  • The Global ETD Search service is a free service for researchers to find electronic theses and dissertations. This service is provided by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations.
Our metadata is collected from universities around the world. If you manage a university/consortium/country archive and want to be added, details can be found on the NDLTD website.

Nanomateriály na bázi oxidu titaničitého / Titania-based nanomaterials

Zabloudil, Adam January 2015 (has links)
Titanium dioxide colloid with a size of particles between 20 - 40 nm was prepared. Subsequently, three substances were syntetized - methylen bis(phosphonic) acid H4L1 , 4-phosphono-butyric acid H3L2 and 4-hydroxy-4,4-diphosphono-butyric acid H5L3 . Surface of the colloidal nanoparticles was modified using these substances (H4L1 , H3L2 and H5L3 ). Then stability of these systems was studied using acid-base titration and addition of calcium ions. Keywords: TiO2, nanoparticles, surface modification

Porovnání hydrotermické a chemické plastifikace dřeva

Rousek, Radim January 2015 (has links)
The process of wood plasticization and densification has been known for decades. It is used for improvement of mechanical properties of low density wood. The objective of this study is to compare two different methods of wood plasticization. Specimens made of European beech wood (Fagus sylvatica) were plasticized by hot steam or gaseous ammonia and then compressed in tangential direction. Stress-strain behaviour during compression was evaluated. In this study influence of growth ring angle on densification process was also investigated. Gaseous ammonia at a pressure of 0.2 MPa was less efficient than hot steam. The best plasticizing effect was reached by combining these two methods. A growth ring angle of 15° from direction of compression (almost tangential) was evaluated as the best for densification of European beech wood.

Principy cílené úpravy vlastností vrstvovitých materiálů / Principles targeted Edit the properties of layered materials

Houžvíček, Petr January 2016 (has links)
Target of the thesis was an investigation of the influence of selected factors (tree species, thickness of material, type of glue and cyclic loading) and their combinations on strength properties of laminated lumber. This measured properties were: bending strength, modulus of elasticity, limit of proportionality, coefficient of bendability and shear strength of glued joint. Most important factor for bending strength, modulus of elasticity and limit of proportionality was the tree species. For coefficient of bendability and shear strength of glued joint the most important was the material thickness. Influence of cyclic loading and type of glue, weren´t proved. After that, we simulated our investigation which we made in computer program based on finite element method. The simulation corresponded just for thicker tested samples.

Studium ubiquitinace proteinů DELLA

Breineková, Alžběta January 2016 (has links)
Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) of proteins represent fascinating extensions of the dynamic complexity of living cells' proteomes, but also present a solid obstacle in the proteome analysis. Identification and mapping of PTMs in proteins have improved dramatically, but to comprehend complex mechanisms and biological functions, one must address also a very low abundant proteins. Here, in this thesis entitled 'Analysis of DELLA protein ubiquitination' we demonstrate the use of a recombinant protein standard for the determination of in vivo modified peptides of the DELLA family protein RGA. The candidate peptide sequences were targeted in an SRM-based analysis to detect the ubiquitination site and the results of this analysis and that of an MS/MS data processing indicate that the modification is localized in the conserved N-terminal region of RGA protein.
