No. of bitstreams: 1 JoseKCO_DISSERT.pdf: 2360607 bytes, checksum: ad43aaed1b6651cd3d8e3ffe4e2f5b67 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-05-04 / The sanitation companies from Brazil has a great challenge for the XXI century: seek to mitigate the rate of physical waste (water, chemicals and electricity) and financial waste caused by inefficient operating systems drinking water supply, considering that currently we already face, in some cases, the scarcity of water resources. The supply systems are increasingly complex as they seek to minimize waste and at the same time better serve the growing number of users. However, this technological change is to reduce the complexity of the challenges posed by the need to include users with higher quality and efficiency in services. A major challenge for companies of water supplies is to provide a good quality service contemplating reducing expenditure on electricity. In this situation we developed a research by a method that seeks to control the pressure of the distribution systems that do not have the tank in your setup and the water comes out of the well directly to the distribution system. The method of pressure control (intelligent control) uses fuzzy logic to eliminate the waste of electricity and the leaks from the production of pumps that inject directly into the distribution system, which causes waste of energy when the consumption of households is reduced causing the saturation of the distribution system. This study was conducted at Green Club II condominium, located in the city of Parnamirim, state of Rio Grande do Norte, in order to study the pressure behavior of the output of the pump that injects water directly into the distribution system. The study was only possible because of the need we had to find a solution to some leaks in the existing distribution system and the extensions of the respective condominium residences, which sparked interest in developing a job in order to carry out the experiments contained in this research / As empresas de saneamento do Brasil t?m um grande desafio para o s?culo XXI, procurar diminuir o ?ndice de desperd?cios f?sicos (?gua, produtos qu?micos e energia el?trica) e financeiros causados pela inefici?ncia operacional dos sistemas de abastecimento de ?gua pot?vel, levando-se em considera??o que atualmente j? se enfrenta, em alguns casos, a escassez dos recursos h?dricos.

Analýza paralelního provozu uzlových oblastí 110 kV TR Krasíkov a TR Neznášov / Analysis of parallel operation of nodal areas of 110 kV Krasikov and Neznasov transformers stations

Kostkan, Petr January 2018 (has links)
Currently, the nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation, which belong to ČEZd distribution network 110 kV – East, are operand as separate units. In the defined setting, each nodal area comprises of two 400/110 kV transformers. In the case of failure of the transformer T401 or T402, the criterion N-1 for twenty percent of the rated output is not met. Such problem can be solved by parallel operation of nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation. The principal as well as practical aim of this thesis is to interconnect the bridge operated connection in separated areas into parallel/loop operation of nodal areas (supplied by 400/110 kV transformers). Computing software is used to calculate the steady state and short-circuit conditions in the distribution network 110 kV for separate and parallel operation of mentioned nodal areas. Power flow analysis is aimed at assessment and evaluation of voltage conditions, transformers loading (400/110 kV and 110/vn) as well as 110 kV lines loading. Obtained short-circuit indices is used to examine short-circuit, withstand capability of the 110 kV substation. Finally, benefits as well as drawbacks of the separate and parallel operation are compared and evaluated. If necessary, the technical arrangements are proposed/designed in order to allow parallel operation of nodal areas Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation.

Ustálený chod a zkratové poměry v síti 110 kV E.ON napájené z rozvodny 110 kV Otrokovice v roce 2011 / Stabilized operation and short - circuit conditions within E.ON 110 kV power network supplied from Otrokovice 110kV switching station, during the period of 2011

Jurča, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
Distribution network 110 kV owned by E. ON in the area Otrokovice; powered by 110 kV and two variants of involvement contained. The first option is basic involvement, without the use of the bridge. The second option includes involvement with the bridge. The aim of this study is to compare; by calculating the steady-state network operation and short circuit conditions of the network, the involvement of these two options. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of a description of the steady operation of networks of high-voltage and short circuit ratio calculations. Load flow calculations are described by the Gauss-Seidel and Newton iterative method. In the case of short-circuit conditions, the effects of their characteristic values, processes and various methods of calculation are described. In the second part, this theoretical knowledge is applied to input data and dispatching programme with the appropriate calculations of network operation and short circuit conditions. The calculated values are listed in the thesis, on the basis of which an evaluation of the two possible connections is made.

Distribuční soustava Kypru - realizovatelnost obnovitelných zdrojů a přenos energie / Distribution system of Cyprus - feasibility of renewable energy sources and transfer of energy

Šimonová, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
Until a few decades ago few people could imagine that the photovoltaic, solar thermal and other power based on renewable resources, will become a reality. Today people from all over the world on the contrary try at full blast derive benefit from of all possible available source. Using sunlight as a source of energy is first enforced only for small devices such as calculators for charging the battery, but now we are able to produced energy from the sun to supply people around the world. Of course it is not possible supply consumer sector plus firm only from performances renewable power supply. Therefore endeavour is derive benefit from classical energy production at the same time with others power supply. The basic components of photovoltaic and solar thermal power are panels. The panels are made of different materials in different shapes and sizes. During production, the resulting effect looks in addition to costs associated with production. For photovoltaic and solar thermal power plant requires sufficient sunlight. The sunshine has biggest intensity on south of ours planets. Therefore endeavour is build lump these power station just in stand with bigger intensity sunshine. One of them is just Cyprus, too.
