Made available in DSpace on 2015-03-05T12:06:14Z (GMT). The thesis analyzes the social representations on the Muckers, in the period of time between the outcome of the conflict, in 1874, up to current days. The Mucker conflict definitely marked the history of the current town of Sapiranga/RS, in which the conflict happened. Having this question as a starting point, we investigated how representations on the Muckers have been produced at different times and contexts, the appearance of different versions on them, as well as the construction and manipulation of social imaginary on the episode and its characters by the community of Sapiranga town. We especially focused on the representations which were constructed and spread out on the scene of the conflict, the Ferrabraz Hill, and on two of its main characters, Jacobina Maurer and Genuíno Sampaio. We considered the different diffusion ways of these representations, such as historiography, literature, press, cinema and also art, connecting them to their production context and to the interests of different social group

The status of the Jewish law in the messianic era from the Biblical period to the seventeenth century /

Pardo, Deborah Elaine. January 2001 (has links)
This thesis covers the status of the Jewish law in the messianic era as it was anticipated in Jewish texts from the biblical period until the seventeenth century. Although the predominant perspective is the law's perpetuity, a future idealized version was particularized in each age and stylized by various groups. The view of the law's continuity was challenged by streams of thought and ambiguities in the texts that allowed for changes and cessations in the law in messianic times. Concrete messianic movements, such as that of the New Testament in the first century and the Sabbatean movement of the seventeenth century, brought some of these underlying currents to the forefront with their reinterpretations of the law and their antinomian behaviour.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Marta Rodrigues Alves Marciano.pdf: 1305938 bytes, checksum: 45e8831d32b984dc83ae9b122bd240d6 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-06-22 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / Fundação São Paulo - FUNDASP / The aim of this dissertation is study the Messianic Judaism, a religious group which is characterized by believing in Yeshua (Jesus, in Hebrew) as the Messiah, while is considered a strand of the Judaism. Since they believe in Yeshua as being Messiah, would they have a Christology? This study contemplates the possibility of distinction in the Messianic Judaism theology, which the major hypothesis is: Messianic Jews have a view in the idea of that Messiah approaches more of Messianology than of a Christology. A qualitative research was conducted on the basis of the literature review on the subject. And for that, were selected as Messianic texts for this analysis the Messianic Jewish Manifest, by Rabbi David Stern and the first two volumes of Jewish Objections Against Jesus, by Rabbi Michael Brown. It was discussed concepts such as dogmatic Christology and Messianology, as this last concept was being proposed by David Flusser in addition to checking the convergences and divergences of the idea of the Messiah for Judaism, Christianity and Messianic Judaism in the first century AD. It was also reported about history of the Messianic-Jewish movement. The collected data throughout this research should be considered to point out to the fact that Messianic-Jewish thought about the Messiah does not seem to correspond to Christological thinking.
