Měření rychlosti a polohy objektů optickými a elektromagnetickými metodami / Speed and position measurement using optical and electromagnetic methods

Dvořák, Zdeněk January 2010 (has links)
The project compares and describes the characteristics of optical and electromagnetic methods, used for measuring the object’s velocity. Some of these are used at the ballistic laboratory of PROTOTYPA, a.s. company. The rest is mentioned in order to increase the range of the project and are not engaged by the company. The practical part involves measuring and processing the magnetic fields of various appliances. There is a method and appliance designed to process the link between flying object and sensor.

Media konvertory a optické switche / Media Converters and Optical Switches

Branč, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This Master´s thesis provides an overview of wired networks, its parameters, used standards and the deployment possibilities. Moreover, it includes the overall overview about optical networks, its parameters, maximum bandwidth, reachable distances as well as the advantages and disadvantages in comparition with wired networks. The project describes network elements which are used in the optical access network such as media convertors, optical switches etc. The practical part includes results of testing of the network devices in various scenarios. To get a comparable result, the real throughput, the power of each device and compatibility of devices from different producers were measured. At the end I have suggested few scenarios with the usage of optical switches and media convertors for extension of the current optical network. The calculation of costs for building and operation of the network is also included.

Vyhodnocení testových formulářů pomocí OCR / Test form evaluation by OCR

Noghe, Petr January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with the evaluation forms using optical character recognition. Image processing and methods used for OCR is described in the first part of thesis. In the practical part is created database of sample characters. The chosen method is based on correlation between patterns and recognized characters. The program is designed in a graphical environment MATLAB. Finally, several forms are evaluated and success rate of the proposed program is detected.

Optovláknový zdroj laserového záření / Fiber optic source of laser radiation

Fučík, Milan January 2013 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with parameters and properties of electromagnetic wave, its spread in environment and then in optical fiber, as well with optical fibers. Principle of laser sources and a issues of coupling a optical performance into optical fiber are described here. Next a function of laser diodes, power and cooling requirements are described. A block diagram of fiber optic source of laser radiation is designed as well as a circuit solution of every single block with respecting of parameters and sensitivity of used laser diode. The protection of laser diode and high-frequency modulation of optical power are solved. Subsequently the construction of every single block was done and the right function of constructional solution was tested.

Braggovy mřížky v optických vláknech / Bragg gratings in optical fibers

Urban, František January 2014 (has links)
Thesis focuses on the principles and properties of the tilted Bragg fiber gratings. Two models of the principal cladding mode behaviour are proposed and ther respective results compared with experimental data. The experimental setup for the preparation of the tilted gratings is described. The thesis shows the evaluation of the gratings parameters for the set of prepared gratings. Application of the tilted gratings in the sensors is discussed

Verifikace deformace strojního dílu / Verifikation of machine component strain

Novák, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
The thesis deals with a comparative analysis of strain of parts using finite element method (FEM) and measurement of the optical system Pontos. Part was used the reflector of Volkswagen Polo. The subject of comparing were the values of deviations optical shield of reflector which excitation random vibration described power spectral density. The thesis presented describes of experimental measurements to obtain the boundary conditions using optical systems. FEM analysis was performed using software ANSYS Workbench 12.

Teoretický popis zobrazení digitálním holografickým mikroskopem / Theoretical description of imaging by a digital holographic microscope

Slabá, Michala January 2010 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with theory of imaging in a transmitted-light digital holographic microscope using partially coherent illumination. The influence of spatial and temporal coherence state on optical sectioning property is solved. The coherent transfer function is calculated. From this function imaging characteristics for a two-dimensional scattering object are derived depending on its defocus. Two different designs of microscopes developed in the Laboratory of optical microscopy in IPE FME BUT are considered.

Vysokotlaký viskozimetr / High Pressure Viscometer

Skalický, Lukáš January 2013 (has links)
The master´s thesis describes design of falling ball high pressure viscometer for measurements of rheological properties of liquids under high pressure and in the wide temperature range. The design is based on similar apparatuses, which are described in literature. The speed of falling sinker is measured by two optical senzors. Apparatus allows measuring of viscosity, density and optical observing structure of liquid. There was developed extensive program for the evaluation of measurement in Matlab. Apparatus is placed in the laboratory of the Institute of Machine and Industrial Design FME BUT and is used for research and creative activities.

Měření a analýza kinematiky zadního víceprvkového zavěšení / Rear Multilink Suspension Kinematics Measurement and Analysis

Veselka, Michal January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the measurement of kinematic points of rear multilink suspension using 3D optical scanners TRITOP and ATOS and developing a measurement methodology of similar types of suspension with these scanners. Subsequently, kinematic features of this suspension are analyzed using the multibody system MSC.ADAMS / Car.
