This paper deals with corpus linguistics. There are two applications under its scrutiny. Both of these applications are processing data from the corpus DeReKo via corpus-driven approach. It is a co-occurrence analysis and a Co-occurrence database. The aim of the work is to evaluate whether the results obtained by the co-occurrence analysis of the current scope of DeReKo are different from the results of the Co-occurrence database, which was created on a basis of a smaller scale corpus. In addition, this thesis offers illustrative examples of the use of both applications and the evaluation of their effectiveness, depending on the purpose of the research. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the terminology of corpus linguistics and with the mentioned corpuses, which serve as a basis for the practical part of the thesis. The empirical part of the thesis consists of analyses of the randomly picked words (one from each word class) in both applications. The results confirm that the data obtained with Co-occurrence database and co-occurrence analysis are in many respects different and thus confirm the hypothesis that the corpus size plays a crucial role in the results. O principal objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar as bases teóricas da metodologia de projeto, compreender sua evolução inicial e a influência de outras áreas nesse processo. Teve também como objetivo, descrever os primeiros métodos sistemáticos, presentes entre 1962 a 1973, os confrontado com as teorias presentes no referencial teórico. Isso foi feito através da análise de citações das seis primeiras obras publicadas sobre o tema somado ao registro da primeira conferência sobre métodos de projeto de 1962, criando uma base de dados de 1330 referências bibliográficas. O estudo identifica os principais campos que influenciaram os métodos, centrados em uma abordagem de sistemas. Além disso, revela uma lista de trabalhos e autores que precederam as publicações sobre métodos de projeto e que podem ser considerados os primórdios de um pensamento projetual. Essa lista, que pode ser considerada a principal contribuição do trabalho, foi feita através de técnicas de bibliometria, como a co-citação e o acoplamento bibliográfico, aliadas a análise de redes fazendo o cruzamento entre os autores, unindo dados quantitativos a uma análise qualitativa, esse resultado é contextualizado em uma linha do tempo e em um quadro histórico. Por fim é feita uma reflexão sobre a evolução e as tendências atuais e futuras da metodologia de projeto. / The main aim of this work was to investigate the theoretical bases of design methodology, understand their early evolution and the influence of other fields in this process. Had also aimed to describe the first systematic methods, present from 1962 to 1973, and confronting it with the theories present in the theoretical framework. This was done through citation analysis of the first six books published on the subject added to the published papers of the 1962 first conference on design methods, creating a database of 1330 references. The study identifies core fields that influenced the methods, focusing on a systems approach. Moreover, it shows a list of works and authors that preceded the publications on design methods and can be considered the beginnings of design thinking. The list, which can be considered the main contribution of the research was done through bibliometric techniques such as co-citation and bibliographic coupling, combined with network analysis making the crossing between the authors combining quantitative data with qualitative analysis, this results is contextualised into a time line and in a historical frame. At last was made a reflection about the evolution, current trends, and future of design methodology.

The purpose of this paper is to work out criteria for selection of Russian conjunctions for the Swedish-Russian and Russian-Swedish dictionary Mini+ and to suggest a list of conjunctions to be included in it. The present study aims at collecting information, classifying it and examining Russian conjunctions in present-day Russian. The study also systemizes gathered material according to its diachronic features and makes corpus-based co-occurrence analysis, using Russian National Corpus (RNC) and Google Scholar. The paper presents a list of conjunctions to be included into the Russian part of the lexicon, based primarily on their grammatical and stylistic criteria as well as the results of the corpus-based frequency analysis. The choice takes into consideration limitations in size of the given dictionary. Out of a total 272 conjunctions, 55 were chosen for the Russian Swedish Mini+ dictionary. The major group (35) is simple conjunctions that frequently occur in corpus-based search and that are necessary to build basic grammar structures as well as other compound conjunctions, ex. а, даже, едва, если, чтобы, хотя. The second group (13) is compound conjunctions that are important for building most frequent subordinate clauses. The third group (7) is compound conjunctions that frequently occur in corpora.

The present thesis is based on my experience as one of the contributors to The Large Academic Dictionary German-Czech. It attempts to discuss the role of word formation in German-Czech dictionaries in that it focuses on presentation of word formation in outer texts, macrostructural ordering procedures, treatment of word forming elements, special word formation parts of dictionary entries and possibilities of typography as a means word formation description in a bilingual dictionary. The approach taken is both contemplative and transformative. The thesis rests on the study of existing German-Czech dictionaries published mostly after 1945, partly between 1802 and 1945 as well. Concrete function-based proposals centred on the supposed target users of the LADGC are discussed here. A considerable part of the thesis deals with German derived nouns in Ge-...(-e) seen from a corpus linguistic view.
