Percepce dopadů dálnice D3 představiteli obcí / Perception of D3 motorway impacts by municipal representatives

Vrtiška, Miroslav January 2015 (has links)
Perception of D3 motorway impacts by municipal representatives Abstract The thesis analyzes in detail the perception of the impact of D3 motorway by the representatives of the affected municipalities, who represent three different parts of society - community leaders, a representative of business and general population. The expected impacts of a new motorway in the given area are discussed with technical bibliography, which provided the basis for research questions and hypotheses. Field research was conducted in municipalities, which will yet be affected by the planned D3 motorway, and in municipalities in Central and Southern Bohemia, where part of D3 motorway had already been completed. Semi-structured interviews and questionnaires were used as the main research tools. The finding about the perception of the D3 motorway in the affected municipalities were based on detailed analysis of statistical data and in-depth analysis of the interviews. The findings show that the resulting perception of the impact varies depending on various aspects like geographical aspects, such as the location of the village (with regard to the highway route) or the population size of the municipality. Generally speaking, the motorway is positively perceived by municipalities that are currently substantially burdened by heavy...

Ekonomické hodnocení dopravních staveb v ČR / Economic efficiency analysis of traffic buildings in Čzech republic

Němeček, Petr January 2010 (has links)
In my work, I would like to focus on the way of evaluating economic efficiency of traffic buildings in Czech republic. This evaluation is in responsibility of Czech Directorate of Motorways and Highways DG. Evaluation is made by HDM-4 (Highway Development and Management version 1.30)aplication. Its funkcionality is provided by employees of Directorate but Reports of economic efficiency are made by private companies.Making projects in this software is quite difficult task, because of big amount of information which are required. Main aim of this work is to find out if this kind of analysis is appropriate for Czech road network or if there are some problems or difficulties in using HDM-4.

Estimation of a risk profile to operatives and the public from motorway hard-shoulder incursions

Michalaki, Paraskevi January 2017 (has links)
This project focuses on the risk to the operatives and the public arising from hard-shoulder incursions on motorways, which are defined as the temporary violation of this lane by a vehicle travelling on the nearside lane. Even though interest has been raised around safety when stopping on the hard-shoulder, there is no significant research conducted to investigate and quantify this risk. In this EngD project, motorway hard-shoulder accidents were investigated individually from the main traffic lanes to explore the factors affecting their severity and likelihood and identify potential differences using discrete choice and time-series modelling techniques. Based on the safety triangle theory, it was assumed that eliminating the contributory factors for injury accidents would also minimise the risk of hard-shoulder incursions, which were used as a risk indicator. An observation-based survey was conducted to gain initial knowledge on the frequency of incursions within a motorway stretch and also basic conditions that may affect the severity as well. Further to the survey, in order to collect hard-shoulder incursion data automatically, potential vehicle detection solutions were investigated. A radar sensor-based system was identified as the most suitable for this purpose and was adapted to suit the project s requirements. The sensor was installed on a motorway site, following a series of requirements to ensure safe and effective deployment. The data collected from the radar sensor were processed to minimise the errors and then corresponded to the traffic related and environmental data available for the same period of time. Using the Generalised Linear Autoregressive Moving Average model, the final models developed provided the factors that mostly affect the occurrence of hard-shoulder incursions. The main factors are temperature, humidity, traffic composition and average speed on the main carriageway. Using these models it is possible to quantify the risk and forecast when this will be minimised at a particular motorway section at any time. The risk is estimated according to the explanatory variables proposed, by inputting the predictions of these conditions in the model. This model is a tool that may then allow the operatives to be deployed on the network in the safest manner, according to the levels of tolerable risk.

Anticiper et évaluer la durabilité des transports internationaux de fret : le rôle des Autoroutes de la Mer dans la réduction des émissions routières sur les hinterlands portuaires de Gênes et de Marseille / Anticipate and assess the sustainable of freight international transportation : the task of Motorways of the Sea in road pollutant reduction on the Genoa and Marseilles hinterlands

Ndayishimiye, Juste 29 June 2015 (has links)
The Mediterranean ports had become the European entry gate and the intermodal space. The quantities and volume growth of freight rise congestion problems. The organizational solutions implemented, haven’t brough only derisory and inefficient solution. This thesis wonders about the durability of transport and logistic spatial structures in the optics of the sustainable transport implementation and the development of the coastal spaces around the harbor port cities. It concentrates on the evaluation of the spatial and temporal evolution of the territorial potential of the exchanges between territories, to the methods of modal choice by a gravity model and to the modal accessibility offer. The results show a very high structural evolution of the potential in the coastal departments and from infrastructures and superstructures of freight transportation. We demonstrate the existence of a large party of road market transferable towards MoS. The costs of transport and the importance of markets stay two main explanatory factors of the MoS evolution markets. The flow orientation by MoS is the consequence of this spatial structuration.

Konverze brněnského úseku I/52 na D52 / Conversion of the road I/52 to motorway D52

Sejkora, Jan January 2018 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose a modification of the road I / 52 between the junction with the D1 motorway and Rajhrad on the D52 motorway in a way that a continuous highway can be created without the need to create an alternative route over the southern tangent in route Wien-Prague and D2 and also to design routes for transport which cannot enter the highway. The other aim is to define the problem elements and create a variant solution.

Rutschsichere Böschungen

Kammel, Enrico, Engel, Jens 25 July 2014 (has links) (PDF)
