Světový obchod s ropou / World Trade in Crude Oil

This master´s thesis deals with trade with crude oil and its impact on the world economy. Everyone, who wants to start to trade with crude oil, should find out basic terminology and information about crude oil that is characterized in the first chapter. The hunt for oil started many years ago, therefore the history is also mentioned in this master´s thesis. The second chapter focuses on the world trade with crude oil. Territorial structure and trade flows are described in this part of the master´s thesis. Nevertheless, the crude oil also has an impact on the world economy and economies of single states. The third chapter analyses states, where the inhabitants live beyond means of people from other countries but these states are so depended on crude oil that if this trade stopped, these countries would go bankrupt. However, there are also exceptions. Even though, there are states that have huge sources of crude oil, they still have to deal with financial problems. The forth chapter characterizes the trade with crude oil of the Czech Republic because it is a net importer of crude oil and the last chapter focuses on new trends in crude oil such as shale oil and trading at a crude oil market.

The practical part includes introduction of the company and marketing mix analysis, marketing environmental analysis, which includes a significant number of subjects (competitors, suppliers, customers) and important factors (political, economic, social, technical) influencing on firm's operations. In the end will be the overall outcome of the analysis, from which will be proposing specific measures for improving and optimizing store performance.

This master thesis is focused on business environment in China from the perspective of Czech companies. The theoretical part represents basic informations that are good to know for every entrepreneur who is thinking about exporting to China. First, it introduces chinese economic situation from historical and contemporary perspective and its cooperation with the Czech Republic. Subsequently there is a describtion of industries, which still bring opportunities for Czech companies. At the end this part maps the participation of Czech companies in the Chinese market.The second part of the theory focuses on describing the opportunities to enter the Chinese market and also on how to deal with Chinese enterpreneurs. From European perspective is Chinese market still very different and it could lead to misunderstandings and business problems. Practical part of the work is to focus on a few Czech companies to describe their experience with the Chinese market and highlight the advice for other companies. Final part includes selected recommendations for enterpreneurs, which are based on interviews and questionnaires of Czech export managers dealing with China.

Master's Thesis focuses on logistic processes of e-shops. This branch is significantly developing and many sole traders and Small and Medium Enterprises join it. Due to strong competition it is necessary to find possibilities, how to be different from other e-shops. Such competition advantage can be reached with higher level of logistic services. Types of logistic chains that can be used in electronic commerce are defined in Thesis. Work of particular members of chain is described as well. Thesis also deals with evolution of e-commerce and various kinds of online retailers. I focused in great detail on function of e-shop that works according to pull-principle. Processes of this e-shop was compared with processes of e-shop that sell. goods from its stocks. The aim of this comparison was to find competition advantage that can be transfered to e-shop working without stocks. The last passage of Thesis deals with possibility of outsourcing that can make better services of e-shops.

The second part deals with transformation of foreign trade. I attend to particular periods of transformation process, development commodity and territorial structure. Further I deal with changes that came with the EU accession.Very actual is also financial crisis and effect on Czech trade. Conclusion of my master thesis evaluates export support in the time of financial crisis.

The introduction presents the groupware solution and the product IceWarp Server. The next part contains information about the Czech branch and describes the processes of customer acquisition, customer care department and technical support department. Then it is made the comparison with British branch which has the same structure. Based on the indentified shortage the new strategy is proposed in two version differing in financial cost.

This thesis deals with possible convergence/divergence in evaluation of globalization between pro-market economists (represented by author of this thesis) on the one hand and Mr. Joseph Stiglitz (major American economist) on the other hand. Taken into account and scrutinized are hereby some selected aspects of globalization, namely those treated in Joseph Stiglitz's recent book Making Globalization Work. The author, on the basis of economic theory and its application on those selected aspects, comes to conclusions that differ completely from the ones of Mr. Stiglitz. Differences and divergences in conclusions between Mr. Stiglitz and the author stem, indeed, from their individual preferences in the field of economic theory.
