VYUŽITÍ METOD OPTICKÉHO SKENOVÁNÍ V GEOMORFOLOGICKÝCH ANALÝZÁCH / THE USE OF IMAGE MATCHING METHODS IN GEOMORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Šiková, Zuzana January 2015 (has links)
The use of optical scanning methods in geomorpho-analysis Abstract Main goal of this thesis is to find out if it is possible to use Structure from motion (SfM) method for analyzing geomorphological objects. Four geomorphological features in three different places within Pilsen-North region was used for testing this method. These objects with very dissimilar dimensions and shapes was scanned for this testing in various light conditions. All used data-sets was entirely created by author of this thesis. The data was initially processed by Agisoft Photoscan Professional Ediditon v1.1.6 and VisualSFM v0.5.26 to create spatial models. These models was afterwards processed in CloudCompare v2.6.1 and MeshLab v1.3.3. This software was used for clipping and merging of 3D models and for converting 3D models in to real dimensions. These real sized spatial models was then contrasted together by creating comparing entities. Outcomes are evaluated in the thesis conclusion. Keywords: Structure from motion (SfM), SIFT, RANSAC

Multifunkční biomolekulární soubory pro paralelizovanou analýzu biomolekulárních interakcí / Multifunctional biomolecular assemblies for parallelized analysis of biomolecular interactions

Bocková, Markéta January 2019 (has links)
Title: Multifunctional biomolecular assemblies for parallelized analysis of biomolecular interactions Author: Markéta Bocková Department / Institute: Institute of Physics, Charles University Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Prof. Jiří Homola, Ph.D., DSc., Institute of Photonics and Electronics, The Czech Academy of Sciences Abstract: Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensors represent the most advanced optical method for the direct, real-time monitoring of biomolecular interactions without the need for labelling. This doctoral thesis aims to advance the SPR biosensor method and to expand its utility in the investigation of biomolecular interactions. This encompasses activities on two major fronts of SPR biosensor research - immobilization methods and biosensing methodologies. Methods for the immobilization of biomolecules were researched with the aim of enabling the immobilization of a broad range of biomolecules on the SPR biosensor surface in a spatially controlled manner. The development of novel biosensing methodologies was pursued in order to address the current limitations of SPR biosensors associated with non-specific adsorption and limited analyte transport, and thus to improve the accuracy and robustness of SPR biosensor measurements. Finally, advances in the development of immobilization...

Simulace monitoringu optické trasy / Simulation of optical route monitoring

Mlejnek, Zbyněk January 2010 (has links)
Monitoring optical line for a long term monitoring and evaluating both transfer quality and running reliability of optical line links' physical layer (optical cable routes) fiber optical transfer systems. Monitoring indicates any kind of security erosion of transmission medium incited by either "natural" climatic and mechanical environmental effects, indeliberated cable violation (building operation) or by intended intervention into transfer path.

Optické vláknové snímače / Optical Fiber Sensors

Krejsa, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on optical fiber sensors with detailed preview of the turbidity sensor, its design and testing. The introduction deals with the general theory of fiber sensors and measurement methodology of physical variables. This part is followed by a charter focusing on the possible ways of measuring turbidity. Furthermore, the diploma thesis introduces design of the new turbidity sensor which is realized with consideration of the industrial usage and future application to the automated process of beer production. It also includes a detailed description of the hardware and software sensors created within this thesis. The last section is devoted to a calibration and testing functionality of turbidity sensor.

Simulace a verifikace energetických systémů s optickými rastry, určených pro biologické aplikace / Simulation and verification of energy systems with optical raster, intended for biological application

KOREČKO, Jozef January 2010 (has links)
The work is evaluated a behaviour of systems utilizing a solar radiation and also looking on concordance rate between a real systems and their dynamics mathematical models. There are compare systems ? biotechnology hall with concentration photobiorectors in Nové Hrady and object of modular greenhouse in Třeboň. The simulation was created in TRNSYS (TRaNsient SYstem Simulation) program and a result from simulation was compare with real data measured in these objects. The original Czech technical components (concentration collector SG1 and passive optical rasters) were implements to TRNSYS like owners module for better describe of monitored objects. It was compared process which running in real time and describes dynamics behaviour of objects, mainly inertia and speed of developed changes. A lot of parameters influence of these processes (lay of accumulation mass, size of translucent area, orientation, shading ...). The first part of thesis consist of describe of measurement and thermal rate in monitored objects. The focus of work in the second one was aim for build of mathematical models of the monitored objects, describe its cardinal functions and technologies. The result is qualification evaluation of energy rates in systems and verifications of mathematical models, so it is mean a compare of calculated and measured values, also correction of parameters inputs to models and recommendation for user of the raster systems.

Vysokovýkonný zdroj pikosekundových optických pulzů ve střední infračervené oblasti / High-average power picosecond mid-IR source

Vyvlečka, Michal January 2017 (has links)
1 Title: High-average power picosecond mid-IR source Author: Michal Vyvlečka Department: Department of Chemical Physics and Optics Supervisor: Ing. Ondřej Novák, Ph.D., Hilase centre, Institute of Physics of CAS Abstract: High average power wavelength tunable picosecond mid-IR source based on optical parametric generation (OPG) and optical parametric amplification (OPA) is being developed. The conversion system is pumped by an Yb:YAG thin-disk laser delivering 100 W of average power at 100 kHz repetition rate, 1030 nm wavelength, and 2-3 ps pulse width. Part of this fundamental beam pumps an OPG process in a PPLN crystal. The generated wavelength is determined by PPLN's poling period and temperature. Tunability of the signal wavelength between 1.46 µm and 1.95 µm was achieved, the signal beam of 20 mW was generated at 2 W of pump power, when double pass of the beams through PPLN crystal was used. The corresponding idler wavelengths were in range 2.18-3.50 μm. The signal beam was further amplified by OPA process in two KTP crystals, which was pumped by the fundamental beam. The signal beam was amplified up to 2 W at pumping of 38 W. Tuning of the output wavelength was realized by change of the phase-matching angle in KTP crystals. Tunability between 1.70-1.95 µm for signal and 2.18-2.62 µm for idler was...
