Diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of manufacturing technology of a part which was given by company Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. Manufacturing technology is prepared for conditions of workshop of Department of Machining FME Brno UT (laboratory C2). Acquired knowledges are used for design of innovative manufacturing technology with cutting tools from company Pramet Tools, s.r.o. Manufacturing technologies of gained part are designed for alloy blank EN AW 6082. Technical-economical assessment of all manufacturing technologies is part of this thesis. Both of manufacturing technologies designed for laboratory C2 are assessed together and manufacturing technology given by company Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. is assessed alone due to using different blank material.

The subject of this work is the repair of an air-handling unit. Possible causes of the problem are analyzed and multiple solutions are proposed. The first variant considers the refurbishment of the damaged component using thermal spray technology, including the choice of the best method. The second solution proposes the manufacture of a new part using machining in the environment of the company. This process requires an intermediate product to be made, and the choice of the correct machines from what the company has available, choice of the right tools and cutting conditions. The technical-economical evaluation compares the the expenses tied with both of the solutions. The chosen repair solution was used for the repair of the air-handling unit.

The thesis consists of a research focused on the issue of combined firearms, the specification of the part the thesis deals with and the analysis of the materials used. The practical chapters solve component clamping, tool selection and subsequent elaboration of the NC programs. At the end of the thesis there is shown the simulation of machinig including collison control.

The most important is the third chapter, because it deals with the main output, and the actual proposal of technological preparation of the production. In the fourth chapter, production is reviewed economically.

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou volby grafitového materiálu využívaného pro výrobu nástrojových elektrod při elektroerozivní obrábění. Práce je rozdělena do třech částí. Teoretická rešerše nekonvenční technologie elektroerozivního obrábění vypracovaná dle uvedených zdrojů se nachází v první části práce. Dále je v práci proveden cenový průzkum EDM grafitových materiálů nabízených v České republice a na Slovensku. Čtyři odlišné stupně kvality grafitu (od stávajícího dodavatele firmy GAMARTIS TRADE s.r.o.) a jeden měděný materiál byly podrobeny experimentu, jehož účelem bylo zjištění závislosti mezi kvalitou grafitového materiálu (cena) a přesností vyhloubené kavity, opotřebením nástrojové elektrody, časem obrábění nebo také drsností povrchu.

This diploma thesis is focused on a design of rationalization solutions for machining workplace in Siemens Company. The machined pieces are shafts, the basic components of the electric motors. The introductory part of this study describes the theoretical basics of machining technology, especially milling. The next part is focused on the company presentation, the analysis of the existing workplace and its technologies and components. In the following section are selected weaker production sites, and then is presented opportunities for improvement and rationalization of this workplace. Following the elaboration of the selected rationalization solution, along with techno – economic evaluation of the production change, which highlights the results of this study.

The content of the thesis is finding out the purpose of the part in the machine unit, analyzing similar production processes, detail drawing analysis, developing manufacturing technologies, including machine and material equipment. In this thesis all the necessary technological problems are formulated and solved, such as calculation of cutting conditions, machine time and costs. The proposed production technologies are compared and in conclusion of the thesis is a brief summary of achieved results, their evaluation and selection of the appropriate production technology and some recommendations are given.

This diploma thesis is focused on piece production of the component and its subsequent assembly. It is an interchangeable spindle head marked VA1 from the product portfolio of TOS KUŘIM - OS, a.s. The aims of the diploma thesis include the characteristics of the assigned component, the subsequent analysis of the current manufacturing and assembly process. In the price calculations chapter, the direct and indirect input costs for the part production are quantified. Proposals to improve production were presented to the company and offered for possible implementation.
