The Ex 2,15c-22d narrative brings the listener-reader, scenes and characters involved in a surprising plot. Depending on this, emerges with great role Moses' character, which, throughout the narrative, restless and asks the listener-reader with their behavior. Thus, the narrative presents some moral models that can be assimilated or not the listener-reader. In addition, the research focuses on some other elements that make up the narrative, namely: geographical and historical-archaeological, especially as regards the location of Midian, where will develop the whole narrative studied here. Want with what the listener-reader seek a better understanding of the context in which the story takes place. In addition, the plot details are studied and how the narrator's voice intertwines with the direct and intense speeches of the characters, along with Moses, assume prominence in different parts of the narrative. Finally, it is expected to discover in the text lines narrated, theological reflection that emerges from it / A presente pesquisa, fruto de um estudo literário e histórico-teológico de um texto do livro do Êxodo 2,15c-22d, tem como objetivo, concentrar-se, de um modo especial, às caracteristicas que são atribuídos ao personagem, que assume o protagonismo da história. A narrativa de Ex 2,15c-22d traz, ao ouvinte-leitor, cenas e personagens envolvidos numa trama surpreendente. Consoante a isso, emerge com grande protagonisto o personagem de Moisés, o qual, ao longo da narrativa, inquieta e questiona o ouvinte-leitor com seu comportamento. Desse modo, a narrativa apresenta alguns modelos morais que podem ser assimilados ou não pelo ouvinte-leitor. Além disso, a pesquisa se debruça sobre alguns outros elementos que compõem a narrativa, a saber: geográficos e os históricos-arqueológicos, sobretudo no que se refere a localização de Madiã, lugar onde se desenvolverá toda a narrativa aqui estudada. Deseja-se com isso que o ouvinte-leitor busque uma melhor percepção do contexto em que se passa a narrativa. Além disso, são estudados os detalhes da trama e a maneira como a voz do narrador se entrelaça com os discursos diretos e intensos dos personagens que, junto a Moisés, assumem destaque nas diversas partes da narrativa.
