summarizes the assumptions for their revitalization.
