Od smyslového prožitku k transcendentálnímu ve vybraných dílech: A. Gida (Les nourritures terrestres) a J.M.G. Le Clézia (L'extase matérielle) / From the sensual experience to the transcendental one in the selected works by: A. Gide and J.M.G. Le Clézio

Vrchovecká, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Jana Vrchovecká: From the sensual experience to the transcendental one The tradition of sensualism or vitalism is rarely represented in the French literature. During the twentieth century several authors tried to revive this tendency. The first apologist was André Gide, whose work Les Nourritures terrestres (1893) was considered as a doctrine of the sensual attitude, and for its spiritual overlap it was even called The New evangel. The deification of the material aspect of the reality becomes the link with the last holder of the Nobel Literature Prize: Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio. In his early essay: L'Extase matérielle (1968) he also exalts the sensual experience as the base of the transcendental one. The first part of the work compares the authors' sensual attitude in the mentioned works by the analyse of the particular senses. The synchronic participation of all them should provoke the second state of consciousness whose first grade is the ecstasy and the most desired one is the prophetic mind. The second part analyses the factors that contribute to this double objective. The necessary condition is the anchoring in the present moment. Both the authors worship the cult of the Sun which substitutes the traditional notion of the God. However, the individual must also cut out the bonds that impede...

Determinanty chudoby v České republice / Determinants of poverty in the Czech Republic

Chválová, Martina January 2016 (has links)
DETERMINANTS OF POVERTY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC Abstract In this thesis we present the determinants and the current state of poverty in the Czech Republic in 2014. We clearly set out the definition of poverty and delimit various concepts of poverty, that is the old and the new concept of poverty, the subjective versus the objective one, the absolute versus the relative concept, as well as the direct and the indirect plus the prescriptive and the consensual poverty. We also introduce various ways to measure poverty. A substantial part of the theoretical section focuses on the introduced methods and definitions of particular indicators (the at risk of poverty rate, the relative median at risk of poverty gap, the Gini coefficient, the income quintile share ratio, the material deprivation rate). We have used the method of logistic regression and the processed data which were gained from the project Životní podmínky 2014 (The Living Conditions 2014) and EU-SILC 2014. At the same time, still in the theoretical part of the thesis, we also dealt with the causes of poverty and the attitudes towards the poor as sociology, psychology and ethics view them. The analysis has proved that, based on equivalised household income, persons living in households in villages with 2 000-4 999 inhabitants are susceptible to poverty...

My aim was not only to give the interpretation of basic institutes and instruments of protection of personality but also to show more extensive circumstances of this topic, set into relevant judicial cases and European aspects. I quit the part regarding constitutional law which creates a basis for another law adjustment and other basic grounds because I have already dealt with them in my previous dissertations. Chapter one attempts to provide an introduction to the topic of my dissertation giving overview of all chapters. Chapter two and three are denoted to the basic institutions relating to the protection of personality, moral and material satisfaction. They show the meaning of the institutions and also give readers the introduction to these problems. Chapter four provides an important introduction to the history of protection of...

Hromádková, Václava January 2018 (has links)
Poverty of Czech seniors Abstract Poverty is a relevant topic even in developed countries, which it needs to be deal with. In the following diploma thesis I will introduce some definitions and concepts of poverty and material deprivation. I will also deal with process of demographic ageing and a development of senior's population in the Czech Republic. The intention of the analytical part of this diploma thesis is to capture a level of poverty and material deprivation of Czech seniors in year 2014, using at-risk- of-poverty rate and material deprivation rate. I will focus on the following question: "Which group of seniors based on gender, marital status, age and education is threatened the most by poverty or material deprivation". I will describe the level of poverty and material deprivation in different regions of the Czech Republic. I also will compare differences between seniors and the whole population in the sense of the level of poverty and material deprivation. This thesis uses data from the Czech Statistical Office, particularly the data from the Population Cenzus in years 2001 and 2011 and also the data from the household survey called Living condition in year 2014. Požární ochrana v obci se zaměřením na ekonomické zabezpečení a materiální vybavení jednotek požární ochrany v Jihočeském kraji / Municipality fire protection with a view to economic assurance and material equipment of fire brigade units in the South Bohemian Region

FRÜHAUFOVÁ, Lenka January 2008 (has links)
An important municipality tool for performing the rescue actions and for removing the disas-ter consequences, as well as, performing the population protection tasks, is a local voluntary fire brigade established and operated by a municipality in accordance with the Fire Protection Act. Municipal expenses designed for operation of these units include the region{\crq}s subsidies, investment and non-investment subsidies of the state and regional budget and municipality funding. This dissertation is aimed to compare the costs incurred by South Bohemian Region municipalities within their own competence to ensure the readiness for action of fire brigades in order to cover the regional fire protection territory in accordance with applicable legisla-tion. The thesis describes legal aspects of establishing the voluntary fire brigades, character-izes individual unit categories, providing details of their principal tasks. It also briefly com-ments on the budget-related rules for territorial regional administrative units and their budget structure, deals with the internal unit organization and informs on how the readiness for action is ensured. It presents results of the questionnaire survey and makes an analysis of the fire protection costs in 2006 and 2007 and of budgeted costs for 2008. The comparison with re-sults of another author dissertation and statistical yearbooks is also provided. The results, re-commendations and legal deficiencies are included at the end of the thesis.

Efekt materiální prosperity na štěstí: Evidence z Evropy / The effect of material prosperity on happiness: Evidence from Europe

Rečková, Dominika January 2017 (has links)
Easterlin paradox referring to relatively stable levels of happiness and increasing in come over time, although these two seem to be correlated at one point in time has became a hot topic among economist researches in recent decades. The thesis ex tends the usual income analysis to reveal the nature of correlations between material prosperity and happiness. Series of 15 OLS, ordered probit and ordered logit models together with 35 quantile regressions provide a complex analysis of possible happi ness drivers. Results find significant correlations between material prosperity and happiness, and between happiness and social life. The relationship between income and happiness might be non-linear and influenced by various factors. Happiness is found to be dependent on relative income and socio-politic living environment which explains the Easterlin paradox. Umělecké řemeslo Střední Asie na příkladu sbírky Náprstkova muzea / Arts and Crafts of Central Asia on the Example of the Náprstek's Museum Colection

Hejzlarová, Tereza January 2014 (has links)
The Central-Asian region, in current geo-political signification understood as the territory of five Post-Soviet states: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and partially of Kazakhstan, has went through a very rich and colorful historical development. During this development it has absorbed many different culture impulses and influences that helped the region to develop conditions for the formation of a distinctive artistic expression. To a certain extent, we can observe continuity in the development of traditional arts and crafts professions since early historical times until today. Among the most important craft branches we need to mention textile production, involving carpet weaving, processing of felt, fabrics and embroideries, and also artistic metal processing represented particularly by the jewelry production and last but not least, ceramics production. Arts and crafts have always had a very important position in the history and culture of Central Asia. Craftwork has been a subject of trade for a very long time period here, this fact being enhanced by the geographical position as well, since the region is situated on the route of the famous Silk Road. Arts and craft production, which comprised of common goods but also exclusive products of high artistic value, intended for the...
