Současné metody analýzy genomu a jejich využití v hledání genetických příčin nemocí / Current methods of genome analysis and their use in identification of genetic determinants of human diseases

Stránecký, Viktor January 2015 (has links)
The study of rare genetic diseases presents unique opportunity to uncover the genetic and molecular basis of human traits and greatly helped to the identification of genes, to the elucidation of their function and to the characterization of metabolic pathways and cellular processes. Over the past decades, linkage analysis has been appropriate approach to search for the genes causing Mendelian diseases and contributed to the identification of many genes, but the genetic cause of many diseases remains unknown. New methods of studying the human genome, microarray technology and massively parallel sequencing (next generation sequencing), represent a way to efficiently identify the cause of genetically determined diseases, based on direct observation of mutations in the genome of affected individuals. These techniques replaced the traditional method of disease gene identification represented by linkage analysis and sequencing of candidate genes and have become the standard approach to elucidate the molecular basis of diseases. In this work, i describe the the results achieved by using these methods - identification of the genes underlying mucopolysacharidosis type IIIC, isolated defect of ATP synthase, Rotor syndrome, autosomal dominat ANCL and GAPO syndrome.

Aktivizující metody a techniky učení v českém jazyce na základní škole / Methods and techniques of active teaching in Czech language on the middle school

KAŠPAROVÁ, Eva January 2008 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the influence of methods and techniques of active teaching on the level of essay-writing in the basic school. The theoretical part describes chosen methods and techniques of active teaching within the context of the educational process. An experiment was carried out in the practical part and it verified the influence of these methods on the development of essay-writing potential of the pupils. The popularity of the chosen methods and techniques of active teaching was being researched by a questionnaire survey. The methods of active teaching were discovered to facilitate the success rate of the essay-writing and a statistically significant increase in the number of sentences and syntactic pairs was found in the experimental group.

HAVELKOVÁ, Lenka January 2009 (has links)
This thesis concentrates on contexts and view-points, that should determinate the character of activities designed for gifted children in foreign languages classes. This work proposes some methods and ways that are convenient for gifted learners. It deals also with the characteristics of the teacher, who is able to conduct the gifted and the characteristics of the gifted in order to devise such activities that satisfy their special cognitive, emotional and social needs.

Pojmové mapy a jejich využití v učení vysokoškolských studentů / Concept Maps and Their Use in Learning of University Students

Zůnová, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
This thesis presents concept maps as an alternative tool for learning of adult university students. The theoretical part explains the changes in the ability to learn of these adult students. The thesis presents basic information about concept maps and describes specific examples for their use by university students. I describe the advantages and disadvantages which bring them this information recording graphical tool. The empirical part combines all topics of the theoretical part. Qualitative research presents the subjective views of adult university students on changes in their ability to learn. They try to create concept map and then they give their subjective views on this tool and their previous experience with it.

Analýza vlastností stereokamery ZED ve venkovním prostředí / Analysis of ZED stereocamera in outdoor environment

Svoboda, Ondřej January 2019 (has links)
The Master thesis is focused on analyzing stereo camera ZED in the outdoor environment. There is compared ZEDfu visual odometry with commonly used methods like GPS or wheel odometry. Moreover, the thesis includes analyses of SLAM in the changeable outdoor environment, too. The simultaneous mapping and localization in RTAB-Map were processed separately with SIFT and BRISK descriptors. The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the behaviour ZED camera in the outdoor environment for future implementation in mobile robotics.

Detekce jízdních pruhů a překážek / Traffic lanes and interruptions detection

Dojava, Marian January 2011 (has links)
This master´s thesis deals with depiction aplication of camera like sensitive element for assisting system of car. It was proposed, how find a road, a lane and a obstacle on roadways. Only one camera was aplication for it. Solution is realized by methods, that are based on color and gradient of image. It applies simple methods and methods with mathematical model. Result is sum of method and its test and comparing. Realization of my program is present at resume of this thesis.

Algoritmy přepočtů gamutů ve správě barev / Gamut mapping algorithms in color management

Svoboda, Jan January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with colors - their representation in digital devices and how to provide the best color preservation accross different devices. In the first part of the work, the knowledge of colors and human vision is briefly summarized. Then color models and color spaces are elaborated, mainly those device independent. Spectrum of colors viewable or printable on a device - the gamut - is different for every device and there's a need of precise reproduction or record of color. That's why the system of color management is described further and especially the gamut mapping approaches and algorithms are mentioned. In the second part of the work, the implementation of how two algorithms of color gamut mapping (HPMINDE, SCLIP) can be implemented in MATLAB is described. In the third and last part of the work, the results of implemented algorithms are presented and discussed. These results are compared to results of commonly used color gamut mapping technique (Adobe Photoshop).

Tone-mapping HDR obrazů / HDR Tone-Mapping

Vančura, Jan January 2010 (has links)
This thesis concerns with the introduction to the problematics of images with high dynamic range (HDR) and possibilities of HDR images compression options for display on devices with a low dynamic range (LDR). In the introduction is described historical evolution of recording of reality. It is focusing towards point of view of physics, human visual perception and digital recording. There are described the ways of generating and holding of HDR images. The thesis is corncerned to the techniques of HDR compression, it means the tone-mapping. The different techniques of tone-mapping are explained and specific aproach is targeted to the gradient domain high dynamic range compresion.

Přínos jednotlivých intraoperačních elektrofyziologických metod u dětských epileptochirurgických pacientů / A practical value of different intraoperative electrophysiological methods in pediatric epilepsy surgery patients

Leško, Róbert January 2020 (has links)
Epilepsy, as the most common chronic neurological disease, affects a significant part of population (0.5-1%). Drug resistant epilepsy has a significant negative effect on the quality of life, psychiatric comorbidities, neurocognitive performance and the risk of SUDEP in children. Therefore, resective epilepsy surgery, the only curative treatment of this condition, can fundamentally reverse this unfavorable prognosis. An inevitable prerequisite for a good postoperative result is complete removal of the epileptogenic zone (EC) and preservation of eloquent areas (EC). At present, even with improving and new preoperative non-invasive methods, we don't have an exclusive diagnostic method for theirs delineation. The aim of this PhD study is to assess benefit of individual intraoperative electrophysiological (iEF) methods in pediatric patients with focal intractable epilepsy. The first study evaluates the importance of intraoperative electrocorticography (iECoG) in the localization of EZ. The study proved that iECoG serves as a reliable tool to guide surgical resection and may predict results of epilepsy surgery. iECoG-based modification of surgical plan is not associated with increased risk of significant complications. The second presented study analyzed the contribution of intraoperative electrical...
