Zjišťování změn polohy ELA ledovců v pohoří Cordillera Blanca, Peru, z dat DPZ / Detection of Equilibrium Line Altitude (ELA) Changes from Remote Sensing Data; Case Study from the Cordillera Blanca, Peru

Paraj, Zsolt January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to monitor glacier change in the Cordillera Blanca in the period from 1987 to 2014. This diploma thesis focuses on three mountains and eleven glaciers in the northern part of the Cordillera Blanca. The input data consist of 29 Landsat scenes (Landsat 4,5,7 and 8) and the ASTER global digital elevation model version 2. Semi-automatic classification algorithm is created based on threshold values detected by spectral analyses of selected land cover types in the Cordillera Blanca. Additionally, the mean snowline (equilibrium line) altitude change is computed for all of the three mountains and eleven glaciers. Besides, glacier change depending on slope and aspect is evaluated. The results of this diploma thesis are presented in maps, tables and charts. The results of the classification are compared with the GLIMS Glacier Database and the field measurements provided by Adam Emmer, MSc. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the new Landsat 8 satellite sensor are discussed. Key words: Remote sensing, Landsat, classification, ice and snow detection, ELA, Cordillera Blanca

Analýza svahové deformace z vrcholu Mužský, Příhrazská plošina / Analysis of slope deformation from the Mužský hill, Příhrazská plošina plateau

Pantůčková, Klára January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is dealing with analysis of landslide on the eastern hillside of the Mužský hill, which lies on the Příhrazská plošina Plateau in Český ráj. Příhrazská plošina Plateau belongs to areas, where landslides occur very often and it is well known for a destructive landslide at Dneboh village in 1926. Landslide under the Mužský hill originated on hillside of a Tertiary volcano, which penetrated Cretaceous sandstones and claystones. That distinguishes it from other landslides in the area. Geophysical method of electrical resistivity tomography was used for finding landslides slip surface. Due to small resistivity contrast between landslide mass and underlying claystones, it was not able to identify slip surface with high certainty. The results show only some indications of it. The geophysical exploration however, proved that the landslide mass is overlaying originally exposed sandstone blocks in the accumulation part of the landslide. The whole area of the landslide was mapped into engineering geology map of slope stability at 1:2000 scale with the help of GPS. Slope map on the basis of digital model terrain acquired from LiDAR measurements was used, as a basis of new map. This slope map provided more information about older landslides around examined landslide. From results of the mapping was...

Synantropní flóra a vegetace severozápadního okraje města Brna

Melicharová, Montana January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the survey of synanthropic flora and vegetation on the northwestern outskirts of the city of Brno. It includes the northwestern part of the Bystrc and Kníničky city districts, the adjacent surroundings of the Brno Reservoir and a substantial part of Mniší hora. The explored area is precisely demarcated by 4 squares corresponding to 1/16 of the basic field of the Central European network mapping (6765CAa+b+c+d). The abundances of the found species were noted and information about their origin and degree of threat was added later. The most important findings include the information about their exact location. Selected specimens of determined, well collected and pressed species are prepared to be stored in a herbarium. The phytosociological plots were sampled to characterize diverse habitat types located in the area. On the whole, I found 522 plant species in the defined area, of which 134 are non-native and 37 species belong to the category of plants with a specific threat level. The most interesting findings are Stachys annua and Anthriscus caucalis belonging to the strongly endangered category (C2 t). There are two more interesting findings that were located on the bridge to the ZOO, Panicum miliaceum and Setaria italica, and the expanding Cornus sericea on the bank of the river Svratka. I found overall 25 invasive species, 19 of them are neophytes and 6 of them are archaeophytes. The acquired data will be included to the freely available database of Flora of Brno. A large number of other botanists contribute to this database, who record new, but also the most common plant species that get sometimes overlooked.

Pojmové schéma cesta v českém znakovém jazyce / Image schema for PATH in the Czech Sign Language

Moudrá, Anna January 2016 (has links)
Summary: This thesis builds on current research about image schema PATH in Czech language. After a theoretical introduction of the cognitive-linguistic theory of conceptual, or image schemas and about iconic and iconic-metaphorical (double) mapping of sign language existing theoretical and methodological knowledge is compared with language material that captures expressions schema PATH in the Czech sign language. For these purposes a corpus of signs of Czech sign language that make use of the schema of PATH was acquired. Analyzed signs are categorized by target areas (semantic circuits) and also according to the criteria of phonological structure. Key words: cognitive linguistics, Czech sign language, metaphor, iconic mapping, iconic-metaphoric (double) mapping, image schema, image schema PATH

Ježa, Pavel January 2007 (has links)
This diploma work deals with design and implementation of the database neutral object-relational (OR) layer in C++ language over inherited database. The goal is to create the layer to encase the access to database from the application layer. Suggested layer will stem from the object-relation mapping technology, which is currently available for many object-programming language, such as C#, Java or Visual Basic. The work consists of three main parts. The forepart is focused on clearing object-relation mapping technology. It briefly overviews differences in capabilities and levels of implementation of various approaches. The next part describes significant properties of databases considered as back-ends for data storage in the project. The aim of this part is to present enough information to support database neutral design of the OR layer. The rest of the document deals with design and implementation of OR layer for the considered environment followed by the summarization of results and overall evaluational.
