Förbättring av dockning mellan lastvagn och autoklav

Elofsson, Jesper January 2013 (has links)
At present Getinge can offer a new generation of trolleys that they produced in 2011. The trolley used to Getinge various autoclaves and has the primary task to help the user/sterilization personnel to transport shelves or baskets, with or without cargo, from a packing table to the autoclave. The purpose of this thesis has been to develop a primary solution how the docking process between Getinge trolleys and autoclaves can be improved. The work has in most part followed Fredy Olsson principle and primary construction method. The work has included product research, study visit and development of a requirements specification, to satisfy Getinge, their clients and circumvention products requirements. Using this information, it was taken up various product proposals were screened out by testing prototype and study of Cad-model, until only one product suggestions residue. The product proposal led to a primary solution that was designed and calculated in CATIA V5 and a simple prototype of the primary solution. The work resulted in a new loading area to Getinge trolleys. The loading area will help users on sterilization stations through an increased precision tolerance, which facilitate the docking process between the trolley and autoclave.

To increase the efficiency in sugar and ethanol industries by using a decanter centrifuge : a feasibility study made in the Dominican Republic

Sjöberg, Mikael, Nilsson, Daniel, Widén, Pontus January 2008 (has links)

This Bachelor Degree Project is a study about possible improvements of the efficiency at sugar mills and ethanol distilleries by using a decanter centrifuge. The report handles background, purpose and result including conclusions and discussions. The implementation of the decanter at site is fully described, including problems and solutions during the project. With the increased use of ethanol as a bio fuel, the question about bio ethanol’s energy balance have become of more importance. As a part of the project a study about the energy balance have been carried out. In our research we did only find one (more or less) accepted investigation concerning ethanol energy balance from sugar cane. All other found information about the subject refers to this single assessment which is quite remarkable.

The sugar and ethanol production processes are almost similar until after the clarifier step. The clarifier is a gravitational settling tank where the juice is clarified and then sent to evaporation (sugar process) or fermentation (ethanol process). The by-product called molasses still contains some sugar and is therefore sent to a rotating vacuum filter to extract the remaining sugar. Rotating vacuum filters has high energy consumption, is dirty, creates a lot of smell and needs a lot of space. The objective with the study was to investigate the possibilities to replace the rotating vacuum filter with a decanter centrifuge and achieve better efficiency in the production. A decanter is a centrifuge that separates solids from liquids. The decanter is based on the simple theory that solids fall to the bottom due to the force of gravity. The decanter centrifuge works with this principle but the difference is that the gravity force has been replaced by a centrifugal force.

The result of our test gives a good indication that the decanter is a good investment. The payback time is short and the investment gives many positive side effects such as less energy consumption, better working environment and it needs less space in the factory.
/

Ölmeby, Sara, Weber Hansson, Jessica January 2018 (has links)
This thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with a specialist physician and Hälsoteknikcentrum Halland. The project is a part of an innovation project which involves developing a health scanner that will be able to carry out standard measurements on patients and thereby facilitate and streamline healthcare. The part in this report concerns the development of the booth itself for the complete product as well as the attachment of the technology. The thesis objective is about developing a concept that automatically adjusts the instruments depending on the patient being measured, as well as creating an optimal environment where the measurements can be performed correctly. By using brainstorming and a functional analysis, a number of concepts could be developed. These were then evaluated against the analysis and further developed to match the specification of requirements and other guidelines. The result was a booth, adapted for both sitting and standing positions, with an automatically closing folding wall and with an arm that keeps the patient at the right distance from the measuring devices. The project has also included an investigation of, as well as discussion about, the materials and manufacturing methods that may be used in a future production of the concept. The result was a virtual model, ready to be used for the production of a real-size prototype. In addition, the model was also used to visualize the concept in the form of images and animations made in KeyShot 6.

Sjunesson, Christian, Sundström, Wilhelm January 2018 (has links)
Fixtures are an essential part of the manufacturing industry. They enable repetability and high tolerances for mass production. Fixtures are expensive especially the CAD-design which is the part this project focuses on. In a way to reduce the cost of construction, Gothenburg-based Prodtex has developed a software for CATIA, which simplifies many tasks and saves the designer a lot of time. Prodtex gave us the task of finding the time saving between working with and without their software. In order to produce a good result, we created a customized method for the task. The method begins with a study in fixture construction and education at Prodtex. To simulate experienced designers and get more stable measurement data, the fixture was constructed with both methods without timing at first. This was then followed by repeated construction in CATIA both with and without Prodtex software. The result of the timing during the construction showed that for the exact same work, the software saved 86% of the working time from start to finish. There are improvement possibilities for the software, but also benefits that are not seen in the timing. Impact from the human error is significantly reduced when the software manages repetitive tasks such as import, naming and verify, all of which the software manages automatically.
