Em termos gerais, atenta para as principais tipificações de sua escrita musical, especialmente o caráter miniatural. Para tanto, estrutura-se em três partes: O compositor e a obra é um estudo que realiza um delineamento biográfico do compositor, percorrendo diferentes períodos da formação e reconhecendo eventos que atuaram no seu desenvolvimento artístico. Intenciona disponibilizar o contexto histórico-estético de sua produção; A miniatura musical, conceito e histórico busca a designação (e conceitualização) de termo miniatura na historiografia da música ocidental, localizando-o especialmente no período romântico - onde demonstra firmar-se enquanto gênero musical definido; A miniatura em Nilson Lombardi é a parte do estudo que verifica os recursos composicionais empregados na elaboração dessas obras. Desenvolve uma metodologia de análise que considera os conceitos levantados na seção anterior do trabalho e, concomitantemente com as premissas descritas pelo autor, realiza uma investigação que configura o termo miniatura na obra para piano do compositor. / The present research proposes a reflection regarding the piano solo works of the paulista composer Nilson Lombardi. In general terms, it deals with the main characteristics of his musical writing, with especial attention to its miniatural character. In order to achieve that, this work is divided into three parts. Composer and his works is a study about Lombardi's biography, including different moments of his formation and recognizing events that had taken a place in his production. the second part, Musical miniature, its concept and its history aims to describe and to concept the term miniature throughout occidental music historiography, but specially dating it into the romantic period, when it seems to had been strongly established as a defined musical genre. And Miniature in Nilson Lombardi is the research part that verifies compositional resources used in his works, trough an analysis methodology that uses the concepts from the previous sections: concomitant with author's described premises, it realizes an investigation that configures and characterizes the term miniature into the piano works of Nilson Lombardi.

Uppsatsen studerar historiebruket av Amaltheadådet och gärningsmannen Anton Nilson. Metoden som andvänds för studien är en kvalitiativ innehållsanalys med hermeneutisk läsning av tidningsartiklar från 18 olika dagstidningar som skrivits varje decennium från 1918 till april 2018. Klas-Göran Karlssons teoretiska typologi om historiebruk fungerar som ett kategoriseringsverktyg för att dra en slutsats i hur Amalthea och Anton Nilson skildrats i svensk press. Karlssons ideologiska historiebrukskategori har dessutom legat till grund för studiens teoretiska ansats som menar på att bruket av Amalthea och Anton Nilson förändras med tiden och följer den ideologiska samhällsutvecklingen. Studien slår fast att Amaltheadådet och Anton Nilson i nörjan av undersåkningsperioden används som en symbol för arbetarklassens kamp mot ett system som försakat dem. När det globala och även det svenska samhället förändras efter attentatet mot World Trade Center och lastbilsattacken på Drottninggatan i Stockholm förändras också bruket av Amalthea och Anton Nilson. Vid millenieskiftet blir Amalthea och Anton Nilson en symbol för terrorismens fasor.  Amaltheadådet och Anton Nilson har från 1900-talet till 2000-talet fått ett förändrat symbolvärde. Från att vara starkt förknippad som arbetarklasshjälte och de svagas kampför rättvisa till att framställas som en radikal galning och jämställas med terrornåtvärk som IS och Al-Qaida / The essay studies the use of history concerning the Amalthea bombing and convicted offender Anton Nilson. The method used for the study is qualitative analysis of content in news articles from 18 different newspapers written every ten years from 1918 to April of 2018. The theoretic typology of Klas-Göran Karlsson regarding use of history works as a tool of categorization to form a conclusion of how the bombing of Amalthea and Anton Nilson has been portrayed in Swedish mass media. It has furthermore laid the foundation for the theory of this study. Karlssons category of ideological use of history brought the conclusion that the use of history of Anton Nilson and the bombing of Amalthea will be affected by the flow of ideological ideas throughout the time period. The study confirms that the Amalthea bombings and Anton Nilson were, in the beginning of the studies timeframe, used as a symbol for an understanding of the working-class struggle against a system that has denied there rights. At the turn of the millennium the Amalthea bombing and Anton Nilson becomes the symbol of something completely different. The Amalthea bombings and Anton Nilson becomes the symbol of the horrors concerning terrorism. The Amalthea bombings and Anton Nilson has from the 20th century to the 21th century changed in symbolism from a strong and compassionate hero to a despised radical no better than other terrorist networks like IS or Al-Qaeda.

Este trabalho é complementado com a gravação de um Compact Disc realizada pela autora da pesquisa / Abstract: The main objective of this research is to provide interpretative options of the "Ten Ponteios for Piano" by Nilson Lombardi, nationalist composer from Camargo Guarnieri composition school. For a better understanding of this process a brief account of the life and works of the composer is first presented, as well as a discussion of the Ponteio concept and the applicability of this term in Brazilian music. The methodology consists on delimitation of the procedures for analytical approach. This is a tool to contribute to a better understanding of the work and provide additional subsidies to assist and help on interpretative decisions. This essay attempts to bring the experiences of eight soldiers to light, seven of them Swedish and one English, that took part in the fighting on the western front as volunteers in the French foreign legion during World War One. The main source material consists of letters sent between these soldiers and another Swedish ex-foreign legionnaire, Sven Blom, both during Mr. Bloms recovery from wounds which put him out of service in late 1914, and through Mr. Bloms work as first secretary of the Swedish consulate in Paris, with the last letters dating to 1918. The letters, which are part of a large archive left behind by Sven Blom, are transcribed and analyzed in this essay to answer five questions posed in order to ascertain the experiences and mindset of these soldiers. Are there any common themes in the soldiers’ letters? Are there any examples where Swedish national identity is commented on by the soldiers? What is their experience of the war, and what do they choose to tell Mr. Blom about? How do they feel they are treated by the French system and French soldiers? And, what are the soldiers’ opinion of reports from the war, like their fellow Swede Elow Nilson’s articles in the Swedish newspaper Vecko-Journalen?
