The problem in this thesis is to find out which of three of (the Chinese fourteenth Century painter) Wang Meng's paintings in the Palace Collection in Taiwan, is the original or "least-corrupted" and which the copies. They are hanging scrolls, ink and slight colour on paper, approximately four feet by two feet titled Hua-ch'i yü-yin. The aim is to show that by using Western scientific art history analysis some advance is possible; and the results may help in establishing pivot points, called here "prime objects", necessary for establishing a history of styles for Chinese painting. Materials used were photographs taken by the University of Michigan, Department of History of Art in 1965-6 in Taipei, Taiwan. Methods used were those standard for western art historians, adapted for Chinese paintings and now being put into practice by Professor Wen Fong of Princeton. Data was gathered from translations of ancient critics in China by 0. Siren and discussions of these by Sherman Lee, James Cahill, Richard Edwards and others. But most important was a detailed, energetic and time consuming study of the reproductions of the three paintings, and the application of Professor Wen Fong's reasoning to this study. It was found that internal, painting-style, analysis was supported by external, colophon-seal findings, to give a more convincing result. Thank you. / Due to the direct magnetic connection of the high-latitude ionosphere to the outer magnetosphere, a great deal of knowledge of the physics and properties of magnetospheric regions and the fundamental plasma processes operating within them can be learned from studying low-altitude particle measurements. In this thesis the temporal and spatial aspects of the low-altitude auroral particle precipitation are investigated using a unique set of particle flux observations from two Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) spacecraft in the same orbit but with varying time separation. Three different topics are investigated in this study: auroral stability, the accuracy of the Newell-Meng criteria for region identification, and the relative importance of various magnetopause reconnection models. In the first part the prevalent timescales and spatial dimensions of low-altitude auroral formations are examined using both electron and ion data. It is found that spatial scales larger than 50-100 km are stable for up to 1.5 minutes, while smaller size features vary more rapidly. In the second topic we explore quantitative and qualitative aspects of the Newell-Meng criteria. The flexibility and limitations of the numerical values used are examined with case and statistical studies; all but one are found to be sufficiently robust. Additionally, an expansion of the criteria to include a distinction between open and closed magnetic field line geometries is considered. The last part concentrates on the evaluation of currently proposed models of magnetopause reconnection, based on a case study of ion and electron low-altitude particle reconnection signatures. We conclude that a unique combination of the multiple x-line and bursty single x-line reconnection models is required for a full interpretation of the data. This scenario also provides a comprehensive mechanism for the formation of the low-latitude boundary layer on both open and closed field lines. Finally, the common conclusion of all three studies is that two-point measurements add considerably to our understanding of the low-altitude auroral environment and thereby, the remote processes governing its dynamics. / 2031-01-01

研究著的：在馮夢龍的小說方面，有些人已經研究過，然而戲曲方面的研究仍相當欠 缺•馮夢龍在戲曲導演上的成就在當時劇壇頗為特出，他十分注重劇場上的實際搬演 ，對排場、音律、演員演技、舞台美術，乃至效果的利用等，投注莫大的苦心•本文 即研究他的戲曲理論並分析內容與技巧• 研究文獻：本文所採取之資絡來源，乃雙雄記、墨憨齋定本傳奇，南詞新譜，中原音 韻及其他馮夢龍之著作，以此為主要研究文獻． 研究方法：此可分為二點來說明．一、為從馮夢龍之傳奇及其他馮夢龍之著作，研究 他的戲劇理論．二、為分析雙雄記的內容及技巧；而且對照其分析內容與他的戲劇理 論． 研究內容及研究結果：第一章，緒論，本章記敘傳奇之名稱及形式，並介紹明代戲劇 搬演•第二章，討論馮夢龍之生平與著作•第三章，分析馮夢龍之戲劇理論•馮夢龍 很關心劇場上的實際情況．這是在當時劇壇上頗為特出的•此處分為創作論、聲律論 、演出論來說明他的戲劇理論•第四章，雙雄記在劇本文學上之成就，此處說明成劇 時代、劇情概要、劇情主題及劇中人物•他企圖利用戲劇的諷喻，以回復社會的正常 •郎雙記之主題為「義俠、忠節」•第五章，雙雄記在劇場藝術上的成就•此章分析 雙雄記之結構、音律、辭藻、雙雄記中之科介與砌末，而且說蒙劇本中之動作表情的 提示，歌舞雜伎的穿插•第六章，結論，透過上文之研討，討論雙雄記之評價及馮夢 龍在劇壇上之成就•
