The thesis is focused on Marian devotion with great emphasis on Rosary. In regard on this matter papers presents Olomouc as an important catholic town of Central Europe. Result of this development are unique monuments, concretely rare mural paintings. Presented thesis includes five chapters that deals with political and social history of the town, just as global development of Marian devotion and Rosary in Europe, together with acceptance of these ideas and establishment of Rosary Confraternity in Olomouc. The most important aims of thesis are: to particularize knowledge of confraternities in town, of their activity and operations and to conduct a complex iconographic analyse of wall paintings with pinpoint of their donators. And last but not least to discuss the still unreflected inscriptions on the wall of the Chapel of St John the Baptist of St Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc.

This Master's thesis maps the history and present of using medicinal, aromatic and spice plants in floristry. Based on this, a summary of plant species used in floristry has been created. It also points out their history and usage. Experimental part deals with presentation of medicinal, aromatic and spice plants on Flora Olomouc 2013 exhibition, describes the used presentation techniques and deals with economy of presentation. Appendix is made up of photographic documenation of these plants used in floristry and exhibitions.

The first part of the paper deals with the mural paintings on a Christological theme decorating the northern and eastern walls of the High Gothic ambulatory, which is a part of the National cultural monument Přemyslid Castle. Last Judgement, Annunciation, Adoration of the Magi and Adoration of the Shepherds are depicted on the northern side of the cloister. On the opposite wall between the windows there is a representation of two donators. The eastern front of the ambulatory is decorated with scenes depicting the Crucifixion, Lamentation, Resurrection and Christ with the Arma Christi. Paintings are dated successively from the late 15th century to the first two decades of the 16th century. The different dating of paintings, of course, demonstrates various inspirational sources. The study also reflects many recent discoveries that reveal the origins of the decoration of the cloister. These paintings were probably commissioned by members of the Olomouc Chapter, who were in close contact with Humanistic Societas Maierhofiana. Further the paper focuses on the wall paintings in the John the Baptist' Chapel, where the scenes adorn not only the walls, but also the vault of the eastern field. The frescos were probably created between 1493 and 1517 by the hands of several painters.

Will man eine an einem bestimmten Ort aktive Musikszene ausführlicher betrachten, wird man sich notwendigerweise auch solcher Gebiete der Musikwissenschaft bedienen, die die Musikrezeption umfassen. Es geht dabei vor allem um die Musikkritik, um Musiktheorie und -pädagogik und um den Schutz von musikalischen Werten. Ganz allgemein pflegt man das ganze Feld in den Bereich der so genannten ernsten und der unterhaltenden Musik zu unterteilen. Doch in einer solchen Breite wäre es nicht möglich, die Materie zu behandeln, und deswegen werden für den Zweck dieses Beitrages vor allem die Entwicklungsströme verfolgt, die für die Erfassung und das Erkennen von Parallelen relevant sind.

Am Ende dieses Beitrags lässt sich konstatieren, dass die Kapellmeister des Domchors in Olomouc angesichts der schwierigen gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Ereignisse des Zeitraums 1872 bis 1985 die besondere und bedeutende Stellung ihrer musikalischen Institution und ihres Chorkörpers sehr gut gepflegt haben. Als Künstler und Persönlichkeiten knüpften sie ehrenvoll an ein Hunderte Jahre altes musikalisches und geistiges Vermächtnis des Wenzelsdoms als einer bedeutenden mährischen Kirche an.

Diploma thesis is aimed on solution of project documentation design of a four-storey low-energy block of apartments with a flat roof in the degree of project realization. The object has a collective garage on first floor and no basement. The structure is designed with the emphasis on overall energy saving, which was documented by detailed calculation of the energy performance of the building under Decree No.78 / 2013 Coll. and ČSN 73 0540-2.

The thesis aimed to analyze the depiction of the monetary reform in 1953 in Czechoslovakia in the regional printed media in Olomouc (Stráž lidu and Časopis Krajského národního výboru Olomouc) and to compare the published reports at the regional level with the national press (Rudé právo and Svobodné slovo). A more detailed look into the situation was also provided by examining the archival documents of political authorities (HSTD, the press department of the KV KSČ in Olomouc and the KNV Olomouc) who were in charge of the analyzed newspapers and the aim was to find out whether the written instructions to individual editors on how to report about the economic changes in the newspaper were preserved. For the analysis of archival materials and preserved copies of selected newspapers, I chose the historical direct method, historical-comparative method and narrative analysis. Research in the archives did not provide direct evidence that the competent state authorities in charge of the analyzed periodicals passed instructions on what is to be printed about monetary reform to the editors of each analysed newspapers. This diploma thesis deals with the reconstruction of intersection streets Jeremenkova, Pasteurova and Černá cesta. This design is a new roundabout with three branches and one bypass. The aim of renovation is to improve traffic safety at the intersection and increasing continuity and respecting architectural principles. This project addresses the design of roundabout, analyzing problems and developer technical studies.

The commercial real estate market is constantly changing and some developments can be observed in our approach to it. Like every other market, this market is also dependent on the existence of supply and demand. The diploma thesis "Analysis of the Real Estate Market with Catering Facilities in Olomouc" deals, as the name suggests, with the analysis of the real estate market with catering facilities in the statutory and university city of Olomouc. It solves especially the survey and analysis of the market with a focus on the sale and rental of catering facilities (such as restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, etc.). Further, based on the analysis of this segment of the real estate market, this thesis determines the factors which influence market prices and market rents and it describes the way of their influence.

This master´s thesis „Analysis of Selected Methods of Valuation of Garage-Type Real Estate in the Locality of Olomouc“ compares different methods of valuation in the area. Acquired data out of the valuation are further analyzed and then evaluated. The first part describes the basic terms, location and analysis of the real estate valuation. This is followed by a description of selected garages and valuation methods. For this thesis were chosen to value the 10 properties that are located throughout the Olomouc. Garages are valued at cost method, comparative method of regulativ and comparative way, depending on the database. The resulting data are being compared and subsequently evaluated.
