The thesis brings self-contained review of the bank regulation and control. The first part deals with the theory of the bank regulation and control and then the regulation and control of the bank sector in the Czech Republic is introduced. Next part deals with the brief analysis of the formation and development of the global financial crisis in the USA and chosen European countries. The last part introduces the changes in the field of the bank regulation and control that arose after the break out of the finacial crisis in the European Union. The conclusion of the thesis to a certain degree includes the attutide of the Czech Government and the Czech National Bank towards the newly introduced arrangements.

The work overviews the formation process of the European integration after the end of the Cold war and also the evolution of the notion of 'the Westphalian sovereignty' in the framework of the maintenance of the EU CFSP. It is assumed that under the conditions of a political transformation of the category 'the Westphalian sovereignty' in the framework of the EU CFSP it is intensified and requires again as a special political and practical attention, as scientific elaboration in order to figure out the perspectives of the development of the EU as the whole. As the object of this work the category of 'the Westphalia sovereignty' and its evolution in the framework of the European integration processes are taken. The subject of the work is connected with the analysis of the phenomenon of the Westphalian sovereignty in the frames of building of common European defense and security policy of the EU. The main purpose of the work is closely entwined with the identification of significant peculiarities of the ongoing transformation of the CFSP and their influence on the category of 'the Westphalian sovereignty'.

Sociální cestovní ruch v krajích České republiky / Social tourism in the regions of the Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current support for the social tourism in the Czech Republic in terms of its spatial layout and verification of achieving the goals associated with this concept. The theoretical part includes defining the concept of tourism, its typology, management and connection to the regional development. Further attention is given to social tourism, its principles, recent developments, the basic features and examples of its support in European countries. The practical part deals with the support for social tourism in the Czech Republic, both at the regional and national level. It includes an analysis of the National Programme for the Promotion of Tourism 2010--2013 in terms of the distribution of subsidies allocated to the regions, target groups and product types. It also includes a summary of the results of the survey, which was carried out by the grant recipient. The conclusion includes the evaluation of the success of this program and proposes recommendations for its further development. For the evaluation of the current support are used methods such as comparison, analysis of statistical data and field research. During analysis of statistical indicators were used data of Czech Statistical Office, Ministry of Regional Development, regional strategic concepts of tourism development and the data obtained from author's own field research.

Měnová intervence ČNB ve světovém kontextu / CNB Monetary Intervention in Global Context

This diploma thesis describes the intervention of the Czech National Bank in November 2013 in terms of current economic theory and practice as well as its justification. In the first theoretical part is presented actual literature dealing with the zero lower bound (ZLB). This part is divided to general description of ZLB, its prevention and possibilities of monetary policy. Further are described experiences from Japan and other countries which achieved ZLB. In this context is also presented intervention made by the Czech National Bank. Hypothesis whether the intervention was justified is tested by linear and nonlinear Taylor rule. Estimate is made by the least squares method using quarterly data from the CSO and CNB. The results of model confirm the hypothesis, which means that the optimal monetary policy interest rate would fall below zero.

The main goal of the diploma thesis "Postal services within the internal market of the EU" is to evaluate the scope of liberalization of postal services in the member states of the EU. It describes the position of national postal providers on their home market. The second goal of the thesis is to compare the company (business) strategies used by the postal operators. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the theory of services, the theory of liberalization, the theory of postal services and the legislation of the EU (focusing on postal services). The second chapter describes the situation on the postal market within the member states. The third one interprets the success of the strategies of postal companies and the current situation regarding liberalization. The fourth chapter focuses on vision of future development of the postal market.

The diploma thesis deals with the national identity of the post-Soviet generation of Belarusians. It is a group of people that is specific in that they were born after the fall of the Soviet Union and lived almost their entire life under the rule of Alexander Lukashenko. In the presented work I will focus on the comparison of the national identity of two groups of representatives of this generation. The first is a group of Belarusians living in Belarus and the second is a group of Belarusians living in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis will be to find out whether the representatives of the post-Soviet generation of Belarusians living in Belarus and the representatives of Belarusians living in the Czech Republic share a uniform definition of national identity. In order to answer this research question, a qualitative research was conducted with respondents from the ranks of Belarusians living in Belarus and Belarusians living in the Czech Republic. The research is focused on the categories that are traditionally considered to be pillars of national identity. These categories include, for example, the national language, historical identity, relationship to surrounding nations or relationship to national identity presented by President Lukashenko.

National identity is an important part of not only newly created state's identification and is reflected also in its foreign policy. This diploma thesis deals with the external (re)construction of Slovenian national identity within a political discourse since 1991, when Slovenia gained its independence till 2004, when it was integrated into the EU. The subjects of interest are addresses and texts of the country's top political officials, presidents, prime ministers and ministers of foregin affairs, who were involved in a presentation of the country abroad, and documents of foregin policy. The main aim of the thesis is to answer the question how the Slovenian national identity was being constructed on the outside and what was the goal of this conctruction using the Critical discourse analysis of mentioned sources. At the beginning of 1990s Slovenes gained for the first time in history their independent state and they had to cope with many problems such as their long-standing Yugoslavian history and existence as a part of the Eastern Bloc, geographical location on the crossroad of European regions or its immediate neighbourhood of the disturbed and negatively perceived Balkans. The diploma thesis deals with a case study of the development of a mobile audio guide for the expositions of the National Museum. In the theoretical part, the author focuses on defining the basic concepts related to the topic of a case study of a mobile guide for cultural institutions, which include concepts such as culture, digital culture and its connection with technology. Subsequently, the author deals with a general introduction of mobile applications, the history of such designed applications and also the first examples of the use of mobile applications in galleries and museums. The main emphasis is placed on the procedures of mobile application development with a focus on the individual phases of the process, chronological sequence and at the same time technological extensions that can be used to achieve a more intensive visitor experience. The third chapter includes the current state of mobile applications of foreign museums. The practical part describes in detail the process of designing a mobile application in the form of a case study of a mobile guide for the National Museum.
