Akcelerace algoritmů na architektuře Larrabee / Algorithm Acceleration on Larrabee Platform

Veselý, Ivo January 2010 (has links)
Intel Larrabee is one of the first of fully programmable graphical architectures. Thesis describes this many-core architecture by hardware implementation and programmer's model point of view. Larrabee bets on many complete in-order cores, built over x86 instruction set. Cores contains four hardware threads, each with it's own register file, and new vector processing unit. Vector processing unit together with instruction set extension rapidly increases system performance. New cache modes helps to increase throughput even when irregular data structures. This architecture is not focused only on computer graphics nor image processing, but all parallel tasks. Second part of this text deals with hologram synthesis. Specifically, it brings two new methods for patch of point light sources generation with concrete radiation.

Reaktivní naprašování vrstev Al2O3 / Reactive sputtering Al2O3

Dušek, Jan January 2016 (has links)
Diploma thesis describes technology of pulse reactive magnetron sputtering of Al2O3 coating. Furthermore it deals with design of deposition process and testing new aluminium target. The technological window was determined by tests. As a result, it was possible to create Al2O3 coatings in the widest possible working range. The coatings created by apparatus PLS 160 were tested for optical properties in order to obtain transmittance. Besides the optical tests, the evaluation of mechanical properties and adhesion were performed. The obtained results from measurement were evaluated. Based on the results, some possible applications of the coating were suggested.

Optimální rozložení optické intenzity v laserovém svazku pro FSO komunikace / Optimal Intensity Distribution in a Laser Beam for FSO Communications

Barcík, Peter January 2016 (has links)
Nakoniec je pomocou získaných poznatkov zostavený plne fotonický vysielač a prijímač, ktorých použitie spočíva v generovaní a príjmaní optickej koherentnej vlny prenášajúcej presnú fázu.

Studium optických a interferenčních jevů na tenkých vrstvách organických materiálů / Study of Optical Properties and Interference Phenomena on Thin Films of Organic Mcaterials

Schmiedová, Veronika January 2016 (has links)
Ph.D. thesis is focused on the study and determination of layer thickness and optical properties, such as the dispersion dependence of the refractive index of various materials prepared in the form of thin layer. In the first part of this work the theoretical findings in the field of spectroscopic ellipsometry are summarised. These findings are followed by the description and characterization of the light polarization, evaluation of experimental data and determination of the physical properties of studied materials. Experimental and result section of this work is devoted to the preparation and characterization of thin films of the studied materials: titanum dioxide (TiO2), new organic materials (MDMO-PPV, PCDTBT, PCBTDPP, PC60BM, PC70BM) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). These were all selected with respect to their potential use in the organic photovoltaics.

Kombinované struktury v optickém vlákně / The combined structures in optical fiber

Klvaňa, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this master’s thesis is familiar with the problems of optical fibers and possi- bilities creating functional optical structures in optical fibers. first section focuses on the optical fibers and their properties. Another chapter deals with the functional structures of optical fiber and their production. Next section is devoted to the analysis of combinations of these functional structures and their potential applications in sensors. Subsequently, a combined structure is proposed, which is later produced, measured and evaluated for possible use in the sensors

Spolehlivé systémy zpracování obrazu / Reliable visual systems

Honec, Peter January 2009 (has links)
The Doctoral thesis demonstrates the design of reliable industrial visual systems. The special emphasis is dedicated to the detection of defects on webs in industrial applications based on line-scan cameras. This system makes possible detection and classification of defects originating during the real production conditions. This work covers a theoretical study of a visual system for the defect detection on endless bands as well as of appropriate lighting and the scene arrangement. Further to that have been selected, adjusted and designed key components of hardware. Following the design and optimization of algorithms a system prototype had been installed on non-woven textiles production line. Eight visual systems implemented into real-life industrial conditions based on this prototype

Digitální metody zpracování trojrozměrného zobrazení v rentgenové tomografii a holografické mikroskopii / The Three-Dimensional Digital Imaging Methods for X-ray Computed Tomography and Digital Holographic Microscopy

Kvasnica, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
This dissertation thesis deals with the methods for processing image data in X-ray microtomography and digital holographic microscopy. The work aims to achieve significant acceleration of algorithms for tomographic reconstruction and image reconstruction in holographic microscopy by means of optimization and the use of massively parallel GPU. In the field of microtomography, the new GPU (graphic processing unit) accelerated implementations of filtered back projection and back projection filtration of derived data are presented. Another presented algorithm is the orientation normalization technique and evaluation of 3D tomographic data. In the part related to holographic microscopy, the individual steps of the complete image processing procedure are described. This part introduces the new orignal technique of phase unwrapping and correction of image phase damaged by the occurrence of optical vortices in the wrapped image phase. The implementation of the methods for the compensation of the phase deformation and for tracking of cells is then described. In conclusion, there is briefly introduced the Q-PHASE software, which is the complete bundle of all the algorithms necessary for the holographic microscope control, and holographic image processing.

Rekonstrukce 3D objektu z obrazových dat / 3D Objects Reconstruction from Image Data

Cír, Filip January 2008 (has links)
This paper deals with 3D reconstruction of objects from image data. There is describes theoretical basis of the 3D optical scanning. Handheld 3D optical scanner setup is described composed of a single camera and a line laser whose position is fixed with respect to the camera. Set of image markers and a simple real-time detection algorithm are proposed. Detected markers are used to estimate position and orientation of the camera. Finally, laser detection and triangulation of points lying on object surface are discussed.

PROKOPCOVÁ, Miloslava January 2008 (has links)
The method partial weakening operation evolves cognitive function by the children in all areas cognition: optical and acoustic sensation, cubic orientation, connecting of sensation especially optical and acoustical (intermodalita), gradual thinking from simplest to more complicated (serialita), also evolve motorial abilities, speech and communication. At the same time also evolve social relations, moral-ethic principles and administer to general evolvement children{\crq}s personality in preschool and younger school age. The graduation these is structured to chapters. The first to third chapter i. a. treats of history of method, aetiology, clinical symptoms, appearance, diagnostics and retrieval partial weakening operation. In the fourth chapter are analysed psychological characteristics preschool children. The fifth chapter reflects testing of optical disabled and auditory disabled children. The sixth chapter reflects the ethic dilemma work with children. The final chapter reflects expertly treated cases.
