Nástroj pro práci s NDL / Tools for NDL Elaboration

Myazina, Elena January 2014 (has links)
Title: Tools for NDL Elaboration Author: Bc. Elena Myazina Department: Department of Software Engineering Supervisor of the master thesis: doc. Ing. Karel Richta, CSc., Dept. of Software Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague Abstract: Current state of research of networks enables end users to create custom connections (lightpaths) for a given application and optical private networks (OPNs). Such adjustments require clear communication between the requesting application and the desired network. Language NDL (Network Description Language) is used to describe such optical networks. NDL is based on the Resource Description Framework (RDF). This thesis analyzes the network description language NDL and its treatment. Current status of the network can be loaded in the form of the description in the NDL and displayed as the graphical representation. The representation enables to find out paths in the network, or edit the network. The result can then be transformed back into NDL format. Keywords: NDL, RDF, optical technology.

Koherentní analogové zpracování optické informace / Coherent Analog Processing of Optical Information

Hrůza, Libor January 2008 (has links)
In my essay I show Fourier transform theory and applications in context with difraction theory especially Fraunhofer difraction. In part of the experiment, I set up an optical signal processing system. I take the Fourier transform of an input signal using a lens, filter the transform by placing various filters at the Fourier plane, and take the inverse transform. A simple optical bench consists of a laser, to produce a parallel, monochromatic beam which illuminates a specific area of the micrograph. Lens to focus the Fraunhofer diffraction pattern in the back focal plane of the lens. Mask transit contrived light or block out most of the noise in the diffraction pattern arising from image features. A reconstruction lens, placed behind the mask, refocuses the unobstructed rays and forms a filtered image. Optical diffraction provides useful information about the geometrical arrangement of subunits in the specimen. I make experiments for attestation on elementary objects and real images in mathematic program Matlab. From knowledge Fraunhofer difraction and organization of experiment I calculated size of circular object. I show practical using of Fraunhofer difraction and optical filtration. My essay give good introduction to the theory and techniques of optical filtration.

Návrh, výstavba a měření optických přístupových sítí / Design, development and measurement of optical access networks

Ambrož, Jan January 2011 (has links)
The work deals with the possibilities of realization of optical access networks. They are introduced to FTTx optical access, including their specifications and differences. The document was largely devoted to passive and active optical networks. These two different technological approaches are explained and compared. Are presented technical solutions of routes - traditional options for laying underground or into the air, but also as an alternative microtubing. Mentioned are also the active network technology. The work also included the issue of measurement of optical access networks. They are illuminated important transmission parameters and methods for their measurement. The whole work is directed to the full FTTH network design according to the standard GEPON. In designing the use of theoretical information contained in each chapter. It does the form of technical documentation in accordance with the procedures used in practice, contains drawings, specific technical solutions and a detailed budget price. The design was verified by attenuation of balance. Finally there are the results of simulations of the proposed network in OptiSystem7.

Návrh a simulace optické přístupové sítě typu PON / Design and simulation of passive optical network PON

Mikauš, Jiří January 2012 (has links)
The aim of master's thesis was to demonstrate chosen PON network in simulation software OPNET Modeler. The work deals with passive optical networks. In particular, solutions that are based on the transmission of Ethernet frames. EPON and 10GEPON standards are described in theoretical section. EPON Standard was introduced already in 2004. Newer 10GEOPN is back compatible, which is ideal as a suitable solution for modern network with a high data rates demands. The practical part describes process of developing network nodes for passive optical network. EPON model was developed in simulation tool, that demonstrates basic features of the standard IEEE 802.3ah. The simulation results are demonstrated in last section.

Příprava ternárních ZnxTiyOz nanostruktur metodou sol-gel a jejich aplikace v techologii solárních článků a ve fotonice / Sol-gel synthesis of ternary ZnxTiyOz nanostructures for applications in solar cell technologies and photonics

Mrázek, Jan January 2011 (has links)
The presented study deals with the sol-gel synthesis of nanocrystalline ternary phases of the general formula ZnxTiyOz, their characterization and potential application in photonics. Achieved results brings new fundamental knowledge about the processes leading to the formation of ZnxTiyOz nanocrystals from amorphous xerogels and gives novel information about structural and opto-electrical properties of prepared materials. Based on the presented results, most of all up-to-date reported ZnxTiyOz compounds with tailored nanocrystalline size and structure can be prepared as powders or thin films. Two sol-gel approaches based on the cluster process and direct heteronucleation were employed to prepare initial sol. Sols were optionally doped by Eu3+ ions to evaluate the effects of rare earth element to crystallization properties of formed compounds. In the first part of our study crystallization properties and structural evolution of thermally treated xerogels were analyzed. As a result a versatile method allowing the preparation of inverse spinel Zn2TiO4, cubic defect spinel ZnTiO3 and rhombohedral ZnTiO3 with tailored nanocrystal sizes was established. Initial composition and thermal annealing allow us to prepare selected ternary phase with tailored nanocrystal size ranging from tens of nanometers up to...

Studium světlosběrných antén na bázi bakteriochlorofylových agregátů / Study of light-harvesting antennae based on bacteriochlorophyll aggregates

Alster, Jan January 2011 (has links)
Title: Study of light-harvesting antennae based on bacteriolorophyll aggregates Author: Jan Alster Department: Department of Chemical Physics and Optics Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: doc. RNDr. Jakub Pšenčík, Ph.D. Abstract: Artificial photosynthesis is a potential future source of renewable energy. e light-to-emical energy conversion process starts with capturing light. Chlorosomes of green phototropic bacteria are probably the most efficient light-harvesting antenna found in the Nature. Moreover, their unique structure based on a self-organised ag- gregate of pigment molecules makes them relatively easy to mimic in vitro. is work explores formation and properties of self-assembled aggregates of bacteriolorophyll molecules in aqueous solvents by means of steady state and time resolved optical spec- troscopy with time resolution in the microsecond to femtosecond range. Various ag- gregation inducing agents have been tested. Isoprenoid quinones introduce a redox- dependent excitation energy quening meanism into the bacteriolorophyll aggre- gates. Carotenoids enhance the light-harvesting properties of the aggregates by cap- turing light in the spectral region where bacteriolorophyll does not and transferring the excitation energy to bacteriolorophyll. e results indicate that self-assembled...
