ABSTRACT Mgr. Bc. Lukáš Raida The scope of so-called preventive obligations of forest owners relating to the general use of woods and the protection of surrounding properties. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the legal status, in particular with regard to jurisprudence, and to specify the scope of legal obligations of forest owners in relation to the general use of forests and the protection of surrounding properties. The thesis also includes a proposal for amendments to current legislation aimed at strengthening the position of the forest owners. On the basis of research into case law, the High Court of the Czech Republic has compiled a systematized overview of preventive obligations of the forest owners, and designed an effective system of care for the safety of the forests, accompanied by a record of carried out preventive activities. The introduction of these systemic measures significantly reduces the risk of liability for forest owners for damages incurred in general forest use, as well as damage to properties located near the forests. It was found that existing jurisprudence of the High Court, brought into effect in the Civil Code and valid until 31st December 2013, is and will remain applicable for cases of damage incurred after 31st December 2013, for effectiveness of the new Civil Code.

The blood fluke Schistosoma mansoni and the hard tick Ixodes ricinus produce an aspartic protease cathepsin D which initiates degradation of hemoglobin, their key nutrient. First, in the presented work, the protocol for refolding and activation of the zymogen of cathepsin D from I. ricinus (IrCatD) was developed and optimized. In acidic pH the propeptide of IrCatD zymogen was removed by an auto-activation mechanism. Further, a kinetic assay with fluorogenic substrates was employed to study functional properties of IrCatD including pH optimum, substrate and inhibition specificities. Second, two isoforms of cathepsin D from S. mansoni (SmCatD) were produced using recombinant expression in E. coli. These recombinant proteases were isolated from inclusion bodies using affinity chromatography under denaturating conditions, and protocol for their refolding was developed and optimized. The studied aspartic proteases are pharmacological targets: inhibitors of SmCatD represent potential chemotherapeutics for the treatment of schistosomiasis, and IrCatD is a candidate antigen for the development of novel anti-tick vaccines.

Title: Large claims modeling Author: Barbora Zuzáková Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Michal Pešta, Ph.D. Abstract: This thesis discusses a statistical modeling approach based on the extreme value theory to describe the behaviour of large claims of an insurance portfolio. We focus on threshold models which analyze exceedances of a high threshold. This approach has gained in popularity in recent years, as compared with the much older methods based directly on the extreme value distributions. The method is illustated using the group medical claims database recorded over the periods 1997, 1998 and 1999 maintained by the Society of Actuaries. We aim to demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms classical parametric distri- butions and thus enables to estimate high quantiles or the probable maximum loss more precisely. This thesis is focused on services in informatics, especially their global concept and mutual contingency. In this issue there is one main aim but there can be found more minor goals without as high importance as main one. The particular goals are specification of different dimensions of view on informatics services, analysis of standards dealing with services in aim to find mutual contingency, creation of global model of service, definition of global sense and functionality of services and clarifying the look on the services in organizations. If this look is broader one or only technical solution of informatics is taken into account (the broad context is connected with processes and business). In the first part of my thesis the dimensions of different views on issue of services in informatics are specified. It includes the overlapping of these dimensions according to read literature and other internet sources. The second part of my work is about analyzing of standards in information services provided in services orientated architecture and standards dealing with governance of services in informatics. Next chapter involves the global model of service created on basis of previous analysis and the knowledge from read literature. The fourth chapter is focused on definition of the global sense and functionality of services. The last part of my thesis summarized the most common problems which can occur during introduction of services. The last chapter contains the case study in which the importance of understanding of services in their broad context is mentioned and revealed.

Práce zkoumá možnosti analýzy mechanismů působících během vstupu ČR do EU pomocí 2 ekonometrických modelů. První model je makroekonomický, vychází z Romerova IS-MP modelu. Je specifikovaný a odhadnutý jako GARCH model za použití časových řad pozorování, na jeho základě jsou stanoveny předpovědi. Výsledky ukazují velkou propojenost ekonomiky ČR s ekonomikou EU v období před vstupem do EU. Druhý model je mikroekonomický, tzv. "model obecné rovnováhy" (GE model). Jeho parametry jsou kalibrovány na základě dat z jednoho období. Model lze využít k simulacím změn souvisejících se vstupem ČR do EU.

Diploma thesis aims to clarify necessity of the use of IS audit in the financial audit and to identify the main areas of IS audit, which are necessary to focused during the financial audit. IS Audit is a developing area, but it is not always taken as a natural part of the financial audit. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge of the financial audit and the audit of information systems. The second part describes the links between these two types of audit, the reasons why i tis necessary to involve the IS audit into the financial audit and the method of tis involving. In the end, there is an output of IS audit performed within the financial audit on the basis of the identified areas.

The aim of master´s thesis is processing of the business plan for creating developer´s company that will be dealing with the realization building project. The proposal of business plan gets out of gathered informations, analysis of contemporary state of the branch and finding the market opportunity.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of personal data protection in the field of marketing. The aim of the thesis is to propose recommendations that will ensure that the marketing department of the selected company complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The literature review focuses on the legal grounding of personal data protection, the General Data Protection Regulation and the definition of terms that are directly related to the issue. Attention is also paid to the context of marketing activities with the processing and protection of personal data. The own research analyses the level of personal data protection in the marketing department of the selected company, which is then compared to the requirements of the current legislation on personal data protection. At the end of the thesis, the necessary corrective measures are proposed.

This thesis deals with the institute of Administrative Law called "measure of a general scope". It is a form of administrative activity, the general rules of which were adopted by Act No. 500/2004 Coll., The Administrative Code effective from 1. 1. 2006. During vacatio legis of The Administrative Code, the Act No. 127/2005 Coll., The Electronic Communication Act came into force. It was the first act, which empowered the administrative bodies to issue an act in the form of measure of general scope. The aim of the thesis is to clarify the position of other administrative measures and acts, to assess relevant legislation, to analyze case law, to draw attention to problematic areas and suggest possible solutions. The first chapter deals with the theory of abstract and concrete acts. This is necessary to understand the nature of measures of a general scope as an act that stands between laws and decisions. The second chapter is devoted to the nature of measures of a general scope in Czech law. The institute itself was adopted imperfectly and inconsistently by a negative definition. Therefore, the Supreme Administrative Court had to deal with the character of measures of a general scope. Nowadays, case law and jurisprudence agree on the definition of measures.
