Enterprising of Civic Associations in Czech Republic according to new Legal Regulation This Thesis concerns with Enterprising of Civic Associations in Czech Republic according to new legal regulation. 1st January 2014 the New Czech Civil Code comes into operation and brings alteration that affects all most of the Non-profit organizations in Czech Republic. New legal regulation provides Civic Associations possibility to transform them into another Legal Form of organization. It provides also new opportunities for Associations' business. Tato diplomová práce reaguje na chybějící poznatky o zkušenostech spotřebitelských a seniorských organizací občanské společnosti (OOS), které se zapojují do řešení problema- tiky předváděcích akcí v ČR. Práce popisuje široké spektrum aktivit OOS přímo i nepřímo působících proti fenoménu předváděcích akcí; přibližuje zkušenosti z odlišných tematických okruhů, na základě kterých identifikuje dvě hlavní témata, která i nadále negativně působí: stagnující či stoupající počty nově podvedených osob a sociální osamělost seniorů. Na základě některých společných rysů obou problémů práce upozorňuje na některé společné kořeny obou problémů, na dosavadní, zpravidla úzkou specializaci ve zvolených oborech a nezbytnost mezioborové a instrumentální spolupráce.

Im Jahre 1999 wurde die Bürgerstiftung Dresden als Plattform gegründet, um Bürgerinnen und Bürgern sowie Wirtschaftsunternehmen der Region Dresden die Möglichkeit zu geben, mehr Mitverantwortung für die Gestaltung ihres Gemeinwesens zu übernehmen. Sie führt Menschen zusammen, die sich aktiv als Stifter, Spender und ehrenamtlich engagierte Bürger für eine sozial friedliche, umweltgerechte und kulturell vielfältige Kommune einsetzen. Sie versteht sich als überparteilich und offen über konfessionelle Grenzen hinweg.

I denna studie har vi intervjuat nio polisanställda personer i syfte att undersöka hur Polismyndigheten arbetar med sexualbrott mot barn via internet. Vi studerade även hur ideella föreningars arbete påverkar Polismyndigheten. Samtliga intervjupersoner var positivt inställda till de ideella föreningarnas syfte att skydda barnen. Däremot fanns det varierande attityder gentemot deras arbetsmetoder. Resultatet av denna studie visade att de ideella föreningarna hade påverkan på Polismyndighetens arbete. De föreningar som lämnar information till polisen och utbildar samhället om barns utsatthet på nätet agerar som ett komplement till Polismyndigheten. Däremot försvårar de som konfronterar och offentliggör misstänkta polisens arbete, då den misstänkta kan radera bevismaterial och på andra sätt påverka utredningen negativt. Det fanns en variation i attityderna till dessa ideella föreningar inom Polismyndigheten; ju närmare internetrelaterade sexualbrott mot barn personen jobbar desto mer kritisk var intervjudeltagarna till vissa av de ideella föreningarnas tillvägagångssätt. Samtliga intervjupersoner belyste även föräldraansvaret. / In this study, nine police employees have been interviewed with the purpose to investigate how the Swedish police work against sexual crimes against children online. We also studied how non-profit organisations affected the police. All interviewees were positive to the non-profits’ purpose of protecting children, but less so to their methods. The results showed that non-profit organisations had an influence on police work. The organisations that provide the police with information and educate society act as a complement to the police. On the other hand, those who confront and expose potential suspects make the police’s work more difficult, as the potential suspect can delete evidence and in other ways influence the investigation negatively. There was a variation in attitudes towards the non-profits within the police. The closer you work to internet-related sexual crimes against children, the more critical they were of some non-profit organisations approach. All interviewees highlight parental responsibility.

The present thesis focuses on the development of volunteerism as a part of the professionalization of a nonprofit organization. Case study took place in the organization Pestrá společnost, which is dedicated to the training of assistance dogs and provides social services to the owners of assistance dogs. The organization uses volunteers regularly and on long-term basis. Research in this organization confirms the fact that quality management of volunteerism effectively utilizes the capacity of motivated volunteers and reduces overall financial costs. The theoretical part focuses on the professionalisation of management of volunteering through the selection and training of volunteers with regard to their motivation. It describes how the motivation of volunteers links with the aims of the organization. An organization, which is interested in linking together the motivation of volunteers and its own aims during the process of their selection and training must undoubtedly benefit from this collaboration. The practical part in the form of a case study focuses on a concrete organization. The qualitative part of the research provides specific suggestions for changes and measures that are proposed as the part of the action research.
